I was tired of managing a dozen different browser tabs to keep track of upcoming ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) so I made a site to keep track of them all.

It's called ICO Alert: http://icoalert.com/
>updated daily
>shows ALL active and upcoming ICOs
>optional email notifications when new ICOs launch

Let me know what you think, anons. Also, which ICOs are you waiting for? I personally have my eye on:

I was going to, but they are only at ~2% of their cap in a week so I'm going to wait until the end of the ICO and then re-evaluate.
>>
>>1927928
They are selling 101,000,000 tokens, thats why the cap is so high, but the developers expect around 6k btc (I asked them) which is good actually because the rest of the tokens is going to be burned, that alone shoul be enough to give a premium to the price

with Turo I am able to rent my Mercedes out for about $75 a day, of that I make about $55 after insurance costs provided through the app.
they will insure any car up to $125,000 so the most expensive car you see on there is a tesla Model S or a jaguar or a BMW M4.
I found a Lamborghini Gallardo, bright yellow, that is for sale for $119,000 obo.
If I were to rent it out for $400 a day, minus 25% would net me $300 per day, of that it would take me 7 days rented to make the payment, personal insurance included.
and If i were to rent it out for 20 days Id make $6000 a month, that would be 3 months payments
but if I dont rent it at all then im on the hook for $2300 a month.

Sounds like it all depends upon how many days of the month you can lend them out. The business lives or dies on this.
>>
>>1927903
my exit strategy would be to sell the car.
but you're entirely right. Id need to price it right to meet the supply demand ratio.

I've seen a McLaren on there before.

I don't think you're going to able to rent it out 20 days a month. That might be a good thing though, you should be aiming to make the payment and maybe a bit extra. This way people wont be putting a crazy amount of miles on the car, causing it to drop in value like crazy.

Considering this you might want to limit the daily miles and charge like a buck every mile they go over.

Research how often the Gallardo needs maintenance, because that's really fucking expensive. Most of these cars need an engine or transmission rebuild every x miles (30k, top of my mind), and that's the kind of service that'll set you back a few grand.

Also consider logistics, at a $400 price point people will expect free delivery and pickup. If you can't do it yourself that's one more cost to put into the calculation.

I'm not sure if Turo has the audience you're targeting either.

Alright /Biz/raelis, ive been lurking for a good 3 years and i hit the big 30 tomorrow. All i would like is for some whale or somebody who actually has good information on a pump and dump or a coin that will moon relatively soon preferably tomorrow so i can cash out same day on my B-day. If at the least lets talk about undervalued cryptos and the amount i plan on spending is a measly 500 trump Bucks.

I want in on trading.

But I have absolutely no idea where to start. I have some very vague knowledge of the subject, given my readings of some of Nassim Nicholas Taleb's Incerto. I've also been lurking for a little while, but a lot of the vernacular thrown around here is relatively esoteric or its meaning isn't necessarily easy to gleam on first glance.

But I need to know where to start and where to go. Currently most interested in options, commodities, and currency trading.

Pls point me in the right direction, /biz/, I need you

In all honesty, crpyto is a really good place to start. The fees are low. There are no minimum balances. You can get your feet wet without getting hurt too bad.

Just don't be an idiot. Don't get sucked into mania. Have an exit plan for when the trades go bad.

Taleb's books are some of the best, but they won't teach you how to trade. No book can. You have to get your hands dirt and learn.

The most important aspect of trading is position sizing and risk management. Look up the Kelly Formula. If you ignore this you will face the 'risk of ruin' at some point, even if you make some initial good trades.
>>
>>1927642
Also, never listen to advice from people on 4chan, forums, or trollboxes. You gotta do this on your own. People listen to advice because they don't want to bear up under their failures. You have to take responsibility for your own mistakes, or you won't learn. Plus, others will lead you astray and cause confusion.

I left my job for the same reason man and I want to tell you otherwise but no, there isn't. Unless you're high up and even then. Your accompanying image sums up exactly how I felt for a long time.
I suppose I'm a NEET as this board loves tossing that term around but I left when I seriously felt like my life was slipping through my hands.
I am pursuing entrepreneurship and because my interest has always revolved around it: design + architecture and I am a lot happier in my pursuit.
Fuck everyone @ my old job. They were all bought into corporate slavery from the top down.

If it looks like a scam, it's probably a scam.

Let's break this down further, with compounding interest they're promising a ROI of over 200% per month, 480000% per year, on the lowest tier. If you deposited $1000 you'd have $4.8 million at year's end. This is far too good to be true, its on the level of emails with African princes promising you $10000 if you just send them $100.

Move back with you parents. Eat minimun, dont waste money on stupid shit like alcohol or clothes. Every month invest entire earning into 1 stock. Next month pick another stock to invest that months paycheck. Do this for 10 months. The comeing months spread income over the 10 stocks.

Do not buy penny stocks
Do not buy stocks that arent makeing profit
Do not buy shitty stocks that you think will skyrocket

Buy decent stocks that are trending

I just saw someone mention this on reddit of all places. Its literally free shit: the wallet/coin

Looks like its an online wallet for proof of stake coins. That is literally a couple months old and just released their roadmap for promotion. They have an exchange on it as well.

Their coin is called POSW, and they basically use it as BTC to buy/sell POS coins on the wallet (over a hundred POS coins listed and growing)

Instead of having hundreds of POS wallets on your computer you have to have all on the time, the wallet runs the staking for you at all times. Its basically cloud staking.

The coin has fucking skyrocketed in value over the last week and its capped at 250m coins. Also the developers pay the dividends of all the staking interest back to all the people holding POSW in their wallets. So you make free coin from staking tons of POS coins at once + get free POSWcoin to use on their exchange (or any exchange POSW is listed.

POSW coin is on livecoin, nova, yobit, cyrptopia and they plan to add it to like a hundred other exchanges.

I dont know what to think about this, its free shit all around so wont alot of people jump on this once it gets into the mainstream chitter chatter? I mean it was JUST released, pic related is their roadmap. I got a few POSW 5 days ago and never thought it would do what it did gains wise already.

dude thats what i thought, ive been watching since beginning of march,

just bought at pic related.

I never thought people would do this, but lol the price says other wise it seems to be catching on.

people keep their coins on exchanges right?

why not literally make interest off your coins if youre going to keep them anywhere but your own usb stick/computer right?
>>
Reading up on this now, the dividend feature is appealing.

Do engineers involved in manufacturing make very much?

Where are the biggest money makers for mechanical engineers?
5 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Do some googling. Industrial engineers are pretty in demand in the US. As an entry level process engineer you'll make 60-70k and while you're on the line for a decent amount of annoying day to day or weekly bullshit, you'll get a lot of experience and be able to leave that behind when you move up. Big companies like Ford or Dow tend to be compartmentalized and while you'll get sweet perks and cash, you'll get less experienced than at a smaller place like an auto supplier where you have to wear a lot of hats and get responsibility from the get go.

Try to be a process engineer for a tier 1 or tier 2 auto supplier for mechanical.

t. Industrial engineer
>>
>>1927662
tier 2 pays garbage.

work at a tier 1 plant and our production engineers start off at like 40-50k.

I've heard one got started at 37k.
>>
>>1927675
Just depends I guess, there are a lot of companies where you'll get shafted. I started at a specialty tier 2 and got 65k + 7.5k moving bonus out of college
