Why are people so gullible to pyramid scams?

What does Hypersoc1al even do?
It looks like a (((MLM))) operation farming Instagram activity.
I can't even comprehend how someone could think that would be profitable to come into.

Is it time to sell my liver?
What are my chances of begging on /biz/? or some other place.
Having to pay for your shelter?? What? And having it be a recurring fee as well?
Such an outrage, OP. If only you could have somehow foreseen that there would be expenses associated with this!
Guys pls help a Pepe out.
I don't know what I'm doing, help me out here. Should I sell now? A 216.67% total gain is good for options, right? Will I earn cash if I sell before the 24th of Feb?
Yeah they're in the money and worth 38 cents so you can just sell them and take the cash.
Who gives a fuck about Investopedia simulator.
>>1812906
Looks like you bought a put on AMD at $14 that expires on Feb 24. That means you can sell AMD for $14 on Feb 24.
The option is worthless if AMD is over $14 on February 24 (because you can sell on the stock exchange instead of executing the option). Considering that AMD is already over $14, and it's been trending upwards, I'd say sell it.
Has anyone moved for the purpose of getting rich? I mean just literally moved to some place like LA or elsewhere, and networked your way to riches? I'm considering doing this. Packing up, leaving and trying a whole bunch of different things.
It's why I came to the US, for more opportunity.
>>1812811
Every hipster flyover faggot in the shithole thats LA is doing just that

Don't go to california, generally if you haven't "made it" there already you won't, I see many people persue this and they don't become moviestars. They become people dressed like spiderman wanting $5 for a picture on Hollywood Blvd.
Get something serious lined up before you go anywhere. Don't just go balls deep hoping to meet mr. Right. Get networking online or otherwise with people in your destination now so you have some place to start, some people you know, when you move.
A guy I know did this and lived on and off in a tent in the woods. Turns out things dissolve when people get to a fresh place. They begin to lead new lives that conflict with past lives.

"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

Hi /biz/
Long story short:
I work a part time job, with school in a supermarket where my boss have been cheating me for about 1-2 hours work each month the last many months.
More details:
When I work until 10 in the evening I stay there until 22:15 always but I only get payed until 22:00 and their excuse is because I'm under 18, but I'm not under 18. So when I have four shifts in a month where I close the store I have been cheated for the pay of one hour.
Should I confront my boss or someone higher about this or should I just let it go? I mean it's just one hour pr. month but at the same time it's a lot of money in a year. I'm not sure if it's worth to make a big deal out of this?
>>1812611
approach nicely, if he refuses to acknowledge then just drop it.
leave at 10?
>>1812649
It's annoying for the other worker because then that worker will probably leave later than 22:15 because they would do the things I usually do from 22:00-22:15
As a beginner, where do you buy stocks online?
Poloniex

But that's only for cryptocurrencies right? I'm looking for something with regular currencies.

Why do you budget /biz/?
What drives you?
Paying for my last semester of grad school while renovating the kitchen and bathroom in prep for a move.
Finance takes my mind off suicide for a while until it doesn't
Financial freedom, meng. That's the one and only goal for all of this. Just keep buying income streams.

Hello /biz/
I am an 18 year old wagecuck who made $6,000 last year and am wondering whether I should file a tax return. Or should I not bother? They don't teach this stuff in public schools you know...
dunklefonkers
>>1811790
If you want your refund you will need to file.
>>1811827
Should I file it through a third party like H&R Block?
How long did it take you to actually start making money day trading? Were you having high returns since day one? What are the most important things youve learned?

We've had 10 YEARS of money printing by the government since the 2008 crisis and inflation is STILL low as fuck. WHAT THE FUCK /BIZ/??? I listened to advice from my idols like Peter Schiff, the guys from the Mises Institute and the bitcoin community about QE leading to a full Weimar Republic scenario. SO WHY THE FUCK IS GOLD STILL NOT $300,000 AN OUNCE YET? REEEEEEEEEEE
low oil prices, strong dollar, poor economy because of obama, banks with lots of regulation, unwilling to lend because rates are so low....
Inflation will come by end of year.
Did you hear about the part where inflation/deflation is a tug of war? They printed all that money simply to stave off outright 1930s-style deflation. The velocity of money has been cratering.
When/if the labor force participation rate ever begins to rise and people begin to spend & lend again, grab your gold...
>>1811564
Can you explain velocity of money senpai
I make $75,000 a year at my new job, and am now onto week 4. I work from home, and my bosses are extremely hands off. I "work" roughly from 9-5 Monday-Thursday, and from 9-noon on Fridays.
Compared to my last job, I'm being given very little to do - mainly just meetings and then about 10 hours of true work. I'm getting a ton of praise for how efficiently and accurately I'm working.
This all sounds great, I'm mainly just sitting at home watching ESPN or playing videogames, waiting for emails to come in. But I feel like my skills might get rusty if I keep this up, and that it might make it hard to ever re-integrate into a more traditional office setting, when I'm basically working 30 hours a week right now.
Should I keep surfing this low effort gig as long as I can, or look to pursue something with greater stakes and potentially more career growth?
>>1811069
What industry are you in?
Give been gifted a great job.
Instead of looking to bail on this job, find something that allows you to work this job and another one at the same time
Imagine if you were able to get another job like this and work them both at the same time.
You could essentially double hour income with only a small increase in hours
>>1811079
this
I also work from home and my employers seem to have forgotten about me
I've been thinking to open a cafe on the side...
What is the best online community of successful entrepreneurs? Biz is full of shitposters and kneepad memes. Nobody here knows shit, its just one massive waste of time circle jerk. Nobody here actually expects to work hard for riches. When was the last time yall read a book? I want to spend time on a forum where business and finance is discussed without the 14 year old robinhood cucks. Fuck.
>>1809629
I'm absolutely certain with 100% conviction I know far more about what I specialise in for income than you do kid.
Fuck off back to /b/
