I'm finishing up my first year at a big state university. Currently, I'm on the path to getting some sort of liberal arts degree (poli sci, economics, history etc.). Am I just wasting my fucking time? I don't enjoy college in particular, and I'm worried my degree won't be worth shit once I'm out. I get straight As, I'm just bored and depressed all the time.

Why the hell would I get advice from fucking failures? I just need some solid information/statistics about the practicality of a liberal arts degree in this day and age. It seems like, depending on the person you ask, it ranges from "completely essential" to "worse than a waste of time". What's the actual reality?

I've been digging into a lot of economics lately and find the field much more interesting than I had imagined.
I love to hear the big name economists debating and interviewing. It's amazing how much and how often economists are in disagreement.

I'm not trying to tunnel vision on a particular range of views, my goal is to hear from the great minds in all schools of thought. I'd be naive to fanboy any of them.
Feel free to share some good names to listen to or particular videos/snippets. I know this thread is a tad off-topic, but i'd think some of you are interested and have content to share.

Don't believe the Austrian garbage although it's popular among /pol/ and /x/ types. Modern economics is a mix of demand-side Keynesianism with supply-side developments since Milton Friedman and other Freshwater economists.

I want to sell beats on YouTube but I'm such a fuck up and I dont even have a laptop. This fucking sucks I would be so happy even if I could just get ten dollars here and there

And on top of that I want a twitter/Instagram/snapchat dedicated to showing previews of my music and people can send me money over snapchat and stuff. Life would be so good and I wouldn't feel useless.

I need like a good producer name or something and I need a really professional feel and vibe to it and I don't know the first thing about selling beats it's just a hobby of mine and I want to do this on top of getting a job so I'm not neet anymore

How are you making beats without a pc?
>>
>>1806195
I'm not I had to stop I'm thinking of saving up for one or asking for one on my birthday. I make beats on my friends laptop but I don't really have a YouTube page going or anything i mostly study it on YouTube and listening to songs though so I don't let myself get out of practice.

Indirectly yes. Neets are a wealthy western phenomenon. Countries that can't afford them will catch up and pass us up.

How many times must you blue pilled warriors be warned?

45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova (2016) light curve and Bitcoin price curve matching exactly like other comet games.

First Sun with muh volume now Earth with muh volume vap0rized.

Better get your Quantum Bucks soon cause hiding in altcoins will not save you this time.

Pick up your jaw cause its on the floor.

What you are looking at is Bitcoin price curve from Oct 2016 to present day overlayed on 45P/Honda-Mrkos-Pajdusakova (2016) light curve chart.

Use your imagination as to what happens next.

Dismal volume and the most populous country in the world out of the picture.

This ends badly.

Your field will soon be close to obsolete due to software development simplifying networking more and more and hardware engineers improving existing hardware. I recommend changing majors.

Who does /biz/ use for every day personal banking? I use BoA currently and while I do most of my banking online I really hate that any time I call for customer service they try to get me to open up more accounts when all I want to do is ask a question about something.

Only real reason I use them is their ATM's are widely available and they were what my parents used growing up and I've been using them since high school.

What do you recommend /biz/?

I am working with another guy to develop an app. I'm on a very tight budget and my biggest competitor has over 90 million in venture capitalist funding. How do I make sure my idea is protected and they can't just take my value proposition and copy it right from the start?

Maybe this is a question better posed for /fa/ but I'll ask here anyway. What exactly is 'business attire'? I've been a retail wageslave my whole life and now it's coming to the time where I've finished half of college and I'll need to go to interviews and jobfairs and the like. What do people wear to those? Where do you buy clothes that are nice but not too show-offish? It's all so new.
6 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>1807831
A suit is what you should wear to job fairs or interviews. You can get one for under 200 bucks if you can tolerate lower quality. This is really just to look good for your networking and interviews and will wear out pretty quickly.
>>
>>1807836
Thank you for your wisdom.

If your job requires a uniform, would one just be better off renting a suit for the interview?

Visiting it I saw people diong dumb ass shit like charging 5 euro to put a padlock on a "love bridge" and send you the key

Yet there are some fags who do professional crap.

Anyone have any experience with it? Is it worth it?

How does corruption work? specially in the private sector?

I worked for a while in a gov institution in my country which is famous for having a great deal of corruption, yet by looking at the people who worked there none of them seemed particularly likely to partake in an act like that.

How do people who want to bribe someone find the "right" person?

Dont they get afraid that they could be called out on it if they try to bribe the wrong person?

Is it really that widespread? you hear about it a lot on the news so you would expect the number of people partaking in it to be low and ever decreasing, yet, it keeps on happening, are people just bad at measuring the risk or is the amount of successful corruption really that high that people are willing to risk it regardless of the huge numbers of convictions?
