Just getting and started into stocks and i want to get into stocks with weed companies because when that shit is legal on a federal level it is going to be poppin. any tips before i get started or best place to get started?
first thing you need to know about stocks: the value is determined by anticipation, not current assets.
pretty much anyone who was going to buy weed stocks has already bought weed stocks, and the price of them is currently extremely overvalued.
you can still buy them and you may still make money, but don't expect for the stock to shoot up 1000% the day it's legalized, as everyone is already aware this is going to happen.
so currently their prices are pretty high and might not be worth getting them right now

"It's the latest chapter of the long, documented saga of Reddit censorship against various forms of political speech over the past several years. In a humorous development, Reddit's admin team has been caught censoring posts using the term "Rothschild.""

How will Ryzen's unlimited clocking and prediction AI change the CPU-only cryptomining market? Will Monero increase in price?
>>1818220
>unlimited clocking
where the fuck did you get that bullshit?
>>1818251
oh nevermind i get it it's not unlimited but unlocked. this means you are free to cook your cpu at will if the motherboard supports it. does not remove any practical limitations.
also you call a neural network an ai? seriously? you gonna give it a name too?
So, i think i know /biz/s opinion already (from "if you have the money to do that, just trade stocks" to "RETAIL IS DEAD") but i'm curious to see what a bunch of desperate NEETs think about the prospects of opening a physical shop, lets say a bookshop, lets assume i'm not retarded and have an online presence.
Now i'm aware i could just get a little unit and become a purely online seller, or even just sell via amazon - but i guess i'm a little old fashioned, plus romantic, i just feel physical shops offer a valuable experience, and i do think a lot of people enjoy a more tactical experience still.
>>1818197
From /biz perspective? Money sink.
But hey, if you think you would enjoy it...
>>1818197
If you can generate a business plan, and really think you understand the market and how to come out ahead, good luck.
Making isn't really for me, and neither are customers, so it's just not my interest. Not a NEET, successful robot.
book stores are probably going to be an impossible brick and mortar option in coming years, they've been shrinking and vanishing since internet became mainstream, just like blockbuster, music/record stores, and postal shipping.
probably not a good idea to jump into a market naturally dying due to advancement in technology. I'd say the same thing to someone wanting to open a newspaper business
But that's just my two cents.

If it's a state job, somewhere eon the civil service site you should be able to find a range. But...don't count on it being right because there's a huge variance between some departments.
Considering buying property in NYC. How's the market? Undervalued, fair value, bubble... how are prices? Have done some research, but sources are conflicting.

That ship has sailed. Look elsewhere for real estate gains. All the neighborhoods within 30 minutes of Manhattan have been bought out and are becoming fortresses of highrise developments. Queens and downtown Brooklyn have been colonized by the Chinese. You're basically left with either living in Flatbush and getting raped by a pack of niggers or living in some bumfuck area like fucking Staten Island or Oakland Gardens.
>>1818034
I don't know why this made me laugh so much
Just buy property at Hudson Yards. Already expensive as fuck, but that entire complex is going to absolutely moon and has the potential to become a world-renown tourist attraction
>>1817960

How difficult is it to start a programming career? I only have some experiences with python and HTML. A tertiary qualification seems like too much of an investment in time and money, is there any volunteering equivalent jobs in programming where I can gain CV-worthy experience?
t. jobless fuck
Take an online class in penetration testing/ethical hacking. There is a good one for sale RN on Make Use Of.
>>1817834

Learn Excel inside and out and some report automation, and you'll make twice as much and your career won't dead end at 'senior programmer.'

> is there any volunteering equivalent jobs in programming where I can gain CV-worthy experience?
Pretty much any open source project. Best case they take your code. Worst case you write a helping library, fork their code, or start your own project.
If you can get the motivation to do that, you'll do alright
