> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

Okay /biz/ I need some advice.
I have £9,273.29 in an ISA
I have 0.25 BTC
and I have £2,748.61 in my bank account
I'm an 18 year old neet that just quit my shitty wagecuck job with no expenses because I live with my parents. I've watched my dad buying stock and dealing with various investments my whole life so I'm pretty familiar with everything, but I want to start making some big $$$. He goes for low risk, high yield long term investments, but that's boring af. I'm looking for some risky high yield investments that can potentially make 20% in a couple days. Can you guys point me in the right direction? What sort of stock should I be going for?
Keystone XL. Enough Said.
>>1820679
*low risk, low yield
holy shit I'm fucking stupid
>>1820679
Before you start investing, you need some quality protection for joint cartilage, especially knees.

Any thoughts regarding Snapchat IPO?
>>1819756
the next Twitter
>>1819757
Or Tumblr.
Snapchat is grossly overvalued. Getting clear face information is godsend for a lot of companies, however. Hence all the desperation to copy them over at Facebook.
>>1819773
Tumblr has a stock?
What's the best (or most cathartic) way to celebrate a firing? A particularly nasty coworker of mine is about to be fired.
Context: we work fourty-something hours doing QA at a software company and he's been caught embezzling and faking his results. He is universally hated among the office for his "just kidding" racist jokes and terrible BO.
Do you recommend I buy piñatas for the office, or just moonshine?
>>1819649
i recommend r9k, or ck if you want to ask what food you should buy.
>>1819653
Thank you, Anon. I'll do just that.
>>1819649
>terrible BO
>bots
>colluders
>rigged
>high rake
>everyone solid
Yet I still make $300-$500 a month on pokerstars playing 10nl.
Poker thread btw, post hands, lets talk stat.
>>1818249
Pic is from a bot?
does this mean anything?
>>1818908
No it's from analysis software called cardrunners ev, used for finding gto solutions, to slow to use in game and most rooms have it as banned when running inplay.
>>1818932
What do you think it means? American online poker is dead atm, can't see it changing, not much freedom in that country, you can move somehwere like Vietnam to play though lol.
Do normal people usually shell out 5k USD or more for a less than decent engagement ring? I get by pretty decently with my wages, but buying an ring of this price seems preposterous! I ring with a shiny rock doesn't seem like something I can monetize or that will have much ROI.
How can I cut the costs so I can get hitched?
I paid 1k. It's just engagement why blow so much. Lol don't think you will get roi but who knows
Having a partner that understands that 5k can buy a decent kitchen instead, helps.
>>1816355
Could you just fool your fiancee? Tell her the ring is worth more than it actually is.
Memes aside, just how can you people stand it? Don't you ever feel the need to killing yourselves working day in and day out for shit pay for an ungrateful boss? Considering that life is too short and after that its over for good, I really want to understand what goes around a person's head when they willingly enslave themselves in debt slavery for someone who does just 0.01% of the work you do but takes home x1000 the pay.
>>1816300
r9k knows, you should go there.
Depends on the work, I used to work for a mail courier and while it was depressing as shit, it's needed work and helps the average person out.
I work in public transport so I usually get up two hours earlier and take all the other commuters to their work.
I prefer job security over the high risk high reward lifestyle of my bosses.
I'd like to discuss what everyone's favorite monthly passive income stocks are. Whether they are ETF's, regularly traded everyday stocks, or just some hidden gems you have found while trading.
>This isn't for the lazyass who just wants to put money away and forget about it.
Actually trying to build a portfolio for when you retire that way you aren't deadass broke living off Social Security payments of 350$ a month.
>>1816029
CEFL, CLM, MORL, MRRL, WHLR
keep an eye out for ORC it just dropped and will probably cut divi and drop more. If so start buying that shit hand over fist.
Theres also
ETJ, PSEC, OAKS, ARR.. I don't hold these but i am currently watching for a drop to get in.
>>1816036
I will certainly keep an eye on these! Thank you for the info it really is appreciated.
>>1816029
Check out DGRO. Its holdings are weighted by dividend instead of market cap. Very neat ETF.
Bought 100 shares of WEED at 12.70, within two days fell to 11.70.
Apparently the TSX as a whole had a significant drop on thursday/friday of last week. Did i miss the WEED train or is it expected to recover?
https://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2017-02-23/ban-on-recreational-marijuana-to-be-enforced-white-house-says
tl;dr: you're a dumbass
>>1820719
What does that have to do with a Canadian company distributing Canadian products within Canada, traded on a Canadian stock exchange?
nah it's gonna recover dw, there should be a big run up in the whole canadian marijuana sector leading up to 4/20 because it's rumoured that Trudeau will announce pot legalization on that date
http://www.dw.com/en/would-frexit-mean-economic-disaster/a-37680111
>>1820109
>frexit
Not happening
>>1820109
Would it?
France still is still somewhat big market.
If Le Pen would get elected France would go back to frank from €uro as well - that might be a problem but I don't think Frexit would be completely disasterous
>>1820114
>Brexit - "Not happening lol"
>Trump - "lmao not gonna happen"
Just graduated from a useless degree, how the fuck does one "get a job"
>>1819770
>Step 1: Have a useful degree
>Step 2: Write a great resume due to your useful degree and years of internships
>Step 3: Send out lots of applications
>Step 4: Pass Phone screens without sperging out
>Step 5: Pass in-person interview and obtain offer
>Step 6: Negotiate your salary
6 easy steps, anon. Anyone can do it.
>>1819770
If you have a technical degree, it works like this:
* Create a LinkedIn account
* Pick from the many companies who try to recruit you.
>>1819770
What is this useless degree you have?
Thoughts on fiscal conservatism. Is fiscal conservatism a viable economic policy in the age of government mega-spending?
>>1821183
Have you lived during the Bush era?
>>1821250
If you think GW was a fiscal conservative then you need to do some research
>>1821183
but why post a picture of reagan with fiscal conservatism?
What advice would you give a person who has just landed an office business job? How did you get promotions and defeat competition to get to where you are?
Just bee urself
Read the 48 laws of power.
Also the innovative or smartest people don't get the promotions. The employees that just kiss ass and comply are the ones that stick around and get the promotions.
I'm gonna keep this quick and simple: I'm a fucking idiot and I want to invest some capital in something low-risk like a mutual fund. I barely even know what a mutual fund is.
I've got somewhere around 5,000$ USD to invest, and maybe a couple thousand in gold which my dad sunk money into because he thinks the US economy is going to collapse.
I don't want to think about this, but I still want to know that I have a safe approachable option for investing something somewhere. Investing in anything seems a hell of a lot better than just letting my money sit in my paypal account.
Any thoughts?
buy some exxon (xom). it will go up, eventually. pays a nice dividend too.
>>1821146
No
OP look into index funds or if your job has a 401k then ask about the stable value fund.
>>1821146
I don't think you understand, I'm a FUCKING idiot. I don't frequent this board. I have absolutely no idea if exxon is doing good or bad financially and I don't even drive a car these days. This could be bait and I wouldn't even know.
I don't even have a stock trading account, I don't really know when to start. From my very limited research I did years ago it seems like Scottrade was pretty good but idk.
