How come people in these threads usually only list like 3-5 coins in their blockfolio? Are their crypto investments really so narrowly focused?

Sup /biz/bros. Coinewfag here. I'm trying to buy a ticket on a rocket bound for an intergalactic blastoff, but I'm facing some troubles. For one, I'm contemplating suicide over the opportunity costs I'm being hamstrung with over Coinbase and Kraken's slow verification processes. Also, as a coinewfag, I'm pretty lost on how to acquire most coins other than BTC/ETH/LTC.
So far I've been able to squeeze my Coinbase hourly credit allowance limit for:
$95.69 worth of ETH (1.0856 @ $88.14)
$17.36 worth of LTC (0.6455 @ $26.89)
Are there any ways I can speed up dumping my fiat into the crypto market, such as speeding up the process in the services I'm using or using other similar services? Also, how do I pick up the less powerful coins - particularly XtraBYtes? Any suggestions for other coins are also welcome. I'm willing to spread the cash around if it means not missing the next moon/mars mission(s).
You're about to get a bunch of shill answers. You will lose money if you ask for advice here on which cryptocurrency to invest in. You're in wayy over your head. This board is infested with pump and dump teams that depend on people like you so they can rob you blind by misleading you for a quick buck.

Wouldn't it make sense to buy about $100 of everything, and then sell it when there's a sharp uptick in value?
If I had more time to read articles about hype, I'd probably do that.
I'll probably end up doing that to supplement reselling BTC from kraken on a local LBC alternative.
>>2036538
I expect shills; I'm really looking for advice on HOW to get the shitcoins as well as how to start actually sinking money into the market. This whole $100/week thing is going to cost me a lot of sleep until it happens.
/biz/, I just lost $600 shorting BTS.
I kept shorting more as the price rose.
Eventually, realized it wasn't worth the risk, and walked away with the loss.
Doing well otherwise. But I wanted to hear ya'lls worst trades and how you handled it. What strategies are using to using?
What dumb mistakes have you done
>inb4 didn't buy enough ETH
OP here,
A mistake I made at the beginning , about 6 months ago, I was reading all I could about crypto.
I thought XMR was the way to go. It had a real use. I didn't understand the real-world applications of ETH yet.
At this point, XMR and ETH were at the same price. I sunk about $2000 into XMR at when it was about $12 each.
If I had just done more digging :/

I lost 40 btc shorting dash which was 80% of my life savings
>>2036405
I did this a couple days ago with ETH and had to buy back at a higher price and lost 7 of them. I deal with it by being super depressed for a couple days and sleeping a lot.
Too much fucking effort to get verified and to wait for it to be approved and then wait again for transfers. i want it now! I'd rather just stroll up to an ATM, feed it my money, get my bitcoin.
But are these things legit?
Can you get a paper wallet or do I need to have a wallet before I buy?
How can I tell I'm not gonna get scammed, found a ATM in my city (8% fee... fuuuuuck) that's been reviewed but still not sure.
Come on Cyrptoshills, you're always shilling, now I'm willing to buy in - make it easy for me
>>2036397
It provides you a temporary wallet, but I recommend that you have one of your own.
>>2036407
Is that a paper wallet or do i need a device?
>>2036409
I'm pretty sure it's a paper wallet.
I would have a wallet before hand just to not deal with the bs.
Hi /biz/,
I have a question for the economists and economy nerds: what are the effects of clean energy and electric cars on the petrodollar? Is the gradual push around the world for renewable and environmentally friendly energy going to radically reshape the value of the American dollar, and is that why that sector is being supported (as a safety net)? Does this and Saudi Arabia's shift to tech mean they will stop fucking around in the Middle East and therefore slow down the military industrial complex?
Maybe my questions seem a little schizophrenic but let's discuss?
Also because we are in /biz/, how do we (the little shrimp in the ocean) profit from these changes?
>>2036389
I dunno if the effects of clean energy will be that noticeable for at least a decade. Also remember that OPEC still is a cartel so they can offset any reduction in demand by drastically reducing output, now if the US become less dependent on oil they probably will produce less domestically which is good for OPEC because it means there are less producers outside of the cartel.
> Is the gradual push around the world for renewable and environmentally friendly energy going to radically reshape the value of the American dollar, and is that why that sector is being supported (as a safety net)?
Not sure what you mean. By that, ohrase question another way?
Personally i'd buy into rare earth metal miners and derivatives if I had the knowledge and money.
>>2036406
What I mean is: the US and Saudia Arabia's petrodollar is becoming more obsolete when we shift away from oil. Is this why the US has a considerable stake in making sure they lead the clean energy sector? I understand it isn't very linear thinking because just because clean energy offsets the petrol dollar doesn't mean it has anything to do with USD.
But I suppose the first question I should have asked is will this destroy the USD's non backed system? I guess not right?
Is LTC going to the next galaxy this week when it releases Segwit?

Anyone on here make money running good websites? Not talking about dropshipping or any eshops, just cool websites. For example, any torrenting, video, music websites or forums?
I run a little website called Something Awful
>>2036341
I run a small website that I built years ago. Haven't done much with it but it makes me about $150 to $200 a month in pretty much passive income.
In the past I had Adsense ads on it, then switched to selling an ebook that I made. The only maintenance work I do now is responding to the occasional customer email.
If I had more motivation I could definitely put in the work to make more money from it. But unfortunately I'm a lazy neet.
>>2036377
Noice, how many years was it between starting and when you put ebooks on?
How much you charge per ebook?
It's mostly search engine traffic yeah?

I was the guy posting about Instagram account management earlier this week
>Might make this weekly because the thread was chill
How would somebody go about advertising this? I'm looking into Facebook Ads even if it isn't the most promising, I just want that experience as everyone has done it.
I'm also buying a page in the local business directory magazine thing.
I'm posting to Instagram on a dummy account that's boosted to shit, enough so to get me to 'most popular' photos in locations, for businesses to (hopefully) see
Anything else? Been racking my brain, guys. It seems like these three ideas are garbage.
>>2036294
Bump because I'm interested in this

Thanks dude
If you have any questions about Instagram etc, let me know

Fucking bean? Why didn't you just dangle your dick and balls in a pool of Pirahnas?
Can I just not have an emergency fund if I have lots of wealth in my personal brokerage account and could sell it immediately? I feel like I'm wasting so much potential profit here, I have like $15k to spare in my emergency fund and the rest is in index funds and they keep rising and rising and rising and my $15k is doing nothing
>>2036230
Not much of an emergency fund if it's not fast cash
>>2036230
i think about that a lot too, but i think its a good psychological imposition cuz it really forces you to view yourself as a business with risk parameters, etc
Put it in an interest bearing account. It won't be huge gains like an investment, but it's better than not having an emergency fund.
Been trading stocks for 3 years now and although I've seen nice gains this year, the market is too overpriced and I'm not sure if it can hold much longer. I want to diverse my portfolio and being the degenerate I am, I seek the help of anonymous autistic NEETs online who for some reason are richer than me for buying virtual currency named after memes. I am impressed yet remain skeptical so I want you sell me on cryptocurrency.

>>2036199
>>What is the inherit value of crypto?
Nothing. But it's a technology that can theoretically be applied
>>What makes one coin more (or potentially more) valuable than another?
Market perception/hype
>>How frequently can a new coin, theoretically, enter the market?
every second... but you don't need to worry about that
>>Are there restrictions/criteria one must pass to enter the market or is it the wild West?
Virtually none
>>is the supply of a crypto theoretically unlimited?
Depends on each coin
>>who determines the supply?
Each coin is different
>>How does global political/economic instability effect value?
Bitcoin, for example, seems to go up when markets go down just like gold use to. Because unlike FX it's not paired with any particular currency
What it all really comes down to OP is what is your appetite for risk? You can make some incredible gains with Crypto in super short amounts of time. it's a double edged sword, the same volatility that can make you quadruple your money can wipe you out. Just do yourself a favour and ignore anything being shilled here and make your own decisions about what you buy into and you'll be fine.
Somebody here as annoyed as me about all the fudding going on here lately? Now on top of the 3-4 shill threads we have 3-4 fud retards spamming up the board
