>decide to split my BTC into multiple solid altcoins, putting sell orders at 5-20% higher than the buy price (depending on my expectations of pumps)

I have about a month before everything goes to shit at work. I've decided it's time to get out, so I need to find a new job.

The thing is, I'm in a corporate position and I'm making good money, so it's not exactly as simple as hopping on Craigslist or handing out resumes. How do I maximize an urgent job search?

Yeah I am interested too.

Why would you even leave your job thats paying good money unless you were about to be forced out? The economy is really shit, its not like the 80's where you could quit a job on Wednesday and have a better job by Monday.

My advice is start saving every penny because there is a chance you may not get a job and will have to survive off of savings alone.
>>
>>1568803

They're changing my job role to something I really don't want to do. This isn't unique to me, everyone's job is getting changed throughout the department, but I don't want to be a part of it. Everyone is abandoning ship.

Hello.
I dropped out of Med School and now I'm lost. I don't know what to do with my life. I'm not American. I'm 21 years old. I'm a civilian virgin (I've only fucked escorts, three times, and I couldn't get hard in the last one. It was horrible). I'm ugly: 3/10. I'm middle class and now I have huge loans to pay. I'm depressed, lack motivation, feel very dumb (even though theoretically I'm not, since I got into Med School.

What would you advise me to do? I've thought about studying Economics in the past, but then I gave up on the idea. I must admit that I didn't enjoy most of my classes in Med School and I felt like I wasn't really learning much, basically just cramming for exams and then forgetting 90% of what I read. The fact that I couldn't fit in as a normal guy and that I couldn't get any sex also killed me.

I feel weak for quitting and I'm afraid I'll always regret this, but I couldn't take it anymore. Everyday I'd cry when I got home and I had diarrhea and vomiting frequentely. I wasn't eating well, couldn't find time to work out or have any hobbies. My life was revolving around Med School and still I couldn't make it (I had poor grades).

Any of you can give me a reliable online IQ test (if such thing exists)? I really feel like I only got into Med School because the admission process is flawed. Perhaps what is killing me is my lack of discipline and mental sanity. I don't fucking know.

I like dealing with stocks and I actually feel like I'm good at it, but maybe it's just luck. Most of my investments turned out to be good. My mom told me I should try studying Economics, but I'm afraid I'll give up again!

I'm never happy. I don't remember when I was. Since I'm a kid my life is miserable.

I wanna get rich, better looking and live a good life. But am I willing to make the sacrifices?

I know doctors earn a lot of money, especially in my country, but they need to study too fucking much and often live miserable lives.

anon get your fucking shit together. yes, at this point your life seems miserable and yes, it will be hard to change that. whining around won't help. economics sounds good, just fucking do that

I have a stupid idea. You guys know about loot crates? That bullshit people prescribe to get random shit each month.

I've thought of doing a similar service, but for sex toys/lube/condoms/other sex products. I live near essentially a sex toy mecca. One would subscribe to a certain level (in dollars) and to what fetishes they have (in some broad categories) and every month receive a nondescript box full of sex toys.

How bad of an idea is this?

I own a shop and the building it's in(3 units, my shop's being the largest) and I do brisk business. I require more parking than my lot can provide, but for years the lot next to mine has sufficed because the store the lot belongs to didn't need more than a few spots at any given time and the owners didn't give two shits about my customers parking there.
But 3 months ago that store and lot were sold and the new owners put up a fence to keep my customers from parking there. Now they're even towing cars of people that park there and walk all the way around to get to other stores. That store still only needs a few spots at a time but they're just total assholes about the other 20+ spots.
It's eating into my business and forcing away customers. If I was only leasing the store I wouldn't mind just moving THAT MUCH, but I own the building so it's more complicated than that. If I sell the building to move my shop then I lose additional revenue from the other 2 businesses that currently pay me rent. But if I keep the building and rent out what's currently my shop I won't make enough to cover rent at a new location since the number of parking spots is now so limited. And if I do move my shop it needs to be to a better location, not just a different one, so If I sell the building I probably wouldn't be able to afford to buy another building in a better location without taking out a sizable loan.
What would you do?

Buy (ok, contribute to some city council members campaign fund) to get the city to open up more on street parking in your area.
>>
>>1569595
The roads are already too narrow.
>>
>>1568653
Start a second business at a larger location? Promote the guy below you to store manager and start a new business that wont strangle you. Or hand some money to the guys with the parking lot and beg them to shut the fuck up. Explain to them how you being there promotes their business by bringing customers around their area.

Should I do Accounting or become an Electrician?
14 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>1568648
accounting has high stress management during certain times of the year but decent, continuous paychecks

electrician has variable income and high stress management during dangerous situations that can crop up during installation. Don't be afraid to get dirty either.

There are a lot of side benefits to either job so I would pick whatever you would be comfortable with environment wise.

Hello /biz/inessmen, I have a question! This board is the closest I can get to fit the subject matter, but forgive me if it's actually off-topic.

Why are healthcare costs so very high in the USA? What is the cause of healthcare inflation? And why are drugs far more expensive than their European counterparts?

I mean one of the reasons people say we could never go to a universal model is because our healthcare is so expensive.

As an additional question, how could we go about fixing the healthcare system, or at least improving it? What reforms could help?

>Why are healthcare costs so very high in the USA?
This is a bit of a myth. Regardless of what's printed on these invoices, you pay your deductible (if any) and insurance covers the rest. And I assure you that the insurance company only pays a fraction of what's listed on the invoice -- they negotiate massive price discounts because they have leverage.

Really, the only people who face out-of-control healthcare costs are people who refuse to get insurance. Not to be political, but this is why the Affordable Care Act is fundamentally good for America. The system assume that you have insurance, and the ACA helps make sure that's true. Refuse, and you might pay the price.

It's not perfect, but America doesn't want the government running their healthcare system (which is what would happen if you repeal Obamacare and try to start over). Private insurance serves the same role that the government serves in other country's systems.

Also, and this can't be overstated, heathcare is the U.S. is the best in the world. We pay more, but we get more. Better doctors, better facilities, and better results. Personally, I'm fine paying a little extra when it actually means better care.
>>
>>1568641
>And why are drugs far more expensive than their European counterparts?
The US doesn't impose price controls on pharmaceuticals, and doesn't subsidise them. Where I live, Australia, the government buys drugs in bulk and caps the price at $38.30 (the govt pays the rest), if and only if the drugs are cost-effective. Canada imposes price controls as well.

> Why are healthcare costs so very high in the USA?
Healthcare is expensive because the government refuses to implement some form of universal healthcare system similar to what exists in pretty much every first-world nation in the world.

I'm sure that will trigger some /pol/iticians, but that's the truth of the matter.
