"If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it."
-J.P Morgan The God

No, it just means you want to know the price before handing over money.-Logical people
>hey mr morgan u want this nice watch
>sure
>here u go that'll be...
>I don't care about the cost since I can afford it!
>oh ok
>send him bill for 100 trillion dollars

J P MORGAN ON SUICIDE WATCH
So for those who still have half a brain and know it's a bubble, what's a good position to enter a short on eth? (early eth investor here so btfo with your religious propaganda)
Current price is overvalued beyond reason and that's clear to anyone who knows the subject, yet I have a feeling the hype is just starting and we could see a 80+ bubble before the drop.
Leveraged faggot cant just buy and hold. 500% gains per year isnt enough?
>>1863058
You are retarded. ETH was never just some random coin. It's almost on par with BTC on innovation. Why else do you think coinbase went through the trouble of adding it to their exchange.
https://www.coinbase.com/what-is-ethereum
Educate yourself.
But to answer your question, it's more likely it will go to 100 before popping seriously. It has some very similar patterns to bitcoin if you see the times where it was priced at 30 per BTC.
>>1863058
Here you go, because you are probably too stupid and lazy to do it yourself.
PROBLEM
So I told my dad about ETH and that I was thinking about buying it.....
And he was basically didn't understand it and thought it was some kind of scheme...
And he was like "you're not buying it until you have a job"
The problem is, he can see all of my transactions on my card, so he would know if I bought it. So essentially he barred me from buying it. Is there a way around this? Or some way to mask it on the statement so that he can't see I purchased it?
Is it your dads money or yours? Time to have a talk with daddy about why paternalism doesn't work in states or in families
>>1863055
He's right.
Stop thinking you can get rich off of shitcoins
Maybe you should apply for a job?
Which field has the most opportunity after college in your opinion and why? Computer science, petroleum engineering, or mechanical engineering?
>>1863021
petroleum
computer science degree is worthless even at the phd level
what the fuck is mechanicaql engineering?
I'm currently moving to petroleum engineering but hard finding good schools in canada
>>1863021
Petroleum has the highest salary potential, cs is the easiest to find a job with.
The sellers are piling up and the buyers are dwindling. Better get in before you have no one to sell to. Any other bubble immune people feel free to post your profits. Bagged 2k myself.
>>1863006
Shorting is dumb. Just buy something you like, keep it safe in a wallet, and wait for it to double.
>>1863006
So I've been wanting to do some simple day trading on Bitfinex. As far as I can see all I would have to do is buy once a day and sell once a day after it increases by at least 1%
Is there some catch that would prevent this strategy from working? Does it just become unmanageable at higher and higher amounts?
>>1863038
Unless you've hooked up APIs and are doing it programmatically, it'd be a pain in the ass to sit and watch it. Especially if you sell at 1% increase then see a 10% jump a few minutes after.
How do deal with overally aggressive coworkers?
I know we always discuss money but what about the inevitable shitty coworkers?
Currently dealing with a coworker who is about 20 years older than me and been in the industry a lot longer than me. Obviously, has a lot of practice being a dick. Always throws everyone under the bus to elevate himself. Upper management doesn't seem to pick up on it.
How do you deal with people like this? I won't be able to out maneuver him as he has more experience and isn't an idiot.
>>1862903
Bump
That's easy: you set them up and make sure that they never know it was you. Whether it's a massive case that you present to HR with documented incidents proving a pattern that escalates or a massive fuckup that would get somebody fired that he winds up taking credit for you fuck him up the ass.
>>1862992
You're saying document cases where he purposely misdirected blame?
Honestly most of the stuff is minor and subtle. He's playing the long game. It probably won't work.
There aren't really any big fuck ups to capitalize on. He does make mistakes but it's human. Nothing to get fired over.
The Ethereum Foundation has announced the details of Devcon3, the developers’ conference. The third-annual Devcon will take place this November 1-4, 2017, in Cancun, Mexico.
“Once a year, the Foundation’s own team of developers and researchers emerge from their dev caves to present and discuss their most current work and innovations. They are joined by guest speakers who represent key contributors, collaborators, partners, peers and colleagues from the greater Ethereum community.”
Is that a good thing?
Tomorrow I can start buy ETH.
>Cancun
They should have held it in Venuzuela
Is this why ETH has risen?
check eth rn

Yupppp to the moooonnnn
We have lift off!
if theres any technical analysts here...wheres the resistance?
Which is worth investing in? Which is Flavour of the Month?
I know Monero is already used by darkweb vendors, all ETH has is some sort of corporate alliance which has nothing to do with its value but still drives speculation regardless?
ETH seems like a flavour but Monero can be used to buy things right now and has already shown growth for a reputable reason whereas ETH is only going up due to thread spam?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
>>1862834
XMR is a one trick pony.
anything XMR can do Ethereum can implement with a few lines of solidity code.
Ethereum scripting is turing complete which means it is capable of basically any application of blockchain tech you can dream up.
for this reason, ETH is a better investment than XMR
buying XMR is just making about 3 or 4 fat sweaty pedophiles in to millionairs, oh, and one fat sweaty pedophile from latvia
Monero is a better bet.
Don't fall for the ethereum can implement anything meme, especially privacy. They'll make a shit ton of mistakes implementing zk-snarks. They'll add a trusted setup negating any privacy benefits.
>Told boss and a few people about ETH yesterday.
> Thats cool anon.... or you should buy bonds right now.
>tfw making money by the minute.
>Engage jetpack
>Moon landing ETA 1 year
Come see me on the moon normies
>>1862808
>bonds
boomers and normies are about to get recked.
>tfw normies and boomers won't be on the crypto train EVER and the stock market goes fucked
>TFW tell dad about ethereum say its better than bitcoin, he buys in at like 14 bucks and calls me today to tell me he sold for 29 bucks.
>tfw he calls me JUST after selling that he will buy on the dip at around 26 or no more
>buy on the dip
>on the dip
>the dip
>dip
when will fucking normies and NEET's ever fucking learn?
>>1862808
lol bonds. yeah if you're fucking 70.
Post your face when you missed out on ethereum wealth creation
It'll be $1000 in a month at this rate
>>1862766
more likely around 38 and then fall off or 100 and fall off faster
Some /biz/fags are riding around in lambos now because of ethereum
>>1862787
People are going to be opening up those presale wallets soon...I mean come on... they're going to pass on 50k+ and hold on to some cryptoshit... sell your shit hoarders
What are your thoughts on gold diggers?
As long as their intentions are clear I don't really have a problem.
They are a good thing in general.
Most of the men who have the luxury of being with a gold digger are already cheating with strippers on the side. While the gold diggers are cheating on their husbands with the towel boy.
If the offspring is shared between the both of them that is all the matters.
>>1862749
I'd suck and fuck for 100 million. Anyone on 4chan who says they wouldn't is lying.
>want to get into daytrading
What books or videos should I read? DO i need a diploma for it for just plain intuition and learning the mechanics of trading?
Fuck that, just get into cryptos
>>1862663
buy eth last week
>>1862741
Is there any FAQ or Intro level stuff? I'm practically clueless.
Is gemini a good place to trade coins? Also why do they need ss#?
>>1862625
I like it. Lower fees than coinbase and you don't have to wait for a fucking entire week to get what you paid for.
As legit as it gets. Bit license, only way to buy eth in New York with usd. FDIC insured. Started by winkle twins.
>>1862675
so that's why they need ss# ?
