My current company asked what kind of animal I'd be. I chose bear because they're cuddly yet stoic. I'm not sure what the question was meant to illicit, or how my answer pleased them.

Interviews are basically autism litmus tests. The interview learns within two minutes whether or not they'll take you on.

STUDENT FAFSA

I am filling out my FAFSA and it is asking How much money did my mom receive in child support last year, and how much I had in savings. What should I put to get maximum profits from FAFSA?

Dont forget your mom received free "meals" at her job. That counts as income
>>
Not sure anon maybe others can weigh in

Most FAFSA money comes in the form of unforgivable debt. "Maxing out" your FAFSA money is basically just shitting in your own shoes.

What is the cheapest possible living space you can purchase?

I have been looking at apartments and they're as expensive to own as actual houses here.

I don't care about size or anything, single bedroom would be fine.

Would it be worth buying a caravan? The lack of plumbing would be a bitch.

The goal is basically to secure a permanent living quarters as quickly as possible without getting fucked in the ass with a mortgage for decades of my life, even if it's basically a cupboard.

Tent, one-time 150-500 Dollars and you're gucci mane. You'll probably need a vehicle though and somewhat rural location. I've heard of people furnishing their vans or RV to live in. You'll have to spend time researching how to make up for electricity and water and what you may need to install. All of these options will have social costs, but i assume you don't care about that since you are considering extreme options in the first place.
>>
You can buy decent ~1500 sq ft houses in my area for under 40k USD, as long as you don't mind googles and burritos
>>
>>1596636

A van.

So biz i recently recieved a large sum of money (career bonus) $33000 to be exact. I have a 2007 ford ecscape with 220000 miles on it so its safe to assume ot will die soon.

My question is should i buy a new car outright ($15000 on a new used Toyota camry) and put the rest in savings /index fund......orrrr should i just put a down payment and pay payments on it.

What would /biz/ do.

Can someone help me?

I work as a sales associate paid $8.50/hr. In reality I am a forklift driver, data entry, salesman, sales associate, designer, and general laborer all at once. The effort involved for the work is not at all proportional to the pay.

>sent up 15 feet on ladder to uncouple extremely heavy sinks by hand
>yelled at for getting pen in my car
>nig nog co-workers bullying me, written up for talking shit back
>reprimanded for not suggesting the best brand
>customers treating like absolute trash
>female co-workers allowed to talk shit on me, written up for standing up to them
>customers keeping everyone past closing
>demoralizing countdown to closing
>yelled at to stop wasting company resources when I get cut from the constant labor
>told to lift 100+ lb doors with just one other guy
>interior and exterior loading areas not even up to OSHA standard, could fall and die any moment
>interior, upstairs loading area LITERALLY has huge holes in the floor that you could fall through at ANY moment and die
>could easily drop heavy as fuck furniture, cabinets, tubs, etc on customers from above which puts people in danger
>regular evidence that the company CEO is a cheap asshole
>forced to lift a bunch of 60+ lb cabinets onto a narrow scissor lift by myself in a time period of 1 hour and yelled at by manager and other co-working in dept.

It's only a matter of time before I get fired, even though I work my ass off there and never complain.

if thats all true why the shit havent you quit yet?

mcdonalds pays around that much.

also if you cant lift a 100lbs door with another guy with little effort, that's pretty sad
>>
>>1596538
Jesus this is the biggest cuck shit I've ever heard. For 8.50 an hour you can just quit and go just about anywhere else.
>>
Document all of this. Sue and file OSHA and workplace safety complaints. Boom, no more working for $8.50 an hour.

You've already made a good choice by going to community college instead of university.

This. It saves a ton of money going to CC for 2 years then Uni for 2 years, instead of all 4 at Uni. The networking and internships don't begin until the last 2 years anyways.

Why does /biz/ recommend to read The Idiot by Dostoyevsky? How is it related to business?
9 posts and 1 images submitted.

90% of those books are just self help books with a financial theme and you won't actually learn anything that you can apply to real life.

How important is self-belief to making a success of yourself? Deep down I know I can do it, but there's always a little part of me bringing me down, telling me I'm dreaming.
12 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
I struggle with this sometimes.

What helps me is remembering when I was in grade school, and you would always hear:
>4th grade is way harder than 3rd grade!
>middle school is much more difficult than 5th grade!
>High school is tougher than middle school!
>Youd better prepare yourself for college!

Then what happened? You get to those places and its never actually that bad. Nothing in life is as bad as someone will tell you it is OP.
>>
>>1596183
Depends. What do you want to do OP?
>>
>>1596198
I'm in the same boat as OP. I want to be a successful entrepreneur. It's not about the money, even though i wish to make many millions. I just really feel that being an entrepreneur will bring me peace and happiness. I dream about owning stores, seeing happy customers coming and going and making a real difference. That's what I want.
Any help /biz/bros?
