Why don't employers let people bid on jobs? Like literally give a job to whoever paid them the most money? This would decrease unemployment and simplify the hiring process.
Why would anyone pay to work?
>>1806031
they kind of do already. think about it, they'll never pay you more than they think you're worth to them, only less. how much less depends on how much less you are willing to take. this is discussed in advance and is similar to "giving up" money in order to get hired.
of course you don't always go with the cheapest bid, you judge on reputation, skills, etc.
this should all be sounding exactly like the hiring process.

Who is still buying stocks at these multiples - and why?

Weekly rolling strangles on VXX and SPY to make me retirement money
I couldn't find any reliable information on this anywhere: How much do you have to inherit before estate tax kicks in? I've seen figures as high as 5 million but I'd like to know for sure. Could anyone give me a quick rundown?
Sigh.
Up to three million before estate tax. You can put up to six million in a dynasty trust on top of that, and it can grow to any amount as long as what you initially put in is worth six million or less. That's US though. Then there are loopholes that let you get around that by artificially lowering the value of the assets that you are putting in.
This is all US side though.

I don't get this concept
>Acquire post-tax wealth
>Give post-tax wealth to kids
>Government taxes the post-tax wealth
>>1805976
Double and triple taxation does occur in other areas as well.
I guess to the heirs it can be seen as income and therefore taxable.

Why make it blue chip stock and 20 years in prison?
stocks don't grow that quickly to begin with unless you're insanely lucky o.o
I just listened to chapter 3 and I'm planning on finishing this pretty soon. So far I love the message of becoming obsessed with your goals and things you can do to foster a strong mindset.

If you weren't lazy and actually started working from age 16 and saved $10 each week, you'd have over $7,000

I need to hire some people to do some coding for me. Nothing serious, just some basic python and shit. While I'm at it, I'd probably get them to do some research for me, like finding good prices on shit.
However, I want to stay anonymous. I'd prefer paying with a prepaid credit card, btc or eth.
i can write code for you but i only know Java.
>>1805595
Is there a site you use to sell your services?
have fun fun receiving some easily breakable code that runs and works like shit cause it's made by a street shitter
Are job agencies good places to find work if you have no work experience?
I'm staring blankly at the "experience" part of my resume
In short yes
But what do you want to do?
>>1805596
Preferably some IT type of job, something with computers
And preferably not food service industry
But I'm okay with everything else (manual labour, stocking, warehouse etc...)
I can do sales but I've no prior experience which worries me

Aussie here don't do this country is so unbelievably corrupt every single time something goes wrong with your house 10 times as much fix this includes legal paperwork
I've looked into it, and the only way I see to directly make it work is to rent to people with bad financial skills
>buy house with suite for $150k
>collect $1200/month between the two
it's only people living hand to mouth off paychecks or welfare that pay rent like that
real estate investment trusts seem to make a lot more sense in ability to diversify, economies of scale and you don't have to do anything other than receive dividends
>>1805492
10 times as much to fix?
What do you mean by this?
The materials don't suddenly get more expensive or some shit. I'm confused.
Technical analysis doesn't work.
Prove me wrong.
TA has been around since the 17th century and every investment management firm uses TA to some degree in their work
It is bullshit, but because people use it, it can come true. Self fulfilling prophecy type stuff.

it probably does under some crcumstances, but you wont be profiting off it because u dont have the resources or smarts to stay ahead of the technical analyisis metagame
I live in the UK and want to make a quick bong from the devaluation of the pound which will inevitably follow the actual triggering of the leaving process, is there an easier way of swapping currencies than just going to a bureau de change and changing it to HKD or AUD? is there a way to do it online? any advice?
Fuck off, don't you dare try to profit off this.
Are you even British?
This is basically treason
>>1804838
Probably not worth your while doing this. The PM has already said when she will trigger Article 50 and she has told us her plans of what she wants from the talks. I doubt the pound will go down that much if at all -- there just isn't enough uncertainty.
Cast your mind back a few weeks when she said that we will be going for a hard brexit. Though you might think that would have weakened the pound further, the much-needed information took some uncertainty away and the pound rallied against all currencies (3 per cent against the dollar).
>>1806118
