So I had a thought and wondered /biz/ thought of it
First ignore errors on the exact working of the Fed because this post will get somethings wrong
How would the economy respond to:
>The Fed simply creating enough money to finance the government for a year. Assume a debt free exchange of money creation
>This would be done instead of QE programs that have currently cost over the total Federal Budget for a years operation
>No taxes would be collected this year, everything would be financed by this monetary expansion
Now obviously inflation would be an issue, but the monetary supply is already expanded by similar amounts with QE. So in my mind it would simply be shifting already possibly occurring inflation into a form that allows no taxes for a year. This would eliminate all DWL for a year and allow an economy with no tax but all benefit to exist for at least a year. Would this create effective growth?

Yeah he and his friend are retarded

>>The Fed simply creating enough money to finance the government for a year. Assume a debt free exchange of money creation
What is their incentive. If they start doing retarded arbitrary shit like this more people might realize the whole thing is a scam.
- Anyone here have a successful and durable experience in forex trading ?
- What's techniques did you use ?
- With how much money did you begin ?
- Gives me advice for a beginner like me, please.
I am really sad when i read specialized forums in forex, why?
Because all the trading journal I read ends the same way :
They end up losing all their gains and have their account to 0 dollars, after 6 months or 1 year.
I need testimonials from people who really live forex successfully since several years.
http://forums.babypips.com/newbie-island/70214-truth-about-forex-you-cant-become-rich.html
I think this method is the best to learn forex or index cfd:
Depositing tiny amount less than € 200 and try to make it grow until 1000, once in 1000 reached 900 withdraw.
With the remaining € 100, try to grow them again to € 1,000, remove 900 ... etc.
Do it 10 times successfully
Instead of dropping € 50,000, losing after six months, redeposit € 20,000 and lose again after one week.

I see that guy making this thread for year now - still nobody wants to talk with him. Why admin doesn't suspend this spammer ?
Not sure if this is the right board to ask, but well I'm a bit desperate. I graduated this summer from my Engineering Degree in the UK, and I have been actively looking for a job for the past month and I did not even get to interview stage with any company.
Is this the normal thing?
Have you bought your kneepads yet?

1. Work on your own projects / start a business.
2. Do internships.
3. Do a master / phd.
Basically build a resume, there are a lot of engineers who are shit, did nothing, copied others students work and still graduated.
You need to prove companies you're not them. Step 1 is a good resume.

A living with an account?
If you've never been offered a sponsor deal yet, it's a shit account.
200,000 accounts is a lot. You could skate by on that for a while. Most of those accounts will get banned tho

Its possible if you are smart and can live for under $10,000 a year

They invest your unsettled funds after a trade. It's also pretty basic shit.
> When is it coming to my country?
Never. They only have "plans" on an Australian beta.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.
> Is this the place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
HAI, SENSEI!!
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform. -- (also learn difference between LIMIT and MARKET orders!!!)
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or Yahoo/Google finance for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

what is robinhood? how does it work?
>>1573434
step 1-first you give them your money
step 2- Robinhood tells you that they wont allow you to trade on half the stock exchanges
step 3- any money you dont invest gets stolen from you
step 4- realize that its a scam and get a real online broker or better yet use a local banks online trading brokerage
hi i want to capitalise on the cuckolding trend that i predict will go mainstream before the end of the next decade ( monogomy will be usurped by state-mandated cuckoldry for beta males who will be assigned an alpha bull for their mates)
i was thinking i could start an entrepreneurial endeavour to capitalise on the cuckolding before it even begins and i wanted to ask if any of you had any ideas - i was thinking maybe a "big bull's cuck co." that would act as a logistical cuckolding agency and scout & procure various bulls to be assigned to various cucks. the bull's performance would be trackled through patented technology.
any thoughts?
thanks

Hey /biz/
Started a new job 2 weeks ago in a B2B sales company. Job requires cold calling and door knocking. Good weekly retainer and good commission on sales. (Using this job as a stepping stone to start my own company)
For some reason I have an anxiety/ overriding reluctance to make cold calls. The calls themselves arnt bad (few rude ones) so I have no idea why I'm basically scared to call people..
How have you dealt with this in the past? Any tips on overcoming this issue?
>>1573069
I usually say something like "fuck your mother and never call here again". If I'm not busy I'll try to keep them on the phone as long as possible with retarded questions to waste their time before telling to fuck themselves.
>>1573069
Cold calling is alot of fun. I just ring random numbers in the phonebook pretending to promote a product. Treat it like a game and you will be fine.

I've only listened to the audiobooks of 'Psychology of Selling' and they're really entertaining and informative. The course deals with calling anxiety, too.

Can someone explain how mutual and index funds work? So I just give my money to a bank and they will invest it in whatever stocks they want then pay me the profits? This sounds too good to be true to me. Do they have a chance of losing it? Can I take all my investment back whenever I want? How much profit is realistic, in percentage?
Also, is it better to invest your money in mutual funds and play safe or start businesses and risk losing money in them? The vast majority of businesses fail and a lot more people are on the business train now so the markets are oversaturated really and there's much more competition.
http://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/indexfund.asp
An index fund is a type of mutual fund with a portfolio constructed to match or track the components of a market index, such as the Standard & Poor's 500 Index (S&P 500). An index mutual fund is said to provide broad market exposure, low operating expenses and low portfolio turnover. These funds adhere to specific rules or standards (e.g. efficient tax management or reducing tracking errors) that stay in place no matter the state of the markets.
BREAKING DOWN 'Index Fund'
"Indexing" is a passive form of fund management that has been successful in outperforming most actively managed mutual funds. While the most popular index funds track the S&P 500, a number of other indexes, including the Russell 2000 (small companies), the DJ Wilshire 5000 (total stock market), the MSCI EAFE (foreign stocks in Europe, Australasia, Far East) and the Barclays Capital Aggregate Bond Index (total bond market) are widely used for index funds.
Index Funds vs. Actively Managed Funds
Investing in an index fund is a form of passive investing. The primary advantage to such a strategy is the lower management expense ratio on an index fund. Also, a majority of mutual funds fail to beat broad indexes, such as the S&P 500. Index funds are generally considered ideal core portfolio holdings for retirement accounts, such as individual retirement accounts (IRAs) and 401(k) accounts.
Since the fund managers of an index fund are simply replicating the performance of a benchmark index, they do not need the services of research analysts and others that assist in the stock selection process. Actively managed funds do need to utilize a research team. In these cases, the extra costs of fund management get reflected in the fund's expense ratio, and get passed on to shareholders.

How do i make money with money biz
>>1573004
I have an EXTREMELY small portfolio with LendingClub (less than $2.5k) as a test. Only started about 6 months ago, but so far so good. Really not going to be able to tell until the notes mature a little more.

How bad are you fucked if someone defaults?
>>1573004
I don't know who they actually lend money to. They advertise loaning to people who can't get money from traditional lenders. But every pre-approval they send me is a decline in disguise even though I can get small loans or cards from a bank without too much hassle.
How can you survive in businesses when there is so much competition? I am competing with one hundred competitors for instance.
>>1572989
how do you beat any superior adversary on an otherwise level playing field?
how did the americans defeat the brits?
how did the nazis blitz europe?

Don't compete, dominate.
Do anything and everything it takes to win.
This is the only answer.

So my neighbor wants me to landscape his yard and is paying me a few thousand dollars for materials and labor...but I'm not a contractor and I don't have a license. In the state of California any project that cost more than $500 requires a contractor's license.
