Is Deutsche Bank a buy?
I'd say it's too big to fail and the German government would bail it out no matter what happens to it.

Also,
>Of the two analysts surveyed by Reuters Estimates that cover Deutsche Bank AG, the consensus rating is an underperform. The rating changed on July 29, 2016 when it was downgraded from a hold.
>Deutsche Bank AG has a net profit margin of -4.52%. Besides being negative, it is also below the industry average and implies that this company is not effective at turning revenues into bottom line profit.
>Net income grew by 11.12%, year over year, to a loss of (U.S.)$1.36 per share during the most recently completed quarter. This was among the weakest growth seen in this industry.
>Shares have underperformed the S&P 500 by 17.38% during the last year.
So under priced now.
Should be double the price of Gold.
Better get some before Federal Reserve 2.0 cryptocucks buy it all.

Is marketing a good place to go into for a field? I want to do something business for a career but I have no idea what i'd want to go for, marketing sounds cool but im not 100% sure on it.
I'm looking into marketing too. The market looks pretty saturated though
>>1853205
I feel like anyone could use promotion of some sorts so I cant imagine it being that saturated to an extent.
/biz/, how do I make money sitting at home in front of my computer all day? Some ideas include: dropshipping, blogging, day trading. What other ways are there. I only need 25k/year.
>>1853150
Alright, get this
For about 5$ you can get some grade-A chapstick, and about 200$ you can get a ticket to Vegas (coach)
Once in vegas, go to the strip, apply the chapstick, and start sucking cocks.
Now don't scoff, it's a profession, the oldest one in fact
You'll have to outcompete the locals, so you may have to offer cut-rate prices (about 2$ a blowjob, and it usually entails a bit of beating)
Assuming it takes you about 5 minutes to make a John climax, that's about 90 cocks you can suck a day, or about 180 dollars under-the-table (booya!)
So, using this strategy, you will net 25k in approximately 139 days. But wait, you need to get chapstick every once in a while, about a week or so, so it'll be approximately 140 days.
That gives you nearly 7 months of free-time with your money
Take a trip to the bahamas, because you've earned it (don't worry if you do some work while you play! ;])
>>1853171
A few problems with that:
1. I can't do it in front of my computer
2. Prostitution is illegal
3. The risk of contracting an STD is too high
4. It's hard, humiliating work.
5. My appearance is not conducive to making good money for this type of work

Is there anything preventing me from walking around downtown in a sandwich board with TVs on both sides advertising different things?
possibly self-respect and a healthy ability to feel shame?

People will probably harass you/throw things at you. And minorities might attempt to steal said
TVs.

What were your experiences trading forex?

>deposit money to some shady sandnigger company
>download application to trade with

>start trading
>see a wicked spike
>SELLSELLSELLSELL
>"due to the high volume of transactions this transaction has been delayed"
>screen frozen for fifteen minutes
>lag spike finishes
>screen refreshes, now I'm in the hole for $800+-
>log off
>never again
>Spot traded
>Either lost money or made money
>Made more than I lost most days
>Quit because the anxiety kept almost making me shit myself
2014: lost $800
2015: broke even
2016: made $2000 from $5000 in 90 days
I quit after that. I had a lot of bad trades due to mistakes (both technical and psychological) in the first year, i mostly figured those out the second year, and last year I started trading macro stuff instead of trying to scalp.
I made $500 of the $2000 on election night.

I can't pick a major and I'm already going into my sophomore year. I've done 1 year of business classes so far
please tell me how you figured out what you want to do. is this my ADHD holding me back?
>>1852859
Major in whatever you enjoy, anon. It's not like your job is going to have much to do with it. Just make sure you can program and Excel monkey around.
>>1852859
It's not ADHD
It's a lack of passion.
We weren't born this way.
Our parents' generation had very little information they could access. They never had all the facts.
They learned more than what school taught only about what they liked because they had to pursue the information.
We've been bombarded by information since we were 0.
The world is shouting at us from every direction and we let it.
We don't always outright acknowledge it since it is happening constantly.
This is also why our gen is so needy. When the constant yelling and bickering is quieted by adventing into the woods or even taking a day off from tech all together, we realize we aren't constantly being told we are needed or that our actions are necessary for something.
The happiest people alive are away and disconnected from the discombobulating whir of the world around us. They staked out their little territory and learned to make the most of it.
We have literally had our drive beaten to death by being yelled at to do everything.
>>1852930
That's absolutely beautiful and you should start writing a book. God damn anon.
Im trying to decide what i want to specialize in. Im an ivy grad stem major who spent a few years working at a ski resort out west, and im tired of making 10 dollars an hour. I was always good at biology/health science type fields so i am considering becoming an xray tech or maybe an ultrasound tech and using that to get into medical school. Im also good at numbers/math though, so im also thinking about getting a masters of finance. What is your advice guys?
>>1852858
I think you should keep working at the ski resort. Seems comfy. There are more important things than money, senpai.
You're really an ivy grad and a stem major? Then what the fuck man, just apply to entry level research or business gigs and youll be a shoe in. Unless you went to [spoiler]cornell[/endspoiler]
>>1853039
Give me a better idea of the business gigs? You mean like apply to a bank?
Could I become a bum pimp?
hear me out...
I live in the seattle area, I was thinking about hiring ppl on Craigslist for $15/hr to be professional bums.
what couldn't go wrong?
You could, but you'd have to provide some sort of incentive to them. Otherwise, why wouldn't they just be their own bum and take the lot?
>>1852852
$15/hr steady income
>>1852946
If they're earning more than $15 an hour bumming, then they don't need you. If they're earning less than $15, you're losing money. Lose-lose.
You jelly biz?
You jelly.
Shit, if you made that amount with some type of "online business", then I salute you. I've only lost money on any of that shit, so I'd be stoked to come out fifteen cents ahead of the game.

I've done my fair share of online marketing but, right now, seems like developing web-based software (often called SaaS) is a great opportunity.
- identify a problem without a solution
- create the solution
-easily scaled up
- still pretty much virgin territory, a lot of opportunities
Has anyone done this or thinking about it? Let's get some discussion going.
>>1852697
I actually am working on my second SaaS. Same niche. Just got out of start up phase. Probably going to crowd fund for marketing $ since my partner is scared to fund advertising.
>>1853371
Pre nice to see this thread, started one myself with no luck. My SaaS from last year made just over 6 figs, paid myself a modest salary. AMA

Please nothing too technical, I want to work my way through the ideas and terminology.
I've read Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsay, and Rich Dad/Poor Dad, both had interesting ideas - but I wasn't solid 100%, interesting ideas though.
