> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

/noob/ here. Anyone else holding some CLBS? Pretty steady right now it looks like, but I'm optimistic that it'll hike up soon.
I get my bonus today for work and I'm looking to put most of it in a roth IRA. It will make up a large portion of the max contribution, and I'll finish it up by the end of the year
Any particular company better than others? Any pieces of advice I should hear?
What do I do once I earn more than 130k?
Just put it in a SP500 tracking fund with low fees and let it sit until you retire. Follow your dreams and memes with other extra cash.
>>1869036
Now or after attaining 130k?
I don't see why I wouldn't try to get as much tax free gains as I can

Owning an individual stock has the potential for greater reward than owning a diversified index, but to achieve this, you must assume much greater risk. Yes, your individual company may go gangbusters, but it may also go bust and you'd lose your entire investment. Diversification is a more efficient way of achieving returns in exchange for assuming risk.
If you are a high earner and are ineligible for IRA deductions, you have a couple options. One: you can do a backdoor Roth IRA conversion. Two: contribute to a 401(k), which has a much higher contribution limit, and then roll it over into an IRA.
Due to your failure to understand diversification, I'm going to have you watch a couple corny videos so that you can educate yourself.

Anyone know where De Beers or a similar corporation stockpiles their hoards of diamonds?
No intentions, just a curiosity.
>>1868965
in a safe place far away from where people like you can get their hands on them
>>1868973
I could see your concern if you thought i was reading,
>in a safe place far away from where people like you can get their hands on them
but seeing,
>people like you can get their hands on them
but that's just not the case.
regardless, more specificity would be appreciated!
>>1868965
#2 to DeBeers probably isn't worth mentioning.
DeBeers owns 80% of the diamond producing mines on the planet.
I've been scammed on paypal when buying digital goods.
I disputed this transaction by saying that the seller did not deliver the item but I found out paypal buyer protection doesnt apply do digital goods.
Did I fuck up? Was I supposed to report it as an unauthorized transaction? Is it too late to do it now?
>>1868868
>we care about your life
Shut the fuck up and ask your parents of someone in reality not us.

MA in Economics or MBA? currently an undergrad of economics and want to plan out a career path. Goal: consultancy work
>>1868864
MA. Only get an MBA if you already have an established business career or your employer is paying for it.
Curious why you're not interested in finance.
>>1868872
Do you think its necessary? I've taken some finance courses and didnt find it particularly interesting, at least not at the asset level. The wider financial markets are interesting though.
>be me

>working with this new normie guy during our shift
>casually starts small talk

>says "oh.."
>few days later everyone starts calling me "momma's boy" at work
Whats your policy of revealing your personal life to your work colleagues /biz/?
>I don't tell them anything
yeah ok, but doesn't that only invite them to be more curious about what you do in your private life?

Age and nationality?
Jobs, age, and country?

Make up elaborate lies. Just make up a persona.
>I'm anon, my hobbies include [x, y, z] (make sure to do some reading on them so you souind believable enough, but try to be obscure with them so they don't ask too much
- Make up some friends and things you do with them, inject them into conversations occasionally "Oh haha that's a really great story! That reminds me of my buddy rick, oh man he did [crazy thing that relates to conversations] two weekends!"
Is there anything objectively wrong with committing white collar crime?
I'm starting to think not.
>>1868793
Whether it be tax, invoices, or having access to too many things you shouldn't, you'll eventually be caught. Why? Because you'll begin to get more a more greedy and reckless. It happens to everyone, and you will be caught. Do you think you could control yourself, and be subtle enough with your embezzlement?
>>1868818
>Whether it be tax, invoices, or having access to too many things you shouldn't, you'll eventually be caught
What if I stopped before that point?
>It happens to everyone, and you will be caught.
What makes you think that?
>>1868793
The problem most have is they get too greedy. If they just skimmed a bit off the top now and again no one would notice. But people don't think like that, they just taking more and more until it becomes obvious. Then all of a sudden, seemingly out of nowhere, bam FBI FREEZE!

Bitcoin will likely decline over time, but potentially reserve a place in the impending crypto paradigm ushered in by ethereum. Yea, ether is ganna stick. Will it be Facebook? Idk, but what I do know is, I don't have enough ether to be a real astronaut, just enough for an awesome return down the line (potentially huge depending on how impactful ether is).
So clearly, I, like many of you, are looking for the next pony express to Lambo land. /biz/ was right about ethereum, and we either did not listen, or did not listen soon enough for it to be substantial.
What is next /biz/? Seriously, what technology, what development squad is next in line to carry us to a mil? Who deserves our faith and hard earned gambling money?
Today, we free ourselves from the shackles of monotony.
BTC is ancient world
ETH is new world, but in 2018 it'll be old world
Milocoin will be the new new world

They are on the wrong side of the mountains that wall off Europe and will continue to be swarmed with refugees
Also, the manana manana culture of South Europe will keep them unable to reform their country, just like Spain, Portugal and Italy. All of which are also conveniently walled off from the rest of Europe by mountains
Next up, millions of starving Sudanese, Congolese, Yemenese and Somali refugees to fuck up their shit.
PIGS are lost causes in the long run

Randomly i am checking this bord, and my experiance here is like, we are talking about stock, investing in property, making business, cripto currency shill.
But we arent talking about how to optamilise the companies processes and there is nothing about quality...
So, is anybody lurking here who has experiance in the quality, lean, process improovment ?
>>1868612
In what sort of setting? I have this lean stuff being integrated at my workplace right now and i see it as somewhat useless at the moment
>>1868615
I had a half year experiance in lean visual management and wrote my diploma work in that topic, so iam quite positive about it.
But yeah, during my work i had experiance, that some emplooyes, who do the works lion part, basically think it, that lean is a burden and it just waists time.
I did read a lot of times, that first there is ressistance against it by the workers, specially if its just got implemented.
Can i ask what field are you working? Manufacturing maybe service or at the bank sector?
Well i would like to get in to a lean job, but i am not an engineer or it guy..
>>1868612
Yeah but i failed.
Had a trucking company and broke even.
Meh, delegation is key imo.
Thats the point in having a business.

Also please shut the fuck up. This is not hpw you play an ico. You play an ico by loudly proclaiming it a scam everywhere you can while secretly buying it, thereby reducing the amount of bagholders. And then you sell your ico bags at high prices to the rubes that fell for your false scam accusations and didnt buy the ico. Its the oldest trick in the book. Delete your thread and tell everyone this qtum nonsense is a chinese scam.
