Does good business advice even exist? I feel like it's all intentionally misleading because the people seeking advice are potential competitors.
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
The more complex a real estate deal, the more it tends to suck from what I've seen. So I guess keep it simple?
>>
What specific business advice are you asking about?

If you're referring to typical /biz/ advice about shitcoins, weed stocks, penny stocks, forex, daytrading, Robinhood, drop shipping, food trucks, arbitrage, and precious metals, then yes, it's absolutely horrible advice, but it's not being give to intentionally deceive you. The people giving it are just retarded.
>>

Nothing in particular.
I just figure that those who are the most successful in a market are able the give the best advice but are also the most likely to mislead.

I am opposite. I can translate SP-EN-PT but not PT or EN to SP.
Try posting on yout Feicebuk account that you can translate and start by offering free translations for public sites so other people can see your work. By the way, where are you from my friend?

I don't want to find a brilliant new idea.

I don't want to create a new product that isn't in the market.

I don't want to invent an amazing "something".

I just want to open my shop, my gas station, my cafe, my restaurant, my factory, my manifacturer... and keep getting bigger.

Almost every single thread or article mentions "Finding a brilliant new idea!" or "The great new product!" when they mention entrepreneurship.

I just want to be my own boss, invest money in shop, work hard, get things going, start making money and invest my income to grow my business.

Any books - seminars - topics etc on that?

People keep recommending a book I've got called Personal MBA.

I would encourage you to innovate though. Think of the richest businesses and think about whether innovation has helped them get where they are.

anon, is accounting becoming a meme? should i switch to statistics? i like maths and i'm pretty good at it. what really interests me is economy, but the university i attend teaches shit tier keynesian scum, and i currently cannot afford going to a private one. i'm currently on my second year so it's not like i wasted a huge chunk of my life.......i'm just starting to feel this accounting shit is worthless. should i just drop this shit and learn to forex/crypto trade?

Short answer: yes if you are good. Anyone who is mentally capable of being an actuary and is not being one is a total idiot.
>>
>>1550881
Accounting is a lot better than "business" as a degree to enter general business, but the actual profession is becoming saturated.

Statistics or anything math related is always good.

Would a "conservative" internet be a viable business venture? Not looking to implement it myself, just curious if it's feasible.

Basic idea is to create alternatives to the high traffic internet sites (twotter, facebook, et al) that promote themselves as an alternative to the "biased leftist" equivalents.

It wouldn't even matter if these sites are objectively left-wing or biased or whatever, all that matters is pushing the perspective that they are.

It worked with Fox News, what's stopping someone from doing this on the internet?

>>
>>1550878
it might work but there's a couple obstacles.

1. most conservatives are old and don't internet.
2. most conservatives are old and will be dead soon.
3. the current conservatism is based on denying reality, a strategy that doesn't work for long.
4. the current conservatives have been denying reality for over 20 years now, that strategy is closer to its end than its beginning.

other than that, go for it.
>>
>>1550895
Liberal kike confirmed
>>
>>1550901
yeah, you have a point.

conservatives are also stupid, and stupid people don't have a lot of money to spend. Low education, usually poor.

thanks for bringing that up.

Yes, GBP weakness is making BTC a good option.

Fuck.
Now it's a doubles thread.
Check'em.

ITT: Why can't you just do this?

>find a volatile stock at its most volatile moment (about to release a financial report or something)
>buy a bunch of call options with current stock price as strike price
>buy a bunch of put options with current price as strike price
>options should be fairly cheap since they are at current price
>as soon as the stock makes a major move, whenever up or down, you use your options

This looks easy, but if it worked I suppose everyone would do it. So what is wrong with this idea?
14 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>1550698
Isn't that basically just a reverse iron condor?
It's ultralow risk but also very low reward.
>>
Because options obviously have expected volatility priced into them. You're just betting that the price will change more than the market expects it to, and that in no way is guaranteed money.
>>
because you need vast amounts of capital and speed to profit

Hey /Biz/, I know most of you are people trying to invest high school grad money or figure out how to get out from under your terrible professional past. However, this is a good place to start.

How do I stop being a wage slave piece of shit cuck? I'm a second year college student and I'm starting to realize that there are two types of people in this country. Consumers and producers. How do I transition to the producer role so that my life isn't controlled be fast food and iphones? I don't want to be on the slummy poor side of this country. Any suggestions?

Save money, spend less, invest in index funds, and develop marketable skills.
Spend what's left after saving.
>>
>>1550615
wew quite the way to put it. So I feel like going straight for entrepreneurial efforts is kind of an uphill battle. Like just starting a cheese slice company from the ground up is ridiculous. >>1550616
Develop marketable skills? Elaborate. Does this mean get a degree in something business related (even though college is absolutely useless for learning for only for get a degree.) Other than that this was very helpful thanks m8.

How profitable is it to buy property and rent out a billboard? I've noticed that there's lot's of extremely cheap plots of land for sale pretty much everywhere, but I don't know how much your average person/group would pay me to use it for advertizement.
Could someone enlighten me?
