Hi /biz/
I'm an involuntary neet who didn't get inte the uni I wanted. I thought I could take up a job until I apply for uni again, but I've had no luck so far.
I have absolutely zero working experience since I was a lazy faggot in high school and didn't search hard for any summer job and I also lack contacts to make a job happen. I've applied for 30-40 or so jobs and have had 3 interviews, but didn't manage to land 'em.
If anyone wants to share some experiences or tips, I'd be very happy to learn from you.

Do what people actually do at the uni.
Take a subject in the area you want to find a job and write essays on it.
Publish them on wordpress or medium.com

I'm in Sweden, but I can use the equivalent I guess. Is the key just to send a lot of applications? I've sent 30-40 already, but rarely do I get an answer, which I think is cause I got no experience worth anything.

What's my stake in society? I lift weights but can't motivate myself to stop binge eating or work hard in my free time (on programming stuff). I go to the library and cinema to feel less alone but it never works and I go home feeling conned and sad after seeing hot girls I'll never talk to and people enjoying their youths.
If I got a graduate job then at least I wouldn't be a low status cuck but it would be mind numbing and soul destroying.
Life is unfair. Some posh person who goes to a private school is taught to act in an ubernormie way and skates through a zero work arts degree at university. This is the type of person interviewing me when I go to graduate job interviews in London.
This is humiliating and depressing. Who was the con artist that said that work gives any pride ever?
And pop songs played as muzak, which are the anthems of normies. Images of models and celebrities are shown everywhere. These are the people who post Instagram selfies gloating about "Puttin in da #work" when they had everything handed over to them due to their looks.

My father has about 300k to invest. I'm thinking about ways I could help him make money with it. I'm a NEET so I have all my time, I was thinking about buying old flats in some country like Spain, I could go there to help renovate them and sell them for more value. Is my plan stupid? I'm planning on going back to college next year but if I can get something like this to work it would be nice

Its a bad idea, you have no idea about the RE in Spain, dont know the renovation costs etc. If you want to persue this goal, I'd suggest stuying up on it and starting with small investment in your country.

UX/UI designer here. Used to work for a while but then decided to do my master's. I'm living about an hour by car from the next big city (in Germany) and I basically see two options: I could do freelancing from my home office and since I get many emails with people asking me to do some work for them, I don't think I would run out of money. The other option is to get a job at one of the biggest companies in Germany with high payment, not much overwork but 2 hours of commuting everyday.
What do you think is the better way to go? My biggest fear is that I won't earn a lot as a freelancer.

you can earn plenty as ux/ui designer but you're still underperforming unless you get very very lucky. it's much better financially to work at a company for some time and then go freelance after you have a reputation, a couple of assured clients in the bag, and a network of friends and colleagues.

what is a fair price for a UI freelancer? i will need one in a few weeks for a few projects, but don't know what is a fair price. i was planning on using upwork ukranians, as that seemed like a fair compromise on price/quality of qualifications.
depends on your priorities: security or freedom. 2 hour commute is a big deal and can make a big difference to your quality of life, but working in a team might offset that.

It really depends on the skills, experience and location I guess. I would suggest looking on dribbble to find a UI designer as you can directly see their personal work.
