never ever bet more than 3% of it.

It's best to not bet at all, but you already know that

why would it be best not to bet at all? If you can consistently bet on value then you will win in the long run. similar to investing in stocks isn't it?

and why 3% as max bet?

is it best to bet the exact same amount on every wager?

These are the types of questions I'd like answers to. If there are any serious gamblers who have had long term success here please respond.

Hi Guys,

Longtime lurker here, please excuse me for this, but my first post is a call for help. So, i just started as a product manager in a small company for locking systems. The offer, or quotation form, we send to the customer is an old excel sheet with Times New Romans etc... I really want to give it more professional look and since the manager, currently, isnt willing to spent some cash on software, do you have any ideas for design- maybe excel template or any kind of free stuff would be highly appreciated!

You want to buy software for a fucking offer?

You can do it in Excel or Word. Sit down and do your fucking job. Google it.

I'm about 3/4 of the way towards graduating with a degree in accounting. The problem is, I fucking hate accounting and finance, so much so that I just quit my last internship. Not sure what to do with myself. Any advice?

Suck it the fuck up and go be some partner's bitch.
You should've thought about this last year. You're way too late to change course unless you're willing to shell out however much money you'll need to get another degree.
>>
>>1789101
I don't want to change course. I've accepted that I will graduate with an accounting degree. The question now is, what do I do afterwards? I won't have any debt. I'm a bigger guy, more accustomed to hands-on work. Should I look into trades or just accept my fate of rotting in an office chair for the rest of my life?
>>
>>1789105
Don't accept it fuck that if you don't like it, maybe try for some other grad job?

>Annual Interest Rate on a SAVINGS Account: 16%

Is this legit /biz/?

This is Bitkong for anyone who is curious.

Someone please explain to me. This can't be right.

>>1788858
I realize this money is completely uninsured and beyond risky to, say, dump my savings into and everything but a guaranteed 16% seems impossible.

What am I not understanding about this? Does anyone know? I'm tempted to invest something small just to find out.
>>
>>1788858

Scam.

People start investing. Money goes up. Website cuts and runs. You lose all your savings.

Anything higher than 5% is too good to be true.
>>
>>1788875
You know where I can get 5% APY on a savings account...?

Also, I was thinking to put in like $50 and just see what happens. It seems like a clear scam or I'm missing something.

It's on one of those bitcoin game sites, Bitkong.

Just finished reading pic related. Anyone else read it?

> Some takeaways
Obviously it's different from the movie (like every book ever). It focuses more on his business mentality, his relationship with his business partners, and his wife and kids.

He valued loyalty above everything. When he hired he didn't care how smart someone was. He cared about 2 things: loyalty and a lust for money.

What was odd was he walked away from the company with about 60 million, and he had business partnerships where he was still making 5 to 10 million a year. yet he was never satisfied, he kept taking drugs till they almost killed him.

And he makes it clear that being short was a sore spot for him and he felt the need to compensate in other ways.

I hated him until I read the book. Yeah he's still a piece of shit, but at least he owned up to everything, admits being a piece of shit, and bared every detail of his life to the world.

Lawyerfags, what are legal books I can read to get a better grasp on legal/law stuff?

Would love to be a lawyer, but I don't have the time to go to school for all that without giving up having a family in the near future

We used the Smith and Robertson book during my Contract/Tort and Commercial Transactions classes.

Honestly though, you're better off hiring a lawyer. The books don't teach you how to research or get access to relevant case law.
>>
>>1788518
>Hiring a lawyer to learn how to be a lawyer
>>
Not gonna happen. Learning the law requires intensive training of your critical and logic skills. In America, the law primary comes from court cases (precedent) not rules printed in some book (code law). 85% of what you do in law school is learning how to understand, apply, challenge, extend, analogize, limit, and interpret the thousands of court decisions that make up common law.

Reading some book is likely to be more harmful than helpful, to be honest.

Hey biz,
I don't know if any of you have your own business, but I'm going through a real pain trying to find a decent manufacturer. Ive done some research and still nothing of real merit. Is there a place to go to find a trust worthy manufacturer. I am at a loss. I'm looking for a knife manufacturer to be exact.
