I just purchased my first Bitcoin. Was difficult to shell out that 1.1k pricetag (I'm a poor wagecuck), but I think it'll be worth in the end.

Hi /biz/. Thought experiment.

If you were to want to become self-sufficient and escape the economic struggle as quickly as possible (i.e. acquire enough capital to live off for the next few decades) and you had no ethical qualms about acting illegally (without getting caught of course), how would you go about it? It's clear that those who ignore the law get ahead much faster in life, even if they just start out acting illegaly in the beginning to acquire initial capital. I'm assuming all of us prefer to work alone and from home ideally, so under those conditions some things I can come up with on the spot are: Carding, online extortion, scams (although hard to pull of safely probably), affiliate marketing.

In particular: Can you recommend any literature (without peddling anarcho-crapitalist or libertardian propaganda), advice, sources or other resources relevant to this question? I want to further my understanding of the weaknesses and holes in our economic and political systems.

Anyone here a web designer, or have worked with some before? I'm trying to make a website over here but the fucking thing won't look or act the way I want it to.

How much does it usually cost/how much time did your projects take to be done?

Pic unrelated.

I like your pic so checkout Upwork. Is your website for a business, potfolio or personel use? Wil it need to be changed often? I can make you one for like 100$-200$ if interested reply and well talk with throwaway emails.

My dad and sister are both web developers. They say it takes about a day to build a website. The rest is just maintenance -- posting new articles, data entry, etc.
>>
>>1709182
What do they use for building it?

Rate my AI bitcoin trader. It gets 200% gains year on year without accounting for changes in market price. Predictions are posted here for a limited time. http://35.165.163.141:8177/ Around 6:00 UTC. Prediction dates are for midnight closing prices on that day.

Yeah I ain't clicking that

I should probably mention the predictions it outputs are for price deltas; positive values for increase in price, negative values for decrease in price. Not necessarily 1:1.

Shouldn't have dropped out at 16. I went through a program that gets your GED at 16 so you can start college sooner and passed, but then I moved in with my great grandma and said forget college. She died when I was 19 and had no support from any other family member. Was homeless for almost 3 years.

Yes, buy now.

It will be at $2000 a coin in two weeks, not even memeing. Buy ETH too.

I consider myself a very hard working individual, earning a 3.8 GPA with a dual major and working 3/4ths of it with a part time job. All of my money went toward books and classes and food (and some clothes initially). I won scholarships but spent them again on a needed computer equipment and had an unexpected health emergency. Despite said work ethic and accolades my current unfortunate position in life is not that great. I attribute it entirely to not having the network of family financial support that even seemingly poor people have.

I'll be honest. I am resentful of some of my friends. Their success in life is almost entirely predicated on being subsidized by family members. I wouldn't have a problem with it really if they didn't feign poverty.

Case in point, "Friend 1" :

>lazy
>complains about being a poorfag
>muh mother's a teacher and only makes 30k
>graduates with a 2.9 GPA
>econ major only
>gets over $2000 in "graduation presents" from various family members
>grandparents buy him a whole new wardrobe
>moves to the city to get a better chance at jobs
>unemployed and contract work, unable afford rent
>rent subsidized 100% by grandparents.
>keeps at it for 4-5 months
>lands job at decent bank
>still subsidized

Similar cases with some other friends, especially even simple things like family members paying for expensive clothes and graduation presents.

Here I am, at home. I have zero financial backing from any family member aside from my father currently supporting my NEET lifestyle (he's in dire financial shape) which I am most grateful for and disgusted to be like this. These "friends" are perplexed that I don't have a better job than they do. Perhaps they are perplexed because I am too ashamed to admit to them my true financial standing. How I go out of my way to keep up the appearance of not being poor. I however, am not perplexed, I lay my finger the lack of familial resources as being the reason for my current predicament in life.

>be me
>have no family resources or connections
>no graduation present from anyone (grandmother offer $50 but I rejected it because I know she is in bad shape)
>clothes are all worn and tattered after 4 years of heavy use
>wear a shrunken Express dress shirt +tie and brown worn-out khaki's to interviews
>either abysmally low offers or rejected despite exceeding requirements and having good personality; it was the clothes!
>no one in entire family can spare money for any clothes
>dad feels bad and tries to take me to Goodwill and discount stores
>nothing fits or is too expensive
>vehicle needs inspected
>can't afford that in short-run he needs to save
>get up early, drive him to work on the last two remaining job interviews before getting extremely discouraged.

I help manage my father's finances so I know he is not obscuring how much he is truly making, not that it is my money regardless.

Now, I'm not saying that I will indefinitely be like this; I plan on swallowing my pride and getting a menial $10/hour job for a few weeks just to buy some prerequisite attire to begin hopefully a bright future career. At the end of the day, I still am in better shape because I have a better degree, better GPA and better work ethic than said friends. If anything, this has been a learning experience.

Everyone else I know that is not a NEET was subsidized heavily be relatives, even extended family. I was not (or not nearly to the extent they were). I'm neither looking for pity nor am I looking for advice. I wanted to point out the elephant in the room, the question of Family Resources and how it can create dysgenics by propping up otherwise lazy, unsuccessful people.
>>
>>1708613
>blaming other people for your laziness and failure

This is why you are poor.

You got an Econ degree without realizing the importance of networking? Come on retard. No one cares about your shitty 3.8. There always someone better then you but there is only one you. Be the guy everyone wants to hire because of your personality, your drive, not because you got a 3.8.

Hi, I'm a NEET that I live off various forms of disability income. I'm not allowed to earn more than $1,130 but the Social Security Administration will only know if I'm paid legally. If I work for cash, they won't know.

Any ideas?

Hello /biz/ its my first time here. I am an EU student currently studying CompSci in one of the UK universities. I have 300 pounds to spare every month after taking all expenses into account. My question is how can I use this money on investments? Am I allowed to create an ISA here and purchase stocks?
9 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
If you have a UK address you should be able to create an ISA. To be honest though with your income you don't really need to at this point, and would probably be better off just getting a standard stocks and shared account. They have lower fees and you're not going to benefit from the tax advantages of an ISA.

I'd just buy some index tracker funds through a brokerage site. Hl.co.uk is quite cheap and has a lot of choice. I have done a mix of index funds and other individual picks.
>>
Basically use the website and see it it lets you make an account.

Looking for ideas that can generate revenue with little to no maintenance on a 10 hectare piece of land in Poland near the capital

It was once used as farmland, so the soil may not be of the best variety due to previous usage. Anyone have experience with profiting off of the land? Share some ideas.

My idea is building a solar power plant but thats expensive.

In the US we just rent the land for other farmers to use.

One idea was to buy tree seedlings for around a buck and plant them. After they mature for three years, it'd sell for about 100 or so. This is more of a long-term however.

Interesting idea, although the problem with solar is with the initial investment (unless you plan on manufacturing a signature design) and the storage of the electricity.

How would you even profit off of it? Sell it to some electricity distributing company or distribute throughout your immediate community? I personally wouldnt want some company digging through my land just so they can have an electron pipeline from my place to theirs.
