No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform. -- (also learn difference between LIMIT and MARKET orders!!!)

thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want a 2nd account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

Hi /biz/, /sp/ here. I built a machine learning implementation for predicting point spreads that uses 2 different algorithms and identifies consistent findings by both methods as "safe" bets. Basically, I've been able to get near 60% for a small subset of games.
However, I have an idea that stock prices may be slightly more data driven, and therefore a better target for my algorithm, and I'd like to test that hypothesis.
I was wondering if there are any sources of recent stock price data for a huge number of stocks that I could use as inputs, and also whether there were any resources where I could like buy mock stock with fake money to test the results without risking any actually money.
I know that I've gotten shit on /bet/ for thinking I can build a better algorithm than the sports books, but I know I'm not going to get rich, I just do this stuff as an autistic hobby.

how do I get my motivation to work back?
I used to be crazy skilled, worked all hours and built things that still earn me a living to this day.
but the last few years I've been depressed, burned out, and barely able to do anything, barely worked at all.
I know exactly what I should be doing, how I could improve my existing products so they could bring in much more money
but my passion and motivation is dead. It died after I spent 2 years on a labour of love project that failed hard and earned nothing.
I can sit in front the screen and force myself to work, and what used to take me an hour might take me days.
I hate so much how I am squandering my resources and skills due to apathy

Bring up the fact that the "wagegap" refers to how much women make compared to men in general, but doesn't take into account the career choices, hours worked, partime vs fulltime, amount of overtime worked of men versus women.
In a way the wagegap DOES exist, but it's not because of sexism or because men get paid more for the same jobs as women, that would be illegal and quite blatant. The difference exists that women and men make different choices when it comes to their careers.
Men for example take on Trades jobs at a much higher rate than Women - Those are low to moderately skilled jobs that pay good money.
Women on the other hand take jobs like secretarial/custodial work, childcare and teaching at a rate much higher to men.

At what point can I call myself owner/founder/CEO of my own business?
So i have a business idea, have had a logo done professionally, have researched my name/logo, nothing out there like it, even in the government trademark/copyright and have social media outlets in the name of my business.
Now, it's going to take time to get and do the legal stuff, but can i start calling myself an entrepreneur/CEO even though I don't really have my name on my company stating that i own it? If so how do i go about it? Wait for my trademark, get a business license? Please help
