What would /biz/ do in my shoes?
Currently $10,000 in credit card debt. I do make more than the minimum monthly payment but can't seem to get ahead and get that shit payed down.
I will be receiving roughly $17,000 as part of a settlement.
Should I pay off the debt in one go and get these fucking cunts off my back or use the cash and put a down payment down on a house?
Keep in mind that I live in a city where the average house price is $300,000 and even for that kind of cash you really get fuck all.

Hey can someone write some benefits of a mac-book sticker. I suck at copy write. I need at least 8 benefits.
Come on guys. Help a /biz/ lurker out. I am trying to build a business here
Pay someone to write it. It'll cost you $50 and well-written copy will increase sales way more than you realize.
Gets you street cred when you virtue signal that's one.
How can I help my parents increase their wealth?
We are a family of four - mom, dad, sister, me. Both my sister and I are in college where my sister is in a state university and Im in a CC. I pay next to nothing while my sister has most of her tuition covered by fafsa aid.
My dad works an 8-5 driver job and makes around 35k a year. My mom mans a food truck business with the family helping out from time to time when we can. For the past 2 years, my mom - with the help of us - has pulled in roughly 60-70k a year and this is with all expenses of the business included. Her food truck business doesn't impact our college financial aid surprisingly enough due to fafsa giving small business families a break which is nice.
In total, my parents make roughly 90k a year which is decent for them. On top of that, we live in a cheap house and have a smaller back house that's rented to a tenant who's been living here for a couple years. The rent we charge him pays off 80% of the monthly house payments. Overall, my parents have a couple 10k in "savings" - a good chunk is under the table while some has been put in a savings account - and dont have too many expenses other than a new car and a new family phone plan.
I want to help my parents manage that money a little bit better and have them earn more income. What can you /biz/raeli's offer in terms of advice? My parents aren't finance literate so Im guessing the first step is to teach them the basics. I dont know much myself which is why Im asking

>dad works an 8-5 driver job
>makes 35k
He should move to a different company. Drivers make so much dough man. Purolator, Fedex, UPS, etc. those drivers make a killing.
>>1906836
The only reason he's there is because he uses the low annual wage from his job to get us more financial aid money.
Yeah, it's scummy as fuck but I dont give a fuck. Paying for uni in 2017 is horrible and Im trying to get a B.S stem degree without having to incur too much debt.
>>1906840
>The only reason he's there is because he uses the low annual wage from his job to get us more financial aid money.
Has he actually done the calculation? There's drivers that are making 70-90K a year. Do you get over 35K in financial aid per year?

When did you realize working hard doesn't get you anywhere?
Never?
>>1906760
You need to work hard at the right things: sucking up, sabotaging the work of others and building up headcount underneath you to demonstrate your importance.
No one ever got rich by being good at their job.
>>1906760
>*leans into microphone* Wrong
Lemme guess, you think the only thing that separates you from the multi-millionaire chads is they were born into privilege, that somehow their whole life is easy street meanwhile no matter how hard you work you'll end up nowhere?
My grandpappy has a networth of like a million dollars and the dude did nothing but labourer for 40 years. He didn't finish highschool and he threw away money on some poor investments, yet by working hard everyday look where he is.
Hard Work Pays, yes, smart work pays more.
>btw. your idea is worthless until you invest hard work into it
I want to get on this cyrpto currency shit. But I can find a good reviewed wallet and exchange. Please someone! Anyone help!
Hey man, If you want guaranteed profit you'll want to invest in burst coin. if you look at it recently its started to grow, and steadily. If that hasn't convinced you look at the tech behind it, its more promising than any other meme coin on the market.
Good wallet: https://www.exodus.io/
Good exchange: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-BURST
Why is coinbase so slow with transactions? Or is it just me?

>no tax
>live in a trailer
>suddenly can actually get by
Would a mexican marry a robot? Is there any underground thing I should know of to go get a foreign wife? They do things like this in movies. I figure they don't eat alot.
The fuck are you talking about?
>>1906733
If you're married you don't end up owning taxes I've calculated. Otherwise they ask for money.

>>1906556
OK
I'm going to read it
>>1906556
Care to give us the gestalt of it?
>>1906842
This, I'm sick of /biz/ just listing books and lauding but not giving us the thesis or a summary of WHY it's good.
OP isn't as guilty as some others are of this though
Its not that most of them are trolls, scammers and liars, Its the way they put sentences together as if they legitimately have down syndrome. who types like this?

The home of p&d
>>1906529
literally who cares you autist. stop shitting up this board with your retarded threads
>>1906534
BitMEX does this too, for obvious reasons.
Frankly, it'd be a disservice to traders to call the chatbox anything but "the trollbox". Maybe the "shill-zone" or "suicide-watch daycare"
