>>1926977
I'll be $70
You never invest more than you are willing to lose, but at this point, it is not worth it to sell your stash now, just ride with it
the good thing is that these coming months are exciting for ethereum, plenty of announcements and raiden release
>Falling for the ETH scam
I am a full time student. I live on a college campus which is about 1 hour from this court. I have an exam at the day I am scheduled for.

Explain to your professor that you have jury duty and they'll let you make it up.
Learn what jury nullification is, go out there, and help some people who are getting fucked over for nothing.
lmao eth $43 and dropping lmao
>>1926959
lol so funny
>>1926959
Time to buy soon
Let's admit I have 20k sitting in my bank account and no debt whatsoever.
What would the best items to invest in?
I was thinking about gold, silver and cryptocurrency, what do you think?
>>1926929
go all in on LBC
Look up Top 15 Cyrpto currencies, use majority of money for the best and the lower percent for the rest. Wait 2 years. Cash out.
>>1926932
I though one of the rule was to diversify my investments?
>Bought into Ripple at 4250 Sat
>Poloniex pulls some bullshit and crashes it twice
>Japs wake up but can't sustain a 5k floor
>Before going to bed think about selling at 5k
>Wake up at 3k
>Get home from work its 2.5k
Currently at a $500 Loss, I know it's not much to most but it still hurts.
What have you lost recently /biz/?
>Buy into pivx at around 6k
>it tanks below that after hitting $1
>tell everyone that if they're prone to panic selling transfer to wallet and not look for a week
>don't heed my own advice
>panic sell at 4300
>its now back to more than what I bought it for
My only real loss so far and I wouldn't have lost if I'd just stuck with what I knew I should do.
>>1926810
All about being mindful of dem emotionz and not playing into them

>>1926711
so by following your cheatcode, I should sell NAV, MUSIC and SYS and which one would you recommend to take from your sheet then?
>>1926711
looks pretty solid, except for that ripple and bitbay
Hey /biz/ I have a question regarding work ethic, and I thought this place was the best suited for my issue.
About 2 weeks ago I had an interview, in which I was told I excelled their expectations, and was told to proceed with the next step: drug test, which I attended; however, when I was there a problem was in the system in which I was told it appeared as if I had done that step already; therefore, I was told to wait for it to be fixed, and so I did, I waited over 4 days, eventually I decided to go back, and see what´s the matter. Unfortunately the person whom interviewed me was not there, so I left a message, to call me as soon as possible, which was not they did not. Today I went there once again, and waited for such person, and she told me that they no longer were interested in the possibility of my employment due to "my" statement during the interview: "I do not a position that requieres physical labor." Which is complete bullshit, since their reasoning behind this is that when asked about interests/activities I said I worked out, therefore I wasn´t interested in ALL positions offered, only the one I wanted: Cashier. Which makes no fucking sense, since this question would have been cleared had they asked me on the interview. Today they told me that they rejected my application due to "my" statement, which is stupid, since I was there, in front when the fuckboi who told me there was a problem on the system.
My questions are:
>Is this a good enough reason to complain and take it to corporate?
>If so which department/area should I call?
I´m incredibly enraged, what kind of bullshit is this, and these two "managers" most like cooperated to simply fuck me up, instead of fixing this simple mistake, and what´s worst is that they just called me about 10 min. ago to tell me that all the other positions offered/pending were rejected.
Why would you wanna work at a place you feel are hated against you? Best bet is to find another job
>>1926636
This.
I would never work at a place that requires a drug test either.
>>1926636
I honestly don´t care, I truly wanted to work there, the salary was acceptable, but I believe their actions were highly unethical. What kind of bullshit is that.
I started working at a company programming finance software for big companies (from 1k - 50k employees).
So now i can see all information about what these companies plan to do with their money. Buying other companies or how much assignments they have.
Any chance this is getting sold somewhere?
>>1926518
Sell it on BitBay.
You can sell it to your cellie when they throw your ass in jail.
>>1926518
So if you have access to this info why dont you just use it for your own private investments?
So is it over with ripple now? Any info about the Pump + DDOS / Polo scam yesterday? Will we see the coin above 5K again sometime?
I'm still holding, got in at 1100.
>>1926483
me at 4700 :(
Thought it would bounce back like the Nasdaq did after the temporary Bloomberg terminal issues.
>>1926487
Ripple is a longterm hold for me, planning on holiding it for five years or so, its obvious that its more than a pump and dump with how many banks are lining up behind it. The huge price increase yesterday was nice to see but it correcting down a bit didn't surprise me. I do wish I'd had the guts to sell at over 5k and then buy back in lower but was worried I was wrong and it would continue climbing and I'd have to buy back in at a higher price. I still think it has a good chance of hitting 10k before year's end.
What's causing the drop? Are we going to going drop below 40USD? Or perhaps soonrise above 50USD again and then continue on upwards? This coin is killing my sanity, pic related!
let me guess, you're sitting on 20 eth?
>>1926318
$15, is there really that much demand for decentralized smart contract platform, especially one that will use proof of stake algorithm soon. idk why people even look at next week or two when making cryptocurrency investment like this. u will probably make more returns just holding your cryptocurrency instead of trading them without bot or something. but yea, good luck with ethereum OP
>>1926337
there's enough demand that major banks and it companies like morgan, intel and microsoft is backing it, and even more to come soon, possible nvidia, bosch and tesla
but trying to argue with a delusional bitcoiner doesn't go anywhere
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>tfw bought in at 190
>>1926306
Company is literally a giant ponzi scheme.
>>1926306
good
Where are you on the class hierarchy /biz/? Where are you aiming for? What are your parents?
>presently G2
>aiming for E2
>Dad's an L2/L1, Mom's a G3
This is autistic.
>>1926232
>Trying to understand your social position and how to change it is autistic
Okay I guess...
>>1926227
no idea, this shit could as well be chinese.
What do you guys think about becoming a stockbroker? I'm looking to work as one in London or on Wall Street.
Pros & cons?
Wanting to become one because some make a shit ton of money
good idea OP
How do stock brockers operate?
I mean are those guys at a bank trying to invest good old grandmas savings and then fuck them up and make some profit there?
Like investment advisor some sort.
Or do they just sit in an office w/ multiple screens trying to buy low sell high other peoples equity?
anyone else still short volatility?
I know 99% of discussion is still ETH and kneepads but I see an occasional post on covered calls, etc, but absolutely NO posts on actual VIX discussion, and specifically short volatility.
I'm writing some thoughts basically for myself but am I 100% alone?
http://shortvix.blogspot.com/
I short volatility, but not with options
>>1926170
i got call options on VIX, bub. youre fucked, mate!
Yeah it's worked for the past few years but it'd be pretty fucking moronic to do it right now with volatility hovering near record-lows and complacency at record highs.
Volatility will at least mean-revert in the coming months. It's highly likely that it will overshoot big time and spike again imo, too many potential headwinds (and stupid amounts of VIX shorts who will need to unwind fast) for the market for it not to spike.
This TV clip mentioning Ethereum is cool!
https://twitter.com/avsa/status/847069837717319680
On a side note:
It's so early for eth that I've switched anxiety of price drops into drooly greed for cheap eth since we may never visit these prices again after more maturity and adoption. Look at btc a simple tech in comparison and it's value is up there now no where near these $40 prices and $3 day to day fluctuations. Big picture and holding is the way to go at this stage I believe.
The show is ABC's The Catch, in case you were wondering.
>>1926046
>mfw the jews, the globalists and the NWO are all backing Ethereum
>>1926092
I've never understood you /pol/acks
If you can make money off of something, Who gives a fuck what "muh jews" and "muh nwo" are doing? If you can make a profit, why care?
