Lol, I was a Bank Teller at a Credit Union for $15.50 in the midwest last summer. Yeah, you did, but you get bonuses and commissions for selling useless products to people that don't need them lol. Also, I am Black, they pay better if you are a more well dressed professional and can actually speak proper english. My coworker was netting $17.60 an hour after being there for three years. I quit after 4 months. Was offered an internship in commercial lending at a competitor. Being a processor is better, don't have to deal with people and as a loan processor, you choose when to work. Netting around 42K a year.

Earlier some anon made a thread about a site that would temporarily host video content.
The idea we ironed out was that each video would be tied to a specific current event, and when the current event ended, all the videos would expire and be deleted. It would save on server costs and would create a place for people who only want to see fresh content.
What do you guys think of this idea? Are you still out there anon?

Does it make sense to get a mortgage as soon as you can afford to?
In my country, and especially in my city (London), people seem to rent until the age of ~35 and only then look to purchase their first property if they can avoid it. Lots stay renting their entire life, because prices are crazy now. But me and a friend both earn £30-35k and know we'll be in London for the next few years at least, and if we pool our salaries then we can easily afford the mortage on a ~£450k flat for about the same price as we currently pay for rent. We'd be paying into our own pocket instead of our (((landlord's))). What are the drawbacks?
