either way to get a loan for a rental will very likely require much better credit and down payment than you have. Depends where you live though.

This is the real kicker I live in NYC.
Imagine you are in a phone interview with a fund. They ask you where you see alpha in the economy right now. What do you say?
Let's say you say a certain industry is forecasted to do well, while another is posed to do bad. They ask you how you would trade to take advantage of this.
Let's say you go with a simple answer (because you're not alpha) and say short the bad buy the good. They then ask how you exit such a strategy.
Are they asking for more than just "close out your damn position"?

This isnt your typical /biz/ question, but I figure there are some smart people here who might be able to guide me.
So my brother and his wife are junkies, destroyed their family all that typical stuff...
I took him and his wife in to try and clean them up, sent her to rehab and he detoxed.. they relapsed and I kicked them out for the second time in the last 6 months...they are not coming back...
What do I do with all their stuff? Can I sell it? can I take it to the dump? What are the potential legal problems I could face? desu its probably only like $1k of stuff if I get a good price. Could he come back and try and sue me?

You might be, you might not be. Really depends on the company. It's really all over the place.
In my own personal experience, I've had a job interview where I was hired on the spot. I've had one where I only got the offer four weeks after my interview. And a whole bunch in between right on the spot and 4 weeks.
