You'd literally have to be a fucking retard not to buy ETH right now at $45 a coin.
https://www.google.com/amp/amp.timeinc.net/fortune/2017/02/28/ethereum-jpmorgan-microsoft-alliance/%3Fsource%3Ddam
From the article
"Thirty big banks, tech giants, and other organizations—including J.P. Morgan Chase, Microsoft, and Intel—are uniting to build business-ready versions of the software behind Ethereum, a decentralized computing network based on digital currency."
"Members of the Ethereum alliance also include Accenture, BBVA, BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, BP, Cisco, Credit Suisse, ING, Thomson Reuters, and UBS. Also joining is IC3, or the Initiative for Cryptocurrencies and Contracts, an academic group consisting of researchers from universities such as Cornell University, UC Berkeley, and Israel’s Technion."
Not to mention having an all star dev team, with practically a fucking genius behind the project named Vitalik Buterin.
It learned from bitcoin and improved. Bitcoin will be like landline compared to the smartphone.

When all these other companies build on it, ETH will not make any money from that.

They have the financial sense to invest in what is going to be the future. Wtf do you mean it's not going to add anything. Them using it adds value because these are credible companies.

People shitting themselves, buy the panic
I bought the deeeep!
So on January I asked /biz/ about flipping land in my city. I have been doing 2 flips in 2 month.
1st one: bought for 60k and turn to 69k in 1 month
2nd one: bought for 90k and somebody is asking to buy it for 95k after 2 weeks.
Currently buying 3rd land for 85k.
To note that I am living in SEA hence the cheap prices. People here are breeding like rabbit and demand for housing is very high. A lot people only want land so they can build whatever they want, apartment is not really attractive.
I really appreciate /biz/ on the advices but I think the risk tolerant here is quite low. Only like 1/10 from last thread encouraged me to proceed because high initial investment and like 5% per month is low/ hard to achieve.
Thought I shared my experience for someone who want to get in the flipping real estate business
Sorry for bad English.
Hope you do well, anon. If you can get into the rental business, go for it. You can always sell it alter, but passive income is pretty nice.
>>1924402
Thanks anon, going for rental business is my dream but my capital is not big enough right now and I am working oversea from my home country so it is a little bit hard to manage. Definitely one of the safest passive income. I know plenty of people actually financial freedom on 40s because of this.
These are terrible numbers. You shouldn't flip anything unless you can make 20k. Source: am flipper.

What are some cons of working in the skilled trades? More specifically electrical?
Is the skilled trades a meme? In Ontario the government has been pushing this meme of skilled trade shortages into schools for a while now. Is there any truth to this?
>>1924341
The whole point of trades is that you build a network of friends in different trades so you can get your own stuff done cheap/beer

Sup biz,
I recently got a job in a warehouse marking 11.50 an hour. And during our interview it was discussed that after 30days I would get a .50cent raise to 12 an hour. During the interview my manager said that I would be in "customer service" which I though was just answering phones, sending faxes and emails. He also said I should be able to wear "multiple hats" for this position. Now my problem is over a month and a half in and it seems like he wants me to be warehouse manager (got a key to the warehouse and keverything). I want to ask for more in a month and a half but I'm not sure how much we are a new chain in a company with 3 other branches. I was gonna say 17 an hour or salary. Any thoughts? Have any of you been put in this position? The job I'm doing should pay way more than what I am getting paid. How should I convey that to my. Manager
TL;DR
Got hired at 11.50
Job that I'm doing should definitely pay more
Wat do?
>>1924213
a key isn't a promotion. janitors have keys.
what makes you think he wants you to manage the bitch?
>>1924219
He kinda told me so. He's Korean and has a medium accent. It's a new branch an he would be working with our VP to acquire more sales with different companies around the south. Which means he would be leaving maybe once or twice per month. Likewise there are 3 employees and they all pretty much ask me what to do or about orders since I work so closely with my supervisor. Also I pretty much know how to do all of their jobs but you couldn't ask them to do some parts of my job
>>1924237
koreans dont like losing money if you ask him for a 50% raise hes probably just gonna fire you and find someone wholl do it for cheap
make yourself indispensable before asking for a massive raise like that or just slowly take up 50c or so every month or two
unless you dont care about having a job and are willing to gamble on him actually giving you it
Is bitcoin still a thing ? I mean, is it still proftable ?

Yep. It's literally mooning as we speak
>was supposed to be used for transcations
>now is essentially something peoplle want
What went wrong
>trade stocks at home
>claim my rent, electric bill, internet bill, and PC as business expenses
>still collect autismbux on the side
>>1924107
The downside to doing this is that you have to claim a bunch of things as income tax that you wouldn't normally have to, and self-employment taxes which add up.
>>1924107
Better hope you don't get audited.

>One Florida couple sought to do exactly that. After making $280,000 in income in 1999 and 2000, they decided to go pro. In 2001, they formed a company and made more than 660 trades over the course of two years. Not surprisingly, they suffered losses during the bear market -- losses they tried to claim as regular business losses.
Not so fast, said the IRS. While hundreds of trades a year might seem like a lot, the IRS didn't think so. It has two tests to determine eligibility: Was the couple's trading activity "substantial"? And were they trying to catch "swings in the daily market movements" in an attempt to profit from these short-term changes?
>For the Florida couple, the Tax Court found that the answer to both questions was no. All of the deductions they wanted to itemize as business losses became capital losses instead, resulting in a tax bill of $98,000.
IRS usually lets that shit sit for a while so they can tack on interest when they bring the hammer down.
On the bright side, you'll have a lot of the memecoin anons going down with you so you wont be alone.
