What is it that makes successful people successful? Is it just luck?

Arnold wanted to be a body builder, and became the best of all time.
He wanted to become an actor and was, in his prime, the highest paid actor of all time.
He wanted to become a politician and he became governor of California, the highest position he could conceivably hold.

How do we get to be successful like this?

Arnie had the genetics and drive to be the best

You can't just wake up one morning and obtain this no matter how hard you try

Arnie also thrived in his bodybuilding and alpha male acting career in a time before all white men were vilified.

How many Rambo / predator / commando movies are there today? The Jews are busy pushing the strong womyn / benevolent nigger / evil white man meme
>>
>>1825951
You don't, you need to manage your expectations. Everyone has the capacity to be successful but everyone's peak is also determined by what >>1825968 /pol/tard said minus the "um a victim rehetoric." For every Arnold there's millions who don't "make it."

Just try to make progress every day and you'll find success.

Banks: ~8% for TDs > 1yr; 0.5% extra for senior citizens.
Others (companies, etc.): variable; I've heard of 11% from a finance company, and 1.5%-2% per month from a local lender (more akin to a loan shark; he charges 0.5-1% over what he pays out).

Can New Zealanders not invest in the S&P 500? Just open a foreign investment account and buy total US stock market. Or would it be taxed to shit?

Assuming you're asking bc you did or are considering it. You won't regret it as long as you are proactive about your schooling and finding internships, etc.--which isn't always easy admittedly.

>Look at bank account
>It is time to kill myself

I'm new to investing, and feel like I'm about halfway to knowing what the hell I'm doing.

I'm planning to make my first stock purchase shortly, and am reasonably confident I've made a good choice. Without asking for a specific review of my choice, is now a good time to buy firearm stocks?

My thinking is share prices are down, because sales are down now that people aren't panic buying guns for fear of the US presidential election going the other way. So the stock price is down, but gun companies have at least 4 years of a smooth regulatory environment, leaving plenty of time to grow.

Does this make sense?

I almost think it's better to just buy used guns rather than gun stocks.

POO level saturated

I dont want you to feel bad about yourself, but if you're studying comp sci in the west and are planning to work for someone else - you're in for a big surprise. 80% of the work is CRUDs, that Indians and Filipinos are happy to do for $500/month. Comonly employed by banks, oracles and other it shops. Can you compete with that? If not, your only choice are real software companies - Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, etc.. but the competition is FIERCE. And even if you do get in, you have to keep running faster and faster, an average SDE lasts in Amazon only 2 years.

Moral of the story - if you're studying Comp Sci, you better be working for yourself, and employing the 3rd world, not competing with millions of Pajeets and homegrown Tommies, Chans, Ranjeets and Sergeis.

I thought those nerds were suppose to automate the world by now. The amount of times I've heard "psshh I could automate X job if I wanted" is astounding. You shoulda seen the thread on /g/ yesterday, trying to trade stocks. Trying not to trade too much because those $7 commissions were too hard their margins.

lamo

this is why I didn't go to school for it

So lets say you have company A and company B. Company A wants to buy company B.

Company A has 5 shares outstanding, Company B has 5 shares outstanding.

Company A wants to own/control company B. Lets say the shareholders get together and decide that company A will sell its assets and liabilities to company B for 10 shares of company B (fresh issuance).

After all this is done, Company A now owns 10 shares of Company B or 10 out of the 15 total outstanding shares (66%) and now has control of company B.

Company A technically has no assets/liabilities on its books anymore except for 10 shares of company B which give it de facto control of company B.

What would this type of deal be named? Is this ever done in the M&A world?

Freedom of speech is not a value in American society? Is 4chan's administration wants totalitarism? If so, then we all need a new platform for anonymous exchange of free information.
Because first thread was putting trolls into shit, I repeat it. Any constructive criticism is welcome!
In the picture you can see three of the magnet located to each other the same poles. The boundaries of the magnetic fields of the outer magnets grab the pole of the middle magnet, but do not interact with each other. The gears transmit the torque to the other magnets. The average magnet will rotate the whole system by changing its polarity. There is the effect of "crazy" compass that never stops.

The second option. Stick pressure turbine on one axis with a rotary turbine of Tesla. Seal the system, except for inlet and exhaust nozzles. The pressure inside the system depends on speed of rotation of the turbine discharge. The rotation speed of the discharge of the turbine depends on the turbine of Tesla, which is determined by the pressure. Just need to spin system at time enought to create pressure within the system above atmospheric. Or create enought pressure.

Requires experimental checking of these two projects. The projects free. You bear the risks only during the inspection (small and cheap).
No one has a monopoly on these technologies. By definition, stolen from me (in case of judicial proceedings). You are spreading these technologies around the world.

It can be used to develop any of the motors (generators). Can do automotive engines, aircraft... Industrial power generators for individual use. Time to take care of the environment, Yes!

Ah! I'm forgot! These ideas are not the intellectual property of the principle! AND NEVER CAN IT BE!

gear takes away energy

also tl:dr
>>
>>1825497
Are you suggesting that with 3 magnets glued to cogs you have the end-all source of infinite energy?

Also, with the torque needed for most industrial purposes your materials are guaranteed to fucking break.
>>
>>gear takes away energy

The mass of the gears takes energy. And friction. But if the magnets are strong enough it will not have.

Why the fuck do people keep coming on here and talking about wageslave jobs?

This is /biz/. For business owners, entrepreneurs, and the financial and economic topics that surround it.

No one cares about your £12 an hour cuck job or how you hope you'll get promoted into another position that still makes you some boss's bitch.

Where do they keep coming from?
