/biz/ how much should you be making at 28?
I feel like I am way behind at 50k.
What can I invest it to improve my situation?
I then should kill myself scoring in at 80k end of 2017 at 37, right?
I made ~ $5,000 this morning. I'm 27 btw.
I guess you should kill yourself now.

I'm 19 and work at a job I really don't want to be at. I have $400 and want to invest in something, I guess bitcoin is an option, not preferred. send help
Knee pads.

>$400
>invest
>>1948805
$400 is not enough to invest. Keep saving and working on getting a job that enables you to save more / have a retirement plan, etc. You should generally have enough cash on hand at an absolute minimum so that you could survive 3-4 months on it if you lost your job. Keep it in cash.

Here's the deal, /biz/. I'm only 18 and graduating high school in June. Since I'm not a complete fucking moron, I went along with the system and racked up a shit ton of scholarships. I could basically go to college for nearly all expenses covered. I want to major in Entrepreneurship, because I've always wanted to start my own venture and work for myself instead of being a wage cuck. But I have my reservations. Is this necessary? Even though I'll have little debt, is the opportunity cost of 4-6 years of my life worth this fucking degree? Years I could be using to save money and eventually open the business anyway? I was thinking of buying and opening a franchise because of the advantage of a proven business model...possibly in the landscaping field. What should I do? It's not as if I'd be qualified for a business loan right now.
>>hey random forum of NEETs, how do i life?
You need a killer idea to become an entrepreneur. What have you been thinking about?
>>1948506
College for nearly free? Good deal. But don't get a degree in entrepreneurship.
Here's my sick advice, that is built purely for you, and if I could go back in time to follow it I would:
1. Find the easiest degree in terms of how much time it will take out of your day (you can start undeclared)
2. In a college located in a city where you'd like to build your eventual business
3. Make really god-damn good friends with anyone who looks like they'll be anyone important, or currently know anyone worthwhile. Basically try every god-damn club and meeting that's isn't 100% lame.
4. Whenever you have a workable business idea you can fund it out of loans. You won't find better rates so young. This is technically illegal but who gives a fuck, nobody will find out.
5. Just try a bunch of shit from step 4 with people from step 3 in the location of step 2 without worrying too much about classes due to step 1.
>major in entrepreneurship
Jesus fucking christ talk about meme degrees
Hi /biz/ I need help finding sources for my essay. I need to find scholarly articles and journals for my essay. But everything I find is either behind a paywall or taken down because of the website the information was hosted on went down or the changes made to federal sites after Trump took office.
Do you guys have any sources I could use.
>pic unrelated, because I don't have anything related.
>>1948469
Fuck off. Do your own research.
>>1948473
But the paywalls.
doesn't your fucking place of learning get you access to these?
I bought Drys stock about two weeks ago when it was above a dollar. It dropped to about 70 cents over the following week and has hovered there since.
I go to look at it today and i'm seeing that its never went under $1.50 for the past month. wtf is going on?
>>1948413
Don't worry op I'll buy your dip
the company dilutes its stock by issuing new shares. It uses the revenue to buy more ships and/or do shady stuff to enrich the owners of the company (and screw the shareholders).
Do not play around with these kind of stocks. do research on solid companies with good management, growing revenues, and a promising business model that can scale up.
>>1948457
what do you mean by "these kind of stocks"? how do you know beforehand if they will screw shareholders?
My libraries at my university all have a bunch of Bloomberg Terminals that students are allowed to use.
I'm a math major, but I haven't ever done anything serious in finance but I do follow and read about the news and markets closely. How do I use these bad boys to make me some money?

There should be a training program that you need to complete.
If memory serves, need to past the core test and at least one of the four additional tests (Economics, Currencies, Fixed Income and Equities). They're a pain in the pass because they ask stupidly specific questions and you can only do like 1 retake.
I haven't used them since college, so I may be wrong.
its not easy to use
Why isn't everyone gambling on Forex?
With 500:1 leverage, trading 10 standard lots (or $1,000,000) of a currency is only $2000. If a currency moves 100 pips in your favor, that's $1000 profit off $2000.
With 250:1 leverage, that's $1000 profit off $4000. With 100:1, it's $1000 profit off $10,000.
Because people also lose when gambling.
>>1948213
Then don't lose.
>>1948217
The way not to lose is to not play.

This is impossible.
Yep. The NEETs of today are the aristocracy of tomorrow. Just keep buying more bitcoin.
