hey /biz/, this is basically an advice thread
My father owns a business that seems to be pretty lucarative and I'm sure he's willing to pass it on to me so long as I show interest in it. The problem is that his work requires a lot of effort and while I wouldn't actually mind doing it, I wouldn't enjoy it all that much either, especially considering I want to do other things with my life which actually might land me a job I would really enjoy.
I don't want to see the business end as it is a family operation and my father has put in tons of work into it, seeing it destroyed would be fucking terrible on my conscience.
tl;dr Take over an already established business or follow my dreams?
just take over, then hire a manager.
you can pay him in blowjobs.
>>1508420
Do both. Think outside the box to lighten the load of your father's business. Not knowing the type of business, I can't say much more.

We make dog and cat collars (out of high quality leather) and leather accessories, starting to branch out into leather goods for huamns now too.
'BOOM BOOM BOOM. CRAAASSSSHHH!'
1 minute. 1 minute is all it takes for an intruder to kick your door down and breach your multimillion dollar property while you're on your monthly cruise. Completely free to ransack and pillage your millions.
1- Millions of Americans every day, work hard. But WHO is WORKING HARD to keep THEIR HARD WORK, *SAFE*?
2- Millions of Americans every day keep all their personal information NEATLY PACKAGED together, perfect for any robber to steal and impersonate your full identity.
How DO YOU protect your valuables?
CAN you afford to keep your life's work insecure? Remember. One minute is all it takes for your door to come crashing down.

if you have high-explosives sure.
but there is nothing you can do really. you can put it in a safe, but even those can be opened in time. if you have a lot of money you gonna have a safe hidden that gives the attackers at least an hour of struggle to open or move and an alarm system that connects to private security firm that responds in 10 minutes. if you don't have much wealth this is not an option it wouldn't be worth it.
Any of you faggots ever hired Labor Ready guys for projects?
Does Labor Ready take care of workers comp insurance, and all of that other redtape shit that makes hiring a $15/hr dude almost impossible/not worth it?
I've thought about it but haven't done it. Just ask the company if they cover workmans comp or if you need to. If you wanna be extra cautious ask for a copy of their policy in writing.
You could also use general liability insurance. I get mine for $400 a year.
Just depends on how big you are and where you are at. You could just say fuck it and do your thing with no coverage. There's a guy on here with a mil per year business that has no insurance.
Workmans comp is a fuckin ripoff. They wanted $1500 per year for me to cover 1 employee. And I have a fucking cleaning business. I told them to fuck off.
>>1508547
$1500? That's actually a little better than I thought, but I'm running saw and shit, so they may hit me harder. Yeah, that's half the reason I want a contractor that someone else is sweating the hr bullshit over. The other reason, I can pay a fair amount, but the work is a bit more sporadic (1 or 2 5 hr shifts a week).
I'll just give them a call. Thanks broseph!
>>1508337
I had a couple labor ready guys help me move. Saved me a shitload since moving companies rape you.
How can you profit off a family member passing away? What can you do if you know they're out the door soon? What can you do without them knowing?
>>1508292
just make sure you're in their will without them knowing you want to know whether you are in their will or not
Nothing because everyone would abuse it and anything "clever" you might come up with is illegal for sure.
figure out where their valuables are. be the first one there after they pass. that's the traditional way of settling family inheritance disputes.
So lets say Im fairly certain Germany's economy will tank within the next few years. How to make money on this knowledge?
Look at what happened in other countries in similar situations and apply that to Germany. Also stock up on roulette papers, friend.
>>1508304
Sry, auto-correct: stock up on toilet paper
>>1508306
>stock up on toilet paper
I dont get this.
i would like to hear suggestions about selling domain names. i bought a couple of stupid domain names, opened an account at flippa.com and... nothing is happening so far (not surprised).
What should i do next? i think i could make a website associated with them to get some adsense money and maybe present links to amazon as an affiliate. is this the best way to go to give visibility to the domain name and boost it's value or i could do something else?
it would be a minor bummer to spend more money on this go-nowhere little project but hey i'm willing to play around: you can't win if you don't play , right.

yeah, it's bs. best bet is use as shopify store name IMO.
>buy obscure domain names that are available because no one wants them
>Why isn't anyone buying my domain names?
What are ways that people make money on the dark net?
>>1508240
offering blow jobs.
Pretend to sell illegal things and wait for someone to give them money.
Some even deliver and actually give you the stuff.

How do I promote bs to make money off dumb goys? Help a Jew out.
Leeeeel that pic got me
>>1508234
You can legit do this.
I know a guy that has purchased $3000 worth of shit that's in that bitch.
Just yesterday he was going to buy a WordPress plugin that shortened Google URLs. For $17.
They exist.
>>1508408
>Just yesterday he was going to buy a WordPress plugin that shortened Google URLs. For $17.
Please explain.
What online methods can you guys suggest that make $500+ a month? The more passive the better.
Also, how much capital would I need to have sitting somewhere to get me that amount in interest every month? How would I put that capital to use for it to do that? Letting my money do the work for me would be the most passive of all methods. I probably don't have enough, but I'll get there one day.
Thanks.
>>1508188
Try working 40 hours a week for $10/hr.
Bam, $1600 a month + Benefits and an employer matched ira because your working full time.
>>1508188
>buy kneepads
>offer mouth as pucci
>let Jamal and Juan use it, you can be as passive as you like
Bam, ÂŁ500 a month easily
Don't focus on passive income unless you're ready to retire. Capital growth, meng, do it when you're young
Does anyone here have bodyguards/security?
Im talking about the wealthy guys who have a home guard.
Its my biggest fantasy to protect and care for someone. I wouldnt mind if they treated me like a dog if the pay was good and they let me have a gun.
Alternatively if they were lonely I'd be willing to do whatever made them happy, there sex wouldnt matter to me, suppose its a paternal feeling.
Im currently a security guard at a warehouse and whilst im content at the moment thats my dream in a few years.
anyway my question is:
>do any of /biz/ have security?
>If you own your own guard, what does he have to do or require to work for you?
>Is there a firm thats best to join for this type of security job or is it strictly an entrepreneurial venture, like ive found most of my security work so far?
Thanks for your time.
Oh, and ill post stats for people who might be intrested/want to tell me if id qualify for the job or not, just ask.
Bodyguards? I'm not sure, maybe if I did something risky.
But I want a professional driver and a personal assistant.
If I will find someone who can do all these things and I can trust him/her, that would be awesome.
But I have a feeling that when I'll be on that level in business I'll just hire someone pic related or a few playmates.
>>1508224
Fair enough, I'd be more than willing to be an over-mucsled chauffeur.
I had experience as a groundskeeper and gun boy as a teen so i think that would help in my favour should rich anons have big estates.
I think all i ever want in life is to serve someone truly deserving of my talents im accumlating in my field.
They dont have to nessisarily be a 'good' person either, just someone i can quietly admire and be proud to serve.
>do any of /biz/ have security?
not really, just some company-provided security for negotiations in Nicaragua once. in third world shitholes you basically have to hire mercs so your exces aren't kidnapped or killed. it was a bit scary sitting in a van with an ex-Blackwater guy holding an MP5 while the vehicle is doing a sharp turn onto a bumpy dirt road at 80 mph. they sent out two other cars as decoys and apparently one of them had run into a roadblock and taken fire from the roof of a building and they didn't want to take the risk that all of their routes had been compromised.
i have no way of verfiying their tale though. it might have just been marketing theater so i tell HQ to hire them again. but maybe i just can't fathom a place being so bad it's ruled by gangs and thugs with automatic weapons and loose trigger fingers...
Why are you not capitalizing on our freedom of religion? It's the easiest money to be made.
>>1508170
Man this annoys me so fucking much. Freedom of religion was meant to be about protecting the people from the government enforcing a religion on you; it wasn't meant to protect lazy fucks who won't do what their boss wants them to do. If you cannot or will not complete your work duties for any reason at all your boss has grounds to fire you, period.
>>1508170
yeah, that employer fucked up.
if their sole business was delivering beer, bacon, gay men and dogs then it'd be a different story. But if you CAN accommodate someone's stupid religion and refuse you're just asking for it.
this is why rednecks can't business. Conservatives will soon be sued out of existence and that's not a bad thing.
>>1508321
>But if you CAN accommodate someone's stupid religion and refuse you're just asking for it.
But that's retarded anon.
When should I buy a new car? My old car is starting to fail on me and the idea of a new car is nice. Here's some info
>old car is 4 cyl 1999 camry ce
>240k miles
>problems are engine mounts, vaccuum leak, bent rims, worn tires, notworking wiper fluid line, some dryrot lines and worn out rotors
>have 4k in savings, isn't going anywhere atm besides my old car parts
>>1508151
Drive it until it blows up. I doubt you'd get anything for it at this point anyway, so the value is just whatever scrap is. If it's in rush shape you wouldn't be able to part it out. (Not sure, you didn't state that).
Take 4k and buy the best valued vehicle you can get that doesn't require a payment. That's where your own personal homework will have to come in.
>>1508151
Ive always heard this. If you have to make a major repair on a car, in order to see if its a better deal to fix the car or get a new one, take the cost of the proposed repair and divide it by 12. If the figure you get is half or more of what a new car payment would be, then buy a new car.
For example
Engine craps out. Its 3600 to repair or rebuild it. That's 300-ish dollars a month. Money better put to a new car.
Or
Some random ass thing craps out and its 1000 to replace. Thats under a hundred bucks a month so just suck it up and make the repair.
>>1508158
Heh. Nice comparison. I'm planning on doing all this at home (besides the mounts i dont wanna fuck that up) so it should be cheap. I just hate the idea of piled up problems and waiting on parts to be delivered.
>>1508154
Good to know. My brother really wants rhis car but he doesnt know that deep inside I want to drive it til it dies.
How much money would I have to invest in order to make ~1k usd/month in returns monthly?
>>1508136
Google the following you stupid faggot:
1) what are interest rates?
2) why is risk and reward always proportional?
3)how do I know if I'm gay?
~$80,000
>>1508144
lot more if you want to keep up with inflation.
I've stolen so many airpods and wireless headphones this past week alone its crazy. Best part of it all is that people don't even notice because they're so glued to their smartphones or fall asleep on the bus and subway sometimes their wireless earphones just fall off by themselves. Its like Apple wanted this to happen to kickstart the underground economy because the official global economy is going to shit
I'm tired of your Tyrone. My earphones were stolen just last week. Fuck you.

I started a niche business at 16, now 21, that makes me six figures annually. It is from a few products that I designed for particular audience that had by word of mouth become very popular, so I have a several year waiting list. They are hand-made, analog electronics.
Ask me whatever you'd like about having money at a young age, managing a small business, or just about me personally.
>>1508039
Show tits?
>>1508039
What e commerce platform do you use. I just started selling niches on amazon, and it's decent
>>1508039
21 yo student here, got an idea for electronic product. Need to do a lot of testing though, so it isn't certain if it's viable.
I'm wondering what kind of workplace I need if/when I'm gonna produce my product. What kind of workplace did you use at the start, did you upgrade, and what kind of advice would you give someone like me about this topic.
