>ETH starts blowing up, people who put money into it rejoice

ETH blew up months ago retard.
>>2001400
I heard that that when it went to $5/ether back in March 2016
I also have funny images of "itstotallyarussianscam.jpg" that are derogatory of Vitalik... no coiners will keep coping. We're going to $300/ether by eoy boiz
Anybody buy any LUN at the crowdsale?
I put 5 ETH into it and now that ETH is taking off I think I fucked myself over.
What do you guys think it will be worth when it hits exchanges?
>>2001372
Never buy into crowdsales desu senpai
All crowdsales are over priced and are basically bubbles

Ok having looked at their site and read the project, I really don't see the point. It seems they are just trying to cash in on the crypto bubble by coming up with some unique gimmick, even though there are countless non-crypto alternatives that are far easier to use than what they're proposing.
I'd stare clear bro. Go for projects that benefit substantially with blockchain tech, as they will actually grow.
It was too complicated. There were like 40 steps involved in buying it.
>remeber seeing bitcoin when it was only $10 or so and shitposted about on 4chan
>was a poor highschooler so didn't buy any
>saw ETH when it was cheap and shitposted on 4chan
>poor college student so couldn't buy any
Will I ever have my day? I'm about to start my salaried job so I'll finally have income and a source to invest but I feel like I should kill myself
I lived this feel too anon
Why didn't you shill your family into lending you money?
>>2001261
I know this feel too anon. Hopefully we will make it on the big coming quantum wave
Anyone do this? Seems pretty lucrative. I have a shitload of spare time I could be setting up deals. I'm an able bodied man, I wouldnt be afraid of being ripped off or scammed.
Seems pretty easy to by BTC on an exchange and then sell it marked up for cash on the street. What's the downside?
I say this can be extremely profitable when combined with crypto investing, as this can allow you to move large sums in and out of big coins. On localbitcoins, you can buy cheaper than the current price, and sell higher than the current price. You need to verify yourself and start with small transactions at a good rate to build your reputation up. You NEED to determine whether you need a license of some kind to trade currencies in your country. If you're in Canada for instance, you need to be a MSB / MSB Agent and report all transactions and photo IDs to FINTRAC. Otherwise you may go to jail and have your assets up to 1 million repossessed by the CRA. Regardless of whether you need a license, you should be recording all exchanges to your fiat currency on your taxes.

Have fun in jail, dipshit.
Why not just sell coke, buy a Ferrari straight cash and not pay taxes? You'd only get in a little bit more trouble when coke is involved.

>In other news, dear Investors and members of the Board, I will assert that Henny's Pay and Wash is the best laundromat in Omaha. They have drop-off services that include pressing, where other places (Speed-E-Clean on Clarsaw) do not. This is a long term advantage, and I think you can't do better than that.

I heard a plug story on radio about his documentary that came out. He said that his wife sets out money for his breakfast, depending on how much she gives him he either gets two sausages or one and coke from mcdonalds.

Hi /biz/,
just wondering on how i should get started on investing. i've lurked a fair bit on this board but can't understand anything as i have no background knowledge to understand the jargon that floats around here. is it possible at all for you guys to share some resources for a very beginner? the kind of beginner that wouldn't understand how credit card interest works. sorry for the brainlet question but any kind of info/resources would be greatly appreciated. i honestly just don't know where to start.
>>2001231
Well super basic I usually tell friends to get acorns and if possible add $100 a week.
If you troll here a bit and find you might want to pick your own stocks get robinhood, bigger risk bigger reward.
Once you are god tier get into crypto after you have a good savings and normal brokerage account.
>>2001231
Also, if you have any debt pay that off before jumping in. Whatever 10% you get in interest will be lost to the interest on the debt and then some
Investopedia is a good start for all financial stuff.
Hey guys, Im a girl and was wondering if you could give me some crypto advice. No meme coins. Have to have solid tech and low supply. Help me move out my parents house :) love you

I have a feeling youre not really a girl and youre some neet who thinks hes going to get benefits and possible donations from a bunch of cucks on the internet by pretending to be one.

Just bought a house with all my gambling winnings. Looking for someone to bankroll me for a few months.
How would I go about finding an investor?
Just bankroll yourself and kelly criterion your way up, or sell tips perhaps. Your bigger concern is getting fresh softbooks t b h
>>2001178
greetings op. i, too, speculate on cryptocurrency. now whos interesting in bankrolling us????
>>2001192
i actually have my own system that works for me. i tried the kelly criterion system and i wasn't satisfied.
I can't bankroll myself because I just bought a house with most of my bankroll. I could slowly rebuild it, but if someone wants to bankroll me for 3 months I will make it well worth their while.
Thoughts on augur and gnosis?
Most recent blockchain projects are gimmicky as fuck and outclassed by existing tech, but the idea of decentralized prediction markets seems genuinely interesting.
If augur takes off after launch, the price of $REP will be tied to the annual trading volume (since $REP gives you shares of trading fees).
Haven't researched gnosis yet, but the recent ICO fiasco has me staying the fuck away from gnosis coins.
Anyway thoughts, /biz/?
Benefits of decentralized prediction markets:
> Anyone can sell prediction tokens instead of only major betting sites
> Minimal fees compared to existing sites
> No risk of scamming since outcome is enforced by smart contracts
> Easily deposit and withdraw cash without dealing with greedy gambling sites
Also, unlike existing BTC gambling sites, augur just uses fiat to bet meaning it's more normie compatible.
I'm sure there are a few more but that's the basic ones I guess.
The current price of augur (~$13) seems overpriced as fuck though
my thought is I really wish I took augur seriously when the price was low.
is it still worth investing?
>>2001258
As a concept I think it definitely has potential, however currently all they have to show for it is a non-functioning beta platform that looks and feels like garbage. I have no idea how the coin is worth $13 honestly.
>>2001258
>>2001279
Just to add... If Augur was able to get $1B+ trading volume a year (possible given how popular gambling is), then according to this calculator (from official augur site) you would earn $1.07 annual per $REP.
https://repulator.github.io/
Meaning at the current price of $REP, you'd get less than 10% ROI annually.
This means, IMO, $REP is way too over valued atm since even when assuming they can get $1B+ annual trading volume the ROI is still shit.

> How is it free?
"People" invest your settled funds when you're not using them, just like banks.
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.
> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, why?
Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.
> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.
