I never believed this until I found a business mentor. You can have a million bucks in your pocket but that doesn't mean you will create a successful business. Most successful businesses are started by experienced people. Somebody that has been a plumber for 20 years starting his business is going to have a higher success rate than somebody with 2 years experience, even if the kid with 2 years experience had more capital. The experienced guy already knows the industry, he knows the customers and how to get them, he knows where the supplies are coming from that his boss chucks in the back of his van, etc.

If you have a lot of capital and no particular experience or knowledge in anything, then you're better off investing it in stocks or real estate rather than starting a business.

Especially if you're autistic enough to say "REEEEEEEE" then you aren't capable of operating a business, yet alone putting the empty toilet paper roll in the trash instead of waiting until your Mom does it.

I'll start, not really a richfag yet but when my uncle died 3 years ago he left me about 200k.

My mortgage rate is pretty low but the bonds and stocks haven't really paid off that much either, should I pay off the mortgage instead off investing?

Bonds are for paranoid people who literally kill themselves if their investment fluctuates 5% in a year. Convert that into index ETFs tracking the S&P 500 and forget about it for the next 10 years. Just don't panic if they go down.

If your mortgage rate is below 3% I would keep it and make minimum payments. Nothing wrong with that.

I'm very new to investing so don't take my word for it. A bunch of executives at ETRM bought shares recently. It's volume I'm pretty sure is increasing and a lot of forums/stocktwit are bullish on it. If it won't jump Monday I think it will eventually. Hell some people project it to hit $1-2 a share

There is a market and it's supplied by machine shops and it's more or less saturated.

My only real idea would be to make high end furniture or items like lamp bases and wine racks and shit that rich white women will buy and sell them to merchants dealing in such things or on a web page/ ebay.

The market for furnishings never saturates because wealthy people need status symbols.

Sounds good to me. I can do items smaller than whole articles of furniture (I don't have that much or that good tooling)

When I did this in high school, there system was really shitty. If there was a penny stock worth literally less than a penny, the system rounded down and basically let you buy it for free. Bought lots and lots of free stocks, and when just one increased in value by a penny, my overall value crushed everyone else.
