What do ya think? 04 Used Ford Explorer with 112,000 for 4 grand. Just something I need to get around, haul geal. Also I make 35K an year. Am I do a good?

I'd recommend Chevy if you're down in that price range. The engines are better and overall drive trains last longer.
I'm not saying Fords are bad at that age, but you'd have a better shot with a Chevy.

Independent contractors/musicians/artsy types, what kind of business cards do you have? I'm a bassist looking to work on my personal presentation and advertising and I really need some business cards to help put the word out there. Just kinda looking for inspiration, as Googling hasn't really helped me as much as I would've liked it to.
Anyone care to post their cards or examples of what they think makes a good business card for some inspo?

For sure, the card will have a link to my YouTube. I've also thought of making a SoundCloud just to post some studio recordings as examples of me recording for others.
I need to work on making myself searchable though. Should probably get a LinkedIn and begin associating my YouTube/social media with my real name to further my presentation.

I need to turn my life around and a few others. I can't have my own child if I'm not rich, I won't allow it.

So I recently came to the conclusion that I need a technical co founder. I guess tech co founders would class me as an "ideas" guy, and I know tech guys usually like to work with or around other tech guys, but I know the bare minimum about software development and "coding" if you will. I know HTML and JS but that's about it, however I'm am eager to learn more and would actually enjoy immersing myself in my co founders world.
That being said, I can actually bring substance to the founder partnership because I own and have run businesses so I know how to market, pitch to investors, create revenue streams, handle accounting, business relations (with investors and employees mostly), and I know how scale a business up, I've also failed, and failing has taught me what others may not know about pure business. All that being said, the one thing I have trouble doing is finding a technical co founder, the last one I had ran out on me, before we even got started, so I scraped the idea and business plan and started fresh, 2 years of market research and I've finally landed on a couple of ideas that would actually be worth our time and effort, and of course, money. Hey /biz/, so in a few weeks, there's gonna be about 50 Syrians moving into an apartment complex being build for them by my towns council in the UK. I wonna know how to profit of this, I can speak Arabic so I was initially thinking of starting company doing general house cleaning/valet, car cleaning, gardening, house work (like plumbing, tiling, grouting) work, and employing these guys to hand out flyers, and employing those fit enough for work, paying them like an American contractor would a Mexican. Thoughts? Ideas?

i would start there. fixing computers is easy. house cleaning is even easier.
affiliate marketing is easy to make a profit in the first week. but if you don't know anything about it, it's unlikely.

First tip- Don't.
It's not a get rich quick scheme, there isn't any guarantee you're on a goldmine property, if you don't put in at least, if not more time and effort into it than you would a regular day to day job, you will just end up with a lot of garbage on a lot that goes vacant you'll have to sell to a professional developer like the cuck you are.

Those ads you hear on the radio looking for people to "learn the ins and outs of house flipping" are a really good way to lose a couple hundred, if not a couple thousand bucks. If you want to learn the ins and outs, literally just buy an auction or foreclosure property and do a blanket google search on "how to flip houses", you will find a lot of information, step by step tutorials, blogs of people who have made it, and blogs of people who haven't. You learn from all of them and take in what you can.
There's a few questions you need to ask yourself before you start-
Do I have enough to logically sustain myself and my family for the time it will take to flip this house and keep it on market (~5-7 months)
Do I have enough to where I can take a minimal profit, no profit, or a small loss on a property and not have it severely effect my well being?
Where am I looking to begin my flips?
Am I going to sell or rent properties, and if renting, can I logically convert the space into multifamily housing or hybrid housing/business property?

Hello.
