Ok, so I think I can decipher what he said.
>I have very generous implicated implementation into the stock market.
I have a decently large sum of money that I want to place into the stock market.
>Personally me individually I've been living enthusiasm life concentrated not uncomplicated.
For most of my life, I've focused on things I enjoy, rather than making money.
>I had extinction to do to consciously live off but now I want to reach the eventual conditional stock market form.
I always knew I wanted to grow my wealth so I could retire and live off the funds, and I want to utilize the stock market for this purpose
>Maybe its circumstance maybe not, but I know that stock market wedge to me like smegma on dick.
Ok, so for this one, I am not sure, but I think it is something long the lines of "However, I don't want to get stuck in a bad situation with the market and get fucked by a metaphorical smegma covered dick"
>My prevailing situation right now is a considerable but enormous stock like this gargantuan. I want to know /biz/ assessment opinion about the stock market.
I really want to get into the market, but the markets seem to be at an all time high, thus I want to know what /biz/ thinks of the stock market.
>Please fill thread with vital information about the stock market, maybe even your own experience.
Please leave some helpful info, so I can start learning, and if you have any personal experience, I'd love to hear about that as well.
>Thank
Thank you in advance for the help.

Okay, currently reading the book Investing for Dummies
Also reading investopedia. Any other recommendations?
Okay lets say i start off with €2000
Transactioncosts are €2 to buy and €2 to sell.
What would you do?
Also correct me if i'm wrong.
Okay lets say i bought 2000 in Netflix stocks today at 09:30 for $141,70
And i sell it at 13:30 for $142,44. This would be an 0,52% increase.
Does this mean that 2000*0.0052 = €10,40
Minus the transactioncosts = 4
This leaves me with a €6,40 profit?
Is this like the basic of all the trading?
>>1809988
Pretty much, That's why most people sub 25k shouldn't bother with day trading. Then again, profit is profit.

Just to also add on to what this anon said:>>1809997 day trading works on these small changes and to make the cash made significant, you need to have a large amount so that these fees are spread out over more units. If you are playing with a small amount, you will either put it in a longer term investment and keep adding a little from a paycheck each month, or you are willing to risk it all in higher leveraged and/or riskier outcomes, aka forex, options, pennystock, etc. which if they go well (often they don't) can turn out larger actual worthwhile sums of money from a small starting amount. This is the whole idea of the robinhood threads. People are playing with memes through these pennystocks using throwaway money on the off chance that something explodes in value and their money 2x/3x/4x/10x over night. Also, robinhood has no commission, so it doesn't eat away at the money in these small accounts.
Now as to how would I start? It's hard me to say. I trade options a little because I wanted to take on larger risk in order for my small amount of money to push out a decent value. Would I recommend it? Maybe, but only if the person I was recommending it to understood the increased risks and had the emotional stability not to get swept up in big gambles. It might be better to start with stocks, maybe do some swing trading, then bring in these other tools to assist in the trades as times goes on. Or if you just want a vehicle to increase wealth a little bit over time at a rate better than a bank savings, you can buy into ETFs or Index Funds and just leave the money in there.
I have a decent paying job in college and I'm planning on saving up anywhere between $500 to $1000 before I start investing. I'm planning on being speculative. Wat do, /biz/?

Can someone tell me the point of having a UBS account over other accounts? Lately I'm seeing a lot of people I interface with who have UBS accounts, even those who I don't assume are into investing at all.
ok marketer shill ill bite
UBS seems like an absolutely terrible place to have a brokerage

So how did you amass your fortune /biz/? Did you invest in Maneki Nekos?
I murdered my father and burned everything he owned to the ground. Then I fucked my mother, aunt, and daughters.

How volatile? MU about to blow out earnings and have improved guidance in a month. Expecting guidance increase for current quarter March 2nd or 9th. Recent dip on UBS's bs report excellent buying opportunity.
How would I go about being the person who connects graphic designers to clients. Like some what of an "agent" if you will and what would be good websites to get started on finding clients?
>>1809687
I work at a web design company and we get this idea at least three times a day. Both from people who want to set up something like this, and from people who want us to pay to get clients. We always turn it down.
If you're really serious about this, come up with a unique concept, make it simple, make it as free as possible (I understand you still need to make a profit), and count on at least $100.000 for marketing. Which you'll probably never earn back.

First time posting in biz.
how do you guys deal with financial hardship while chasing your goals? I feel like reading through these threads i see a thousand ways to reach financial freedom. I believe in investing in myself rather than saving, but with so many people that have made it to valhalla having different opinions it can be confusing.
My question in a nutshell is: what are your top 3 habits that help becoming financially independent?
ez pz tbqh
My opinion, you need to have a good reason, a 'why', to chase your goals. Without that, you'll put things off and won't really get anywhere.
Anyone a teacher or used to be one?
Were you transferred to different learning centers before you found an actual school?
When were you able to make the request for your location and how long did it take for the position to confirm?
NYC public school teacher here
I don't know what you're talking about
Did you try calling the school?

HOUSING.
Anyone here work in a housing/property maintenance/related field? Be interesting to get a dialogue going about ideas, improvement, operational strategy and pitfalls etc.
I work in a UK based housing association, maintenance department manager.
>>1809384
I work in the U.S.
We took most of our real-estate laws from your side of the pond.
What do you want to know?
I used to work in planning m8, and me and my bruvva are putting a bid in on an old house down saaf.
I think the optimal strategy for doing this is to pick a house that is reasonably old and run down but without any serious structural defects. Those are what eat into your budget and, most importantly, take too much time, because if you're doing it yourself it will take a fucking age and if you're getting contractors in you'll start to lose money fast.
The key is to do a cosmetic job, not to fuck around with excessive structural works. You have to consider "added value" at all times. I really do think that there is so much superficial value to properties. Choppy haired estate agents are definitely not immune to the psychological impact of a house looking clean, well decorated and well maintained, so it would appear that this is the easiest way forward if you want to play this game.
The biggest gains are to be had with properties that are closer to the average house price as in this range, demand is inelastic.
It's good that you're in maintenance, you'll have a decent idea of pricing it. It will also help if you are friends with a building surveyor as they will quickly identify if there are any major structural defects, like roof sag, that would just fuck you over.
