What can one really do with a masters in economics?
I assume this question has been asked here an innumerable amount of times, first time on this board.

central banking, commercial banking, academia, teaching, if you statistics you which you sorta should with a major in economics you could get a job almost anywhere
>>1598768
Nothing actually useful that's for sure. It's up there with like women's studies, philosophy, and PE as far as uselessness goes. There's an upside though. Useless at making economic predictions as it is, there's tons of rich fucks and corporations out there who buy into the meme. You just need to have good bullshitting skills. If you do then there's no shortage of rich dipshits who're willing to pay you very well to do what amounts to flipping coins for them, full-time.
Kek just kidding. A coin toss is much more reliable at making predictions than economists.
Why haven't you taken any accounting classes?

It's called business school. Where else can you learn nothing but the ability to throw a tantrum until others do what you want?
Let's say hypothetically you have access to a nearly endless supply of cash
What's the best way to launder it over time or otherwise use it for purchases where cash isn't generally accepted? (hotels, flights, large purchases like homes/boats/cars/etc)

hello, FBI
just claim long term capital gains from bitcoins

I could blow it all on one hand by manipulating commodity prices and front as a super genius on the taking end, always being right on 100x leverage for little 0.5% moves, twice a day, every day for a year. I'd be the guy that turned a thousand dollars into a billion dollars in a year, the winning streak of a lifetime, tripling equity every day.
What are some other ways I can maximize my earnings?
I work at regular 40 hour a week job
I drive uber after work for 2-4 hours everyday, 20 on weekends
I don't pay rent by living in an abandoned property (I have a gym membership so I can work out and shower.)
The only things I can't do is keep food (No refrig/storage), shit/shower/shave where I sleep, and/or grow anything where I stay.
I keep my car parked in a free public lot nearby where I sleep.
Help /biz/!
>>1597976
Doesn't UBER take like 80 hours a week to be profitable.
I feel terrible about poor people like yourself. Can you not afford rent or is your preference to live in the wilds of the land? I guess it's obvious you can't afford to buy a home or property.
How old are you?
So your living costs are basically nothing, I don't really see what you can do to reduce them further.
Your issue is revenue, you need to figure out more ways to make money. How much do you save from your earnings?
>>1598003
I'm 31 years old. Please don't be rude, I don't come from anything close to a wealthy family. I don't pay rent because I don't see why I would give someone money for shelter if I can make my own, I would like to buy a house but first I would need to raise the capital to purchase said house.
>>1598006
My living costs are near nothing but I don't actually have them calculated, plus I don't even know where to begin with that:
-cost to eat everyday (I mostly only live on fast food and its very costly.)
-cost to find water everyday
-incidental items (baby wipes, razor blades, etc)
-gas/maintenance/insurance/registration/drivers licence fees (all for car)
-gym membership
I spend about as much money as I make but I can save about $200 usd every pay period (so about 810 dollars total savings so far).
I've gathered a list of companies worth having a look at for 3D printing and 3D printing materials.
3D Systems Corp (DDD)
Stratasys (SSYS)
Autodesk Inc (ADSK)
HP (HPQ)
Alcoa-WI Rg (AA)
Proto Labs Inc (PRLB)
The ExOne Co (XONE)
Voxeljet AG (ADR)
This thread is for the general discussion of 3D printing as an industry and predictions for what is to come for new materials and applications.
Guys, c'mon. Imagine a thread with no meme shilling and content from an emerging market hosted by someone in his thirties. It's a win win!

Its a next generation of 3d printing have a look at that.
It looks diffrent then the usual printer.
Seriously have a look
I own a 3d printer, I've been following them since the patent expired on 3 axis FSM and I have some experience in subtractive manufacturing. 3d printing isn't going to become a household thing for a decade at least, there isn't going to be an HP or Dell of 3d printers until we vastly improve the reliability and speed of the technology and dramatically cut the health (wrt UV cure resins and abs fumes) and waste concerns (rafts, strings, bad prints). It's like the early early computer market right now, lots of kits and home made systems with the professional stuff being way out of many companies price range. When I see a printer that can print a tennis ball sized object in under an hour, with fully closed loop motion, for under 1k I'll start looking into investments, but for now there's going to be far far more busts than Intel level booms.
Poorfag Tells Thread.
You can tell someone is a poorfag when they say:
>The stock market is gambling
And clearly think the entire stock market is some guy on a computer daytrading from hour to hour.
Opinions like these practically come with a beercan and baseball cap attached.
>>1597737
More sage poorfag advice:
>Nothing like the value of hard work, sweat, and blood in a blue collar job. Make your boss proud.
It's like they want to be underpaid wage slaves for the rest of their lives.
>>1597737
>thinking the stock market is gambling
Have you heard of robinhood?
With so many morons using it for exactly that, how is the average person supposed to understand there's a lot more to it?
"Wall Street" isn't helping with the perception either, but at least they're doing it on purpose.
>>1597799
How is the average person not a poorfag?
Hey /biz/ could I borrow 0.1 bitcoins? I'm feeling another 1500% coin popping up this saturday. I'll pay you back 50% more. The luck with me is that I don't lose bitcoins.

Now pay the 730$ per BTC if you want some.

It's that time of year. Open Enrollment for many workplaces as well as Obamacare. I just turned 26 and I'm no longer on my parents insurance. I make about 33K with a small company that I may leave this coming year. What does /biz/ recommend?
Employer plan?
Obamacare?
Private Plan?
Just save up?

Just buy health insurance if you think you'll need it
Personally I spent the last three years without it and lied during tax time, saying I had it, to avoid the penalty for not having it. They don't check.

I've decided to buy during this BTC dip. But how?
I have gift cards. Is https://paxful.com/ legit? How/where do I create a wallet?
>>1599936
There are many wallets to choose from but since most will have limits,i suggest getting a coinbase and a xapo wallet, although they may take a few days to set up because of verification, there are probably other good ones but I only use these 2.
>>1599939
Why are you willing to pay a fee to buy bitcoin?
I did the same.
>>1599978
What's a good one with no buying fee?
Recently graduated with a BBA. Trying to make a resume and I'm stuck on what to put for my skills... err how to word it.
Not sure what to put for hard skills as I don't have any certifications other than a forklift driver. I am able to type well in excess of 60wpm when I get going. Other than that I'm not sure what to put.
I taught English overseas for 5 years so I'm sure I could put something along the lines of being able to plan a curriculum and err direct a study session, but how would I word it as a skill.
Tl;dr- I'm looking for hard and soft skills i can legitimately put or bullshit on my resume
>>1599866
>taught english overseas for 5 years
>stuck on how to word his skills
the adage holds true,
those who can, do
those who can't, teach
>>1599871
And you're unable to word it as a skill... or can and just here to demean me while contributing nothing to the thread?
>>1599881
why would I help you write a resume for free? it's not my job and there are plenty of online resources where someone has already automated that task. I don't know what your skills are, you have to tell me, and if i'm the person potentially hiring you, you have to tell me on a resume, and we have come full circle as to what the problem is. I will tell you this, the problem is not my attitude
>those who can, do
>those who can't, teach
i forgot the last line
those who can't teach, teach gym.
maybe you should just teach gym.

Then again, it'd surprise me if nocoiners could scrape together enough money to afford even a single coin, no harm done I suppose.
