For the love of ass, please fucking help me. No more meme stocks. Bought DRYS at 6.02, PULM and 2.08 and sold at 2. Been clinging onto DRYS and MSTX. VRN killed me with that bankruptcy bs. My journey has been ass. Help.
Go all in on AMRS.
It will go to 2.00 by end of summer.
And stop stressing dude. I lose and gain literally 1000+ every day.
Be happy you're playing with little money.
Go panhandle on the street, its a very good way to make money.

What makes you say that though?
>"We are in the midst of a shift from being primarily a product economy to a knowledge economy," said NBC business correspondent Ali Velshi. Those without the knowledge aren't participating in it: We don't have a jobs gap. We have a skills gap.
> University of Illinois at Chicago economics professor Lawrence Officer told American Public Media's Marketplace these workers are the "structurally unemployed."
>"Structurally, their industries, their firms have shrunk or vanished, and their skills remain, but they are not easily transferable to other sectors where there's a demand for labor," he said.
>Retraining programs do exist, but compared to countries such as Germany the U.S. lags far behind demand for apprenticeship and retraining programs for displaced workers.
>Those workers with less education can then feel tossed in the trash. And according to exit polls, they voted for Trump
Non-American here. Why isn't there widespread political and business backing for providing free education and retraining for displaced workers in America? Businesses will have a larger pool of workers with skills they're seeking and more people working means more people with money to spend. The government gets happier citizens that pay taxes.
Also, as I understand it, Republicans want to cut welfare and unemployment payments. Why would someone relying on government assistance vote for the party that wants to cut the assistance they're on?

Democrats tried multiple times to pass educational and infrastructure bills to help these people but republicans kept shooting them down.
Why do people vote against their economic interests? Since the 60's republicans have used the Southern Strategy to good effect. Basically, they play on social issues to get people to vote against their economic interests. Bob in West Virginia doesn't know much about international trade, the tax code, or renewable energy. He hears his local GOP candidate rallying against those damn immigrants and Muslims and ignores the fact that tax cuts for the wealthy aren't going to help get his job back.

The U.S is going to war with Iran soon. How do we make money from this?
Will oil go up again, will defense industry stocks go up, will there be a bull camel market?
>>1773399
Defense contractors should see orders going up. Oil prices will go up because of instability.
I'd recommend buying LMT, NOC, and HII. Short Boeing because of its civilian deals with the Iranian government, or just don't invest in it at all.
Invest in Oil ETFs like UWTI, but avoid individual oil companies, especially those drilling in Iran (I think BP has a contract).

Substantiate your claims.

At the very least, you should be buying UWTI. Even if Trump doesn't invade Iran, there's still more volatility in global oil markets.
http://www.hoover.org/research/general-jim-mattis-what-should-we-do-about-iran
Mattis doesn't seem to have much liking for Iran. He wants to enforce the deal, but it's clear Iran is breaking the terms of it.
>To report capital gains with turbotax you must get premier version
>with state return this totals $92 before sales tax
jesus christ do you people actually pay for this
does anyone have experience with other stuff? freetaxusa or letting credit karma do it sounds sketchy as hell so at this point all I can think of is filling it out on paper and mailing it in
>>1773394
Since I do a lot of family tax returns I prefer just to go with TurboTax. Like any good software package it will walk you through everything.
>>1773394
How many capital gain/loss transactions do you have? How complicated is your tax situation otherwise? Estimate how long it will take you to file by hand and decide if saving that time is worth $92. Also, search online for TurboTax coupon codes or see if your bank or brokerage offers a TurboTax discount. I think I get 20% off through Fidelity.

this year a single espp sale
still have to file a full 1040 with schedule d because of it
Why are British economists always the best? Smith, Ricardo, Mill, Keynes
Rest of the world, are you even trying?

Isn't it funny how they never made any real money?
What's the point of being an economist if you don't make millions?
>>1773328
Economists help the world, my friend. They aren't in it to make money.
>>1773331
So why the hell are you posting this on /biz/ ?
We're only gonna make fun of them for their incompetence to apply what they learned in real life and make money.
>sell food at high prices
I mean yeah, I could do that. But I don't want to get lynched and cannibalized by an angry mob either.
Oh no, no lettuce or broccoli? How will I survive without lettuce and broccoli?

>take home ~$1,320 every 2 weeks
>debt free
>have ~$400 left every month after expenses

Should I
A) Cut back on expenses and save until I'm 30 and move to the Philippines or Thailand and die of HIV by 40
B) Move back in with Dad at his cockroach infested trailer park home and go to community college then transfer to Uni for Accounting or something
C) Continue this dreadful life, marry a fat white "country" girl that plays mind games every day, and maybe die from alcoholism in my 40s when every factory job has been replaced by automation.
D) Give up everything now and try to beat the high score at a local mall or concert event.

You have 10 seconds to extrapolate how you spend $2,240 Dollars per month.

are you me?
>>1773238
Damn I want 2640 a month.. I'd be so happy. I have 4k saved up working part time for 8.50/hr.

I'm not sure what your point is. A wooden spoon costs a few dollars, but wood is close to free.
>>1773342
It's kinda funny though I guess.
Kinda like if I said I'll trade a percentage of your real money for half its value in fake money and people actually bought it.
no different than saving money on condom by telling the woman a fake name and giving her a fake number and ditching after you nut deep inside of her to create a child that you will never know but she will be burdened with but will spread your pseudoseed for generations to come unless she gets an abortion which is murder
Why must it tease us..
because a lot of people have guessed that 1k is the ceiling because it's a nice round number

I actually find that comment to be very true
its only going up boys, weak hands are off the train, time for the real investors to ride the moonship
In terms of cash and age, what's the ideal growth rate to insure an early retirement?
rephrase the question
>>1773147
you can retire about 5 minutes after starting a business that employs 1 person.
not coincidentally, this is how almost all early retirees do it.
or do you think people get rich investing?
kek
>>1773147
Anything above inflation.
Growth is just a hedge against inflation. You retire by being frugal and not buying shit you don't need.
Are poor people just retarded? How do you save them?
EVERYONE I ever meet who is chronically poor and demands a higher wage absolutely refuses to manage their money in any way.
"This isn't a living wage! My life is hell!"
>gets $40 take out for three
>gets a couple of $50 cigarette cartons on the way home
>buys $20 of loot boxes in Overwatch
>starts planning expensive dinner when they get their next paycheck
"I'm barely making end's meet here!! Waaah!"
Seriously, I work at target and live pretty comfortably. What is everyone's fucking problem? why can't they stop spending money?
>>1773135
>I work at target and live pretty comfortably
the only difference between you and other poor people is how you choose to spend your meager earnings.
they could just as well ask why you're happy being poor, at least they don't like it. Anyways, the real problem is they realize they don't make shit so there's no point in trying to save.
you on the other hand probably operate under the mistaken assumption that a poor faggot might save his way out of poverty. Which isn't true but you'll understand that in another 20 years. Then you'll be one of the people you complain about.
>>1773138
If someone can blow through their paycheck on worthless shit instead of saving it, they can make ends meet and invest in their future. This is hands down a better option than just throwing your money away.
>>1773138
>the mistaken assumption that a poor faggot might save his way out of poverty
I know many people that could easily, 100% save their way out of poverty with just the slightest effort. I was describing them in my original post, one of them exactly. He literally has my same job and same apartment, but lives in hellish squalor while I live in comfort with a good bit of money saved up.
He blows his paycheck, gets continuously into debts of money and favor, and the cycle repeats like so many others.
I really think that simply saving your money is seriously underrated for the average man.
>didn't buy in ICN like /biz/ was telling me to in September

A few years ago there was a huge boom in softs. The cotton chart looks like the gold chart (and we know where gold is going.)
Thoughts?
Cool, ill check it out

1. find your search bar, it's probably either on your web browser or up your stinking ass.
2. type in "online card processing services."
3. read a few of the results.
>>1773091
thanks anon, none of them work in my shit tier country
>>1773101
ah, my bad then.
so you live in a country where nobody takes credit cards? Because any processor for business probably offers online services by now.
I live in the US and my biz gets 3 or 4 calls A DAY from card processing companies trying to get me to sign up with them.
