Some anon once wrote that commodities have 12 year cycles. Uranium is on its 6th year from high to low

It's the perfect time to get into a bluechip, dividend-paying uranium stock

I'm in highschool and I want to work in sales and trades as a salesman, move to real estate and lastly entrepenurship.

If I were to go to university and major in business administration, what business administration concentration would be ideal?

A lot of successful people in the business world studied economics or finance. Do these give the best preparation for success in the business world?

An outlier in mind would be Steve Jobs, he focused on sales and innovation.

>and I want to work in sales and trades as a salesman, move to real estate and lastly entrepenurship.
Pick one.

>A lot of successful people in the business world studied economics or finance. Do these give the best preparation for success in the business world?
No. Running a business of your own, or working underneath a entrepreneur and observing is the best preparation.
>An outlier in mind would be Steve Jobs, he focused on sales and innovation.
Steve Jobs is a terrible role model for an aspiring businessman. He's a hype machine, a hustler. That's fine if you can find a genius with a product to hustle. Steve Jobs had Wozniak, Walt Disney had Ub Iwerks, Shane Smith had Gavin Mcinnes, Patrizio Bertelli has Miuccia Prada.
>>

What do you do?
Who are you to say Steve Jobs is a terrible role model?

If you want to work in sales, you can literally major in anything.

Why are shitcoiners in full panic mode and aggressive when you call them out on their Nigerian email scam? Doesn't sound like a person who is getting very rich quickly. They must be nervous as fuck as people become aware of their ponzi scheme. It's the tulip bubble all over again. Remember Dogecoin.

Article was too long.

He doesn't really make an argument for philosophy being superior to an MBA, but instead gives us a long boring narrative on the origin of management literature to lead us to the conclusion it's all fads (nahhhh you think? It's almost like no one has ever kek'd at the ambiguous verbal diarrhea of consultancy literature before).

I think with management it's not something that can be learned academically, the only possible academic analogy for it is Social Psychology, the social sciences, and good old fashioned Rhetoric: the science of persuasion.

The best way to learn how to manage people is to do it. To run projects, recruit people, and learn from your mistakes. That's what I did. I get better every time.

For the record I like Michael E. Porter, he has some potent insights into strategy, particularly where it overlaps with market segmentation.

i am intrigued by that lightbulb experiment guy, there's probably a lot of Skinnerian/Behaviorist experimentation to be done on manual labor, but the question is how can you create scientifically sealed conditions?

Hello /biz/!

I’m sick today, but I’ll still be doing another round of Madman pump today at 11am EST...

For all the haters and trolls out there, people know what they’re getting into here. This is the lottery, the russian roulette of crypto.

Please remember, crypto is the WILD WEST. There are no rules, no regulations, just a bunch of people with some money trading imaginary coins back and forth trying to get rich.

You don’t play madman pumps because you want a safe long-term investment.

You play madman pumps because you want to go all out and take risks.

So if you’re only here to harass the people who like to play Madman, then gtfo. We don’t need your negativity.

But if you’re here to play, then enjoy the rocket ride. Stay safe out there everyone.
Again, announcement goes out at 11am, it will be on Bittrex.

Hey biz. Anyone else sometimes wonder why the fuck we work? Sometimes I think what the fucks the point of working my ass off to get enough money to buy a house which I will barely be able to spend time in coz I'm at work half my fucking life. Anyone out there living a free life?

I work to achieve financial independence and become a NEET again.
>>
So, wait are you asking about buying a house or working?

I can't advise you about buying a house without any details, but if we're talking about work, this guy >>1907333 is correct. You're basically missing goals, which is why you feel bad about working.

If you want to get free, there are two main ways I'm aware of, they both take time.

FIRE: Takes many years of frugality, saving, and investing. Get enough cash together, you'll be free.

Business: Start a business and call your own shots.
>>
>>1907413
Bit of both desu anon. Saving for a house but I sometimes I think what's the point when I'll be at work most of the time anyway and not get to enjoy my house lol.
And also just kinda getting sick of being a wage cuck

How can I share a business idea with a celebrity and partnering with them without getting my idea just stolen by them? Because obviously with the money they got they could bring my idea to life by themselves, while getting my % of revenue.
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
NDA faggot.

(Actually depends more on the actual idea, as well as getting someone decent to draft the NDA - I personally wouldn't rely upon templates.)
>>
>>1907318
An NDA is an NDA, modified templates work perfectly fine... Just take a standard template and outline that ANYTHING discussed in a specified meeting is non-disclosable to anyone outside of the said meeting.

Celebrity discusses it outside of the meeting with someone else
Sue them
???
Profit

Lets not make an NDA complicated, when its actually a simple and necessary document to protect meeting discussions.
>>
>>1907279
This is cliche but... YOUR IDEA IS WORTHLESS.

At the very least find some leverage, if you're idea can be executed without you, then what are you offering to the partnership?

>that one beta who doesn't flirt loudly and frequently with the secretary / HR girls / female interns in front of the rest of the office

Guys, we have lots of fun on this board with this Chad / Stacey joking which obviously is a huge exaggeration, but please tell me you at least aren't THAT beta guy in every office? It's so damn pathetic to see that same type of guy act like a bomb will go off if he jokes with the women in the office. Everyone can see it.

One intern even said in her weekly review meeting with me that she avoided working longer hours because she may have to come in to more frequent contact with one of those types of guys. That's the only time I have advised an intern to work less (I work in finance).

So I preordered a deluxe version of player unknown battlegrounds for $40 dollars. It came with a in game item crate that is current selling for $200 on the marketplace. The crate only came with the preorder edition and only a handful of people got it (like me).

I'm guessing the obvious move is to save it right? Its day 1 of the market being alive for it and the price of the crate went from 20 dollars to 170. Would an expert in things like these give his insight on it?

Some important things.
-these crates cannot be created or given anymore, only a preorder edition from the deluxe version of the game
-the game is extremely alive being the number 2 game on twitch for nearly a week now. but the optimization is very poor. They have announced further optimization, custom servers and mod support in the future though.

I really only see a bright future for my investment. Why should i not save it?

>>
>Why should i not save it?
Because no one will care about this game in a year time?
>>
>>1907120
Game seems pretty alive to me, and games dont just die out of nowhere
>>
>>1907120
This. Sell it and also, If they decide to add something better than the one you currently own. your crate will be selling for peanuts also it is difficult to sell it once the game has lost its charm.
