Nice.

This is my dream as well.

In fact I feel like I'm so tied to objects precisely because I'm a poorfaggot. I'd probably live more frugally if I had more money.

Might as well make $20,000/year and live the exact same lifestyle.

It's quite fun isn't it.

Some people get really angry when I refuse to waste my money on retarded expensive crap.

Why the fuck do newfags keep falling for this shit?

It's funny yeah but seriously what the fuck you people never learn. It's like there's an endless supply of you people.

Hey while you're at it OP, buy DRACO, XMG, TRK, and every other coin I've shilled here the past month. Thank you.

>mother sends me a tax form for a brokerage account in my name that I didn't even know existed
>says I now have to ammend my tax return to account for these gains that I've never seen or received, but mother says it's where part of the money she sent me for food last year came from
Do I actually have to pay taxes on this shit?
I've never seen this account before in my life.
33 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
If you sold a holding last year in your name, and its a significant amount then yes. You probably have a 1099-div or a 1099-b, something like that. not very difficult to do.
>>
Demand to know the details on the account and amount, without understanding the details you could be agreeing to knowing shit you have nothing about.

t. trust fund kiddo who gets weird tax forms and has the audacity to ask what the hell I'm signing for
>>
>>1967719
Yeah it's a 1099-B but I never authorized anything like this.

>>1967727
She sent me the 1099-B.

It has my name on it but I didn't set it up or anything, I've never seen this before, never deposited into it, never authorized any sale or anything on it. This thing came out of nowhere for me and my mother says she's used it to give me money some times while I was in college.

What do I do? My mother isn't going to talk about it so talking with her probably isn't really an option.

I read an excellent review of BitBay and wanted to gauge /biz/ as to the veracity of the claims therein:

"Having used the actual client, the scope of this thing is amazing and it is already functional. an entire decentralized marketplace, and everybody is too retarded to understand how advanced it is. No middleman. Trustless double deposit escrow. Smart contracts. Rolling peg to reduce volatility in the vlaue of BAY. Just announced that it will be on Blocknet (powerful partnership). Developer and core investors always available in slack. Compare this to Edgeless, which just stole my ETH and customer support won't talk to me. Compare to PIVX, which is basic as fuck. Compare that to BTC, the world's slowest coin. Compare that to lietecoin, better than bitcoin but still shitty. This is going to be wild. In terms of sheer utilitarianism, this coin is ready for fucking enterprise system type use."

Is this true? Can someone give me the advanced-level gestalt on BitBay?

I'm on the verge of dropping a decent fucking amount on this so if someone convinces me i'll give them .1 BTC, i'm Big League. I'm no easy sell.

Its all true all of it. I went balls deep in this when it was at 320 sats. Join the slack for more advanced questions, but that wall of features link should be enough for a basic gestalt.

I've been following this coin since last september. It's volume on bittrex has grown steadily up until december, then it got a few big bumps and rose more sharply. Recently volume has been rising fast and sharp.

Based on the working tech, community, total coinsupply, roadmap and current buzz I expect it to rise to at least 0.00002500 in the next few months.

If development stays on track, the community keeps growing and PR gets a boost I see bitbay reaching 0.0001 before the end of the year.

I'm 100% certain that Theresa May will win the UK Election this June. But how can I profit big out of this? All the betting sites have already priced in high probabilities of her winning, so the payout return is very low...

See attached, is this looking like a descending triangle? Do these types of things actually matter? This is for pivx right now btw using 30min candle sticks.

What does that mean?
>>
>>1966843
It means ones the price converges to the point (if it still follows the lower and upper lines), the price may break downwards. Here is a way better explanation:

The whole concept of shorting should be illegal. It is nothing but breeding grounds for unethical and fraudulent behavior. There are no positive economy-building aspects of it other than fat cats desperately trying to save their money by stealing it from uninformed investors and calling it a "hedge" euphemism .

Wall Street shills will argue that this quickens the culling of bad companies but its a completely bullshit argument. The companies will go on their own if no one is buying their product or service.

There is a reason why an average Joe can't buy an insurance on property he doesn't own.

The exact same could be said for any short-term holding. Do you want to make buying securities and selling them within a set time period illegal too?
