Opinions on investing in Nokia?
6 posts and 2 images submitted.

Don't forget to invest heavily in DVD players as well while you're at it. Pretty soon our VCRs will be a thing of the past.

And I heard a tip that full QWERTY keyboards are coming to cell phones soon! Get in now while we still can brother.
>>
>>1944827
I bought the rumor that they'll soon sell phones under their name again.
No the news is that they indeed do, but I already lost half of my money…

But they are more of a network tech company nowadays and should be judged as such.
>>
>>1944827
It's not going to skyrocket ever...
Unless they come out with a gamechanger which lets face it...it's fucking Nokia. The only appeal their cellphones will have is nostalgic.

Smartphones are and have been dominating the cellphone market and the will only be replaced by something better.

Bad investment.

Give me good reasons. Im moving real money, not investing 50 bucks.

>>1944677
Bitbay seems like a joke, they plan to cap the price and keep it stable like a fiat currency.

PIVX, the centralization seems to be nuts with holders controlling most of the supply (worse than BTC and this is POS)

Also someone mentioned "it will never be on Polo" just like Waves and so on. Im not sure why.

I have to search on this one, looks like a decent gamble tho, maybe if it corrects for a while, I dont want to buy before the 1 USD is reached and it starts dumping.

Is there even such thing as a 'self made man' nowadays? I hear a lot about entrepreneurs and stories about people that started off with <$100 in their pockets and made giant companies and that turned them into billionaires, people like Walt Disney, Bill Gates, etc.

Seems like its impossible now in the year 2017, now that all these corporations collude with political entities that basically ensures their dominance in the market and absolutely crushes all opposition, no honor either, they'll stomp on the little guy to look good that quarter.

Seems like now, in 2017, you need to:

>know people (connections)
>schmooze like a weasel in 'networking events'
>get help from 'daddy'
>break the law
>find alternate ways to make money that is risky and/or little return

Unless you're willing to be an unethical douchebag schmoozer you're gonna be knee-padding in a waggie position long time.

Thats my observations so far, makes me very depressed.

You must be blind. Thanks to internet it's more possible than ever. But you either have to learn to program and create something awesome that can spread like wildfire or you have to do some type of internet sales like tshirts/dropshipping/affiliate/whatever. Depending on how much motivation, skills, and desires for riches you have.

Here's how you make big money:

I made a living for 2 years before I completely ran out of viable options to open new books. Pinnacle is way too sharp to profit without considerable effort and exchanges similar and also small lays.
Didn't have any models but could pre-price certain football leagues fairly well, then just looked for quick value spots.
Onto poker now though where the value never dries up.
>>

>never dries up

I wish breh. It's gonna be over really soon. Expect to make at least 20% less next year when Pokerstars "tweaks" their VIP system. That is, if online poker doesnt get banned in your country. Even if you dont play on PS you are fucked because PS regs will move onto other sites. Not to mention that reg-fish ratio is getting worse day by day.

Don't believe the FUD = fear, uncertainty and doubt, usually evoked intentionally in order to put a competitor at a disadvantage.

Ethereum is pushing forward (see pic) get on now or buy more before you start wishing it's $100 instead of $250. You think it can't do what bitcoin did but better? If whales manage to push it below $40 (for like a moment) you might be able to get some on sale otherwise market buy that bitch if you believe in the fundamentals like many investors and multi-national corporations do. Nobody huge is backing all these other shitcoins. The top two market caps are ethereum and bitcoin and have enough billions sold that they are not as easy to manipulate as the other coins with only million dollar market caps. Soon if ethereum gets world wide popularity it's market caps with be in the high billions and the sky's the limit.

>tfw there's some people that still hasn't bought Eth yet

It's now or never, eth is currently being held down by the negrowhales, once they relinquish their grib on eth it'll rocket again, combine that with the raiden release and we are talking 100$ as the new bottom.

Proof of Stake is also coming soon with the metropolis update, so no more cheap mined ether, it'll be locked away in staking contracts

We're not trying to get rich, we're trying to get happy. I'm not saying money won't bring you that, for most of us, it will. But don't lose sight of what the end goal is. Don't get wrapped up in chasing the means in an attempt to find the end. And never forget, the best investment you can make, is in bettering yourself.

>>

i genuinly think financial stability would make me happy. because that is something so outlandish to me. if i had that i could put my energy into my other issues like love or just entertaining myself. i think it would make most people happy. i think with me though if i started a company and was making a lot of money i would sell it pretty early if i could i dont need to be a gazillionaire just want to live comfy

What fucking piece of shit book for middle-aged housewives did you pull that vague faux-profound shit from?

Most of the world's richest people don't care about money, it's just a way of keeping score. tangible proof that they're winners in the game: and playing that game be it investing, or being the #1 in their industry etc.

And the fact they keep doing it year after year shows that the only people you're POS quite applies to are directionless people so obsessed with appearances and external metrics that there is no real self to invest in, no deep seated desire or image of a better self worth sufficing. Because they are skin with nothing inside there.

Hey, I'm a full time student going to a Russel group Uni about to finish his first year.

My issue is that I'm poor as shit and had no clue about Uni expenses ( To be fair I got a gf and have been overspending my loans to keep up with these posh southern cunts). I can't rely on my parents for finical aid due to one being dead and the other on benefits.

I'm already working a few jobs but I desperately need a way to make more money over the summer and I thought trading would be a good way to do it.

I have 0 clue what Trading actually is so I was wondering if you guys could point me to resources so I could learn and just some general tips? Cheers

Sorry for the sob story I am just a huge great big new faggot.

Trading is not a good substitute for an income unless you're a broker. It can supplement an income fine. Go work at a local tourist destination or amusement park, there is usually cheap housing and good pay

How do you motivate yourself to work/keep working when it's one of those days when you just don't have any?

Finished quite some things the last week, have to do a few more things that I can only start in a few days, but still have neough shit to do that would warrant me getting to work on them now, but I just can't.

I'm totally procrastinating. Reading news, cleaning the office kitchen, moving around my plants so that they get the optimal amount of light… fucking asking for advice on 4chan…

will going for a walk and working from the park help me?

I know I'll start getting shit done as soon as a deadline approaches, but until that point, work is going to be suffering.

Just start working for 5 minutes. Then you're done for the day. If you work longer you do, otherwise you don't. Don't be pussy and make decisions.
>>
>>1944316
This. Normally it takes me ~20 minutes to focus on something. It can sometimes change my mood and I can get stuff done on a day that starts really shitty.

So I would maybe take a 1hr nap, and then start working on something. If after half an hour you can't get anything done, just go on a walk or exercise or something.

Don't be an idiot and watch Netflix all day because you're sad.

>How do you motivate yourself to work/keep working when it's one of those days when you just don't have any?
You shouldn't have to, motivation means you're making a conscious choice to be productive. You should hack your own mannerisms, or Pavlovian-style train yourself to be compulsivley be productive.

I recently started a blog, planning to write informational posts for noobs trying to get into bitcoin and cryptos, with tutorials on how to trade shitcoins etc.
Only have 1 post so far and not trying to monetise it yet. Seems like it could be fun though.

Anything can be monetized, as long as it attract views.

Second one hit all the spots right but still not raking high enough to make good money, I'm on that 1-10$ a month from it kek.

Fell for the STEM meme. Now endlessly jumping through one failed customer service role to another because no ones hiring full time workers.

At this point I don't even care anymore. I don't even look at the traffic lights when I'm crossing the road.

I fell for the STEM meme as well. After a couple years of searching, I'm lucky to have found a full-time job. I can't imagine what the future has in store for us if the hoards of graduating students can't find a decent job.

I'd recommend something like Finance, Accounting, or Business administration if you hope to make a lot of money. But marketing is still good for a transition into full business. The problem is that marketing is closer to public relations and social studies than business, so you may find yourself under-educated should you try to start your own business venture.

I'd say it's an okay degree if you're passionate about it, but seriously consider getting a minor in something more practical like Computer Science or Accounting. Marketing simply isn't the kind of job with sky-high salaries, so you need to make sure you're in the position to advance further. But it's still good if you want to end up making above-average income, and live a good upper-middle-class lifestyle.
>>
Marketing is great if you enjoy working overtime and being underpaid while the accountants already left to go home while making 20% more
