I'd say women can be stellar in leadership, but not many actually want to be leaders. Those that do usually have highschool level complexes they never grew out of.
hence, when you have a woman and a man vying for a leadership position, look very very carefully at the woman. she could wreck your company if she feels you wronged her.
On the other hand, with men you have the issue of them becoming extremely placid in their position and losing interest in advancing the company, only in reducing their own workload.
What dividend stocks do yoy have, and what is the best yield out there?
Currently invested in about 8 monthly dividend stocks like O, STAG, LTC, and some larger companies like wells fargo and coke.
I think that monthly dividend stocks are the best growth dividend payouts out there. Any suggestions for others?

ICN babe! FUCK YEAH
Dividends what is this the 1960's.
Shitty tax consequence. Mature companies where the only place to go is down.
Learn to use options to get dividend like behavior from growth stocks.

My Roth IRA is only invested in dividend aristocrat ETFs, relatively stable but netting an easy 4% annually from dividends, plus whatever capital appreciation. No taxes in the Roth IRA btw...

DOW 20,000 tomorrow before we take lunch then settlement around 19,800 just so we can hit that motherfucker again later this week. This rally can't last though, keep that in mind.
ok so i have a lot of 'solid' concepts, essentially i am an idea man.. some of these concepts could take several years, and millions in resources to develop and launch..
i understand i am the meme idea man, but does anyone have any experience with calling up large corporations and partnering to develop their ideas? i am a great salesman, but i want some background first.. mainly, what type of contract i could be selling to them, etc.
>>1678169
ok some more background.. i have a lot of consulting ideas, aka making businesses better. i was thinking of just calling up companies and becoming an independent consultant..
>>1678181
do it
I reckon you have high-tier education, work experience over 10 years and something to show on how you implemented your ideas in a business plan.
You are not one of those autistic faggot neets thinking they came up with an idea by shitposting on 4chan that noone ever came up before.
Here in my garage, just bought this new Lamborghini here. It’s fun to drive up here in the Hollywood hills. But you know what I like more than materialistic things? Knowledge. In fact, I’m a lot more proud of these seven new bookshelves that I had to get installed to hold two thousand new books that I bought. It’s like the billionaire Warren Buffett says, “the more you learn, the more you earn.”
Now maybe you’ve seen my TEDx talk where I talk about how I read a book a day. You know, I read a book a day not to show off it’s again about the knowledge. In fact, the real reason I keep this Lamborghini here is that it’s a reminder. A reminder that dreams are still possible, because it wasn’t that long ago that I was in a little town across the country sleeping on a couch in a mobile home with only forty seven dollars in my bank account. I didn’t have a college degree, I had no opportunities.
But you know what? Something happened that changed my life. I bumped into a mentor. And another mentor. And a few more mentors. I found five mentors. And they showed me what they did to become multimillionaires. Again, it’s not just about money, it’s about the good life; health, wealth, love and happiness.

Have you tried r9k?

Jeeze I knew Ted talks have gotten bad but did they really let this faggot speak?
>>1678219
They did
>Christmas is coming
>you want to buy your friend some stocks as a present
>you can...
>buy an overvalued meme stock like Apple or Tesla, which they'll like, but won't yield much profit
>buy a non-meme stock like SouthWest Air or Smith and Wesson, which they may not like, but will probably bring them a larger profit
which do you do?
This is the most pathetic attempt to shill stocks I ever saw on /biz/

Get /biz/ to roll for it?
All on FCX

Is it possible to save for retirement, take out all the money in cash and stash it hidden in your home, then go on welfare?
Make sure your home and cars are paid off first though.
>>1678060
Boy, I sure am hungry! I'm thinking about heading out to McDonald's to purchase a Fillet O fish sandwich, Large fries, and a crisp, ice cold Coca Cola! Who's with me?
It would probably be possible but you'd have to play a long game to get it done. Like many years before retirement, start pulling the money out for "expenses" and other things, then get it down to zero.
Still, it probably wouldn't be worth it, with all the shenanigans and lies you'd have to do for just a few hundred bucks a month.
I own 1400 bitcoins.
Wait tillit is worth 2k and move to poor country.
Analfuck a local woman never work.

Just got a CommSec acnt. Help a fellow auzbro out this Christmas? What cheap stocks are due for a rise?
>>1677934
Good luck on the penny stocks, OP! And remember to take some time out of your trading day to visit your local McDonald's (TM) and pick up your favorite sandwich, Fries and a drink for a little more then an hours worth of work at your local wage station!

How many of you guys do freelance work?
How do you personally deal with unprofessionalism, general stupidity, contracts, pricing, customer retention etc?
who /Entrepreneur/ here?
>>1677922
I'm just starting out and I'm thinking I'm going to just draft a contract that essentially holds any customer's hand and streamlines the process, otherwise I'll be lost in email hell with buffoons
Mostly with bitcoin

I take polaroid pictures of people on the street. Look for groups of young girls, tell them they look amazing and ask if they want their picture taken.
Price is 7 bucks and 9/10 buys one. People love to see themselves on a picture, especially one they will upload to instagram.
On good days I sell around 40-60 photos, mediocre days are around 30 and anything below is a slow day.
We´re 3 guys doing this. Sometimes we drive from city to city where we expect tourists to be or we roam at special events.
I also rent have 3 car drivers who deliver items for people in my city. On top of that some affiliate marketing webstites for passive income.
22 years old, 50k savings so far, been doing business for 2 years.
Buying stuff from aliexpress and reselling at a flea market? and/or online store?
Has anyone had any success with this?
>>1677840
nope
>>1677840
Using this "business" as an excuse to tax writeoff more things than you otherwise would be able to will be more lucrative than any profit you actually make selling the stuff.
>>1677840
i do this. it's not enough money to make a living, but as some beer money it's ok
Hello /biz/,
I'm about to graduate high school, going into college as an Economics major. I eventually plan to pursue a masters (and maybe someday a PhD) in Economics.
While at some point I do want to start my own business (some kind of government financial counseling/contracting), but before that I am of course going to have to be employed by some other companies first.
My question is, what job opportunities are there for someone with a degree in Economics in both the private and public sector?
>>1677835
You should look into pairing something else with Economics. Statistics is good, Information Systems, or Finance. Not that you can't get a job without them but you will be more marketable.
>>1677843
That's good advice. Personal marketability aside, however, what jobs are available to people with any kind of significant college degree in an economics/finance related field (besides wall street)?
>>1677845
Not sure as I don't have an economics degree. A google search would probably answer that question. They are pretty broad so you'd be surprised at the kinds of jobs people get with these degrees.
Anyone here invest in gold?
Do you think its a wise decision?
My friend proposed the idea that we buy gold. Sounds tempting, i mean its better than having my money sit in a bank doing nothing.
>>1677830
Nope.
Invest in your 401k.
>>1677832
Sorry, im australian. Googled it though and i think thats basically what we call our superannuation...probably a good idea to sort it out
gold has been quite steadily going down for the last few years, why do you think it is a good investment?
>absentee ownership allowed
brehs why aren't you buying pizza hut franchises
>>1677828
>having to hire a manager in place
Only worth it if you can bring enough money in, which, one store just doesn't do, even if it's making 2m in rev..
>>1677828
I know the owner of a McDonalds franchise here in Australia. It brings in about $30,000 gross a week. The overheads are huge though
>>1677828
I spent 11 years managing franchises for Jamie Coulter, multi-billionaire franchise owner that later started Lone Star Steakhouse.
I know that you can't live on one store, you can barely live on 5. If you want to make millions off Pizza Huts you need to spend hundreds of millions first.
WTF AM I DOING WRONG?
try trimming your nose hair and wearing a collared shirt for the interview, cuck
