It's September 2016. The green rush is nearly here. I hope you cunts are ready. After November, weed may be legal in California, Nevada and three other states, and if you aren't a pleb you'd already be holding stocks in publicly traded marijuana companies. Canada will also legalize weed next year apparently.
So ITT we discuss the coming green rush and the marijuana industry in general, stocks news, etc.
>>1509671
Cannabis is still taxed way too high to be profitable, this is the death knell of the green rush, prices will lower and the black market will disappear (this is where the money is)
>>1509671
What is a good marijuana stock to buy? What good brands are there?
Can I buy marijuana stocks if i live in the UK?
What is the apple and microsoft of ganja?
For those who are new, here are four weed stocks you can invest in:
>Terra Tech (TRTC)
This company is heavily involved in the California and Nevada weed industries through its multiple subsidiaries.
>Pineapple Express (PNPL)
Provides capital and leases properties for cannabis businesses.
>GW Pharmaceuticals (GWPH)
A pharmaceutical company that researches and creates medicines based on cannabinoids.
>Mass Roots (MSRT)
A tech startup that provides a social media platform for people who smoke a lot of weed.

Let's assume a scenario: I have a limited fund to start with, I am in university, would saving in a P2P lending platform be a good investment? I mean it would be easy. How are the interest rates compared to actual banks? Are there any other advantages?
(Pic unrelated)
p2p is not too bad.. around 10% PA but there are far better investments that deliver the same without the headache
Lmao this fag again, what happened to your reddit borrow scheme?
>>1509612
Dunno what the fuck you're on about but I am not the faggy OP you're referring to.
what do you think about Hitlers economic miracle?
> the fact that he reduced unemployement from 30% to nearly 2% at the end of 1938 is amasing
is it possible to do nowadays?
That's a special case I think. I'd be doing much better too if I just stopped paying a massive repayment plan. I think that's at least part of it.
>>1509596
Yes Hitler is brilliant. Pouring all funding into military to the point where Germany would have a horrible economic crisis without perpetual war.
>Keynesians unironically site Hitler's economy as proof their meme school of thought actually works
>>1509623
This
I'm sick of making shit money for hard work.
Been a business/data analyst in a meme startup for the past two years. Amazing for experience, but terrible for money.
Where do I go to earn $$$ with a good data analysis/programming skillset?
>>1509581
If you're in Europe Data Science is massive in London atm. Although London is stupidly expensive for rent
>>1509681
Also learn the basics of HAdoop.
>>1509681
If you don't have atleast 5 years+ experience in data science, then don't bother for entry level roles. The pay is shit and you're better off getting a normal finance job desu
How illegal is it do dropship fake brand name clothes?
I live in the EU btw
>>1509526
It's a bit of a grey area in the states. But since you'll likely be doing relatively little business you should be ok.
Its pretty illegal, also depending on the brands but most of them are actively searching for people selling fakes. Depending on the amount of money youve made and in which country you live, youre looking at a fine or even jailtime.
>>1509526
What's the point of earning money illegally when it's almost just as easy to do it legally?
tax thread
how much income tax do you pay in your country?
germany here: I get around 6000 before taxes, after taxes, health insurance other crappy shit i am forced to pay (state pension, unemployment insurance,...) I have around 3300 left.
Is it normal in other countries that government rips off half of your money? Is it better / even worse in your contry?
In certain U.S. States and Cities it can be rough. Basically U.S. has Federal taxes, and then the state can also tax you, and then the city can also tax you. You then might still pay more taxes when you buy stuff. The income taxes are progressive. You pretty much pay no taxes on the first 10k, then you pay 15% of the next 25k, then 25% of everything after that up to 90k, and it keeps going up by a few% up to 39.6%. Investment capital gains are taxed differently though, which is awesome for those who can afford to do it. Generally, U.S. citizens pay less taxes than "free healthcare" countries, but then spend more money overall because healthcare is mad expensive here.
>>1509501
sound more or less like in germany unless that here you already pay 42% when you make more than 52K per year which is a fucking joke from my perspective. 25% up to 90K sounds really nice to me...
>>1509499
I don't pay income tax. Can you honestly say that you are free in the U.S. if you're forced to pay income tax? If taking 100% of someones production and giving them back only what they need to survive is slavery, at what point is it not slavery any more?
>Email massive company stating you've had an issue with one of their products
>They send you a check or prepaid giftcard because they don't care and they make billions per year
Why aren't you guys doing this? It's not much, just over $50 or so but for neets this seems worthwhile when it really takes a few minutes of your time.
It's not worth my time.
>>1509502
But posting on 4chan is?
What's so valuable about your time mr investment banker? How much is your time worth?
its not worth time because this doesnt happen op
When will the financial bubble pop though?
This year?
Next year?
When?
>>1509477
Maybe sooner. That deutche bank flop recently could spell doom.
They're being asked to pay 14 billion, they can't afford that. The european governments are going to have trouble bailing them out.
The central bank is already almost drained of it's ability to help with rate cuts or direct stimulus.
Expect either the bankers to grow some balls and initate the crash now. Or they will kick the can down the road one last time, but everyone will KNOW for a fact what's comming when that happens.
To profit, buy gold, buy bitcoin, short the DAX.
They won't pay 14 billion. Consider that the "This is what we will take if you don't settle with us" number. DB has already set aside 6 billion for the fine, and will probably settle around that amount.
Last year I thought it would be around now, but the media is being controlled pretty well. And I didn't account for the presidential election, people will hold their cards untill it turns out the new president won't improve shit.
Maybe if trump wins it's over, could be the final push it needs.
Question is how big the financial crisis will be though.
How do car sales men sell cars?
>>1509465
by selling a fiction about the car that the mark (or customer if you prefer) becomes drawn into, believing that their life will be substantially better if they buy said car
>>1509470
but that's fraud
By triggering maternal instincts in women and social status in men.
How many of you invest in oil?
>>1509282
I don't invest in it, but I made buckets of cash trading futures while it crashed.
Good times.
how can we make artificial oil
I bought oil sector funds back when oil was booming and made some sweet cash. Now the market is too volatile, but maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Also as a Canadian the TSX has access to a lot of cool oil minors. I'll let you know which one I pick after I invest in it :^).
What are the best books on Security Analysis?
Is this one any good or just a meme
You realise graham wrote the books 60 years ago during the time stocks were traded on paper cupongs? So, meme be it
>>1509263
don't they update it (this is the sixth edition) and provide examples of how it works with todays technology?
have you read it ? are there any others you'd recommend instead of this?
>>1509276
No I haven't. If I would like to read historical literature I would probably read about medieval times and knights, pirates and vietnam war hehe
Buy now or be poor in my opinion.
>>1509244
Did they fix the problem that was killing all those midgets?
Otherwise, I'd stay away.
>>1509351
Doesn't really matter, they're not real people.
What are some 2 year degree jobs that let me wear a nice suit?
I want to be a cold calculated office worker like my idol Yoshikage Kira from the JoJo series.
I was thinking maybe Business administration or Finance.
So basically you just want a normal life.
>>1509246
Yeah, a peaceful life to be exact.
top kek

>>1509225

>>1509225
