Now that StaTic nodes are fully functional, why aren't you buying XBY?

It's mooning RIGHT NOW!

It's going to go higher. Only 2 exchanges host it atm, afterwards and after white paper it will pass 500/1000 sats, etc.

So now that it's confirmed XBY isn't a scam and the Static nodes / PoSign is functioning.... why aren't you joining moon ride?

We've already lifted off but I'm sure you can catch up in a shitty Pajeet "pooperpower 2020" rocket.

ETH is great but WAVES seems extra cheap right now.

I found something odd on eBay, there are sellers who sell huge bricks of foreign money. Why would people buy these? They're too expensive to be collectibles and paper money depreciates in value over time so it's not even a good investment.

if you were betting on something that consistently had 45% chance of winning and 55% chance of losing..

you have 1 million dollars and bet $100. whenever you win, you keep betting $100. whenever you lose, you keep doubling your bet so you maintain the last highest net profit.

the probability of you making a net profit after 1000 games is about 89%. and the profit you make will most likely (90%+) be atleast 43000

why arent you doing this?

Why don't you play a game in life where the odds are in your favour? For example a job.

>whenever you lose, you keep doubling your bet so you maintain the last highest net profit.
This is called the Martingale strategy, and it doesn't work. The probability that you will lose n times in a row is non-zero, and that's where you lose all your money.

What should I convert my LTC into? I'm a NEET with 3.463 LTC invested and I'm leaning towards gambling on XRP or maybe DGB.
If I do, should I wait until LTC could hit $35 or is it gonna crash as Bitcoin fixes it's scaling problem?

If you had put it into BURST a week ago and sold just before it dumped you would have made so much more. LTC seems to be stuck and on a slow decline at this rate.

I would say put it in GNT and hold for a bit.

I am moving to a new city, do I move to Seattle or Portland?

I really like the normal people in Seattle (Engineers), but Portland has the best strip club scene in the Western World. Seattle has that amazing cheap waterfront though...

Which should I move to?

I am a rich, young herpes ridden degenerate already.

You will get sick of the strip clubs in Portland.

Both cities are experiencing a tech boom that is starting to plateau. They are also targets for Californian yuppie locusts who bring their shit culture and will leave once these cities are stripped of wealth and culture.

Portland is kinda lame for a large city. People are clique-y as hell. The weather shifts so much, you will need to get used to the rain and gray skies.

why would I get sick of the strip clubs in Portland?

Here its like $6 a beer, and the closest one is 5- minutes away.

I can't predict when it will happen, I can predict it WILL happen.

Plus DGB will break out between now and 19 may. You should buy right now desu, it's still bouncing so you can pick it up cheap.

Screencap this.

Bitcoin is worth $1705 atm, yet all the places online I've looked at are charging $1765-6000+. Why are these places charging people much more than the actual current price? Seems like such a scam...

Coinbase Price: 1787 + fees
Bitstamp Price: 1765 + fees
Bitfinex Price: 1794 + fees

Everyone is getting fucked by these exchanges.

Actual prices:

ETH: $84.42

LTC: $27.27

Coinbase prices:

LTC: $28.64 + fees
Is there an exchange that sells the actual current price? or are they all money grubbing bastards?

Vertcoin is asic resistant, which makes it more accesible to lower level mining hardware and gives people who want to mine more access to options, instead of just overpriced asic hardware.
The devs have proven over time that they are true to this pledge unlike litecoin. Lite coin was started as an alternative to bitcoin because of asic development and to create an asic resistant coin, and then when the scrypt asics started getting developed they rolled over and let the asics take over their network instead of forking their algorithm. At the time vertcoin was using scrypt-n and hardforked vertcoin to lyra2re when the scrypt asics came out. Which proved to me at least that they are definitely up to the task of keeping the pledge of asic resistance.
Vertcoin has also been the coin to add major updates early each time, most importantly before bitcoin and litecoin. We were first to have stealth addresses, one of the first coins to use segwit, the devs are currently testing the lightning network and have done a transaction on the main net. This kind of adjustment is important to a coins continued adoption as it shows that the devs are not stagnant.

Anything that is advertised by combining Marvel & the product is an instant red flag, and for that reason I'm out.

Also, nothing will stop Ethereum or Bitcoin
>>
>>2077458
LOL.

VTC is by far superior compared to LTC, ETH XRP and all other coins out there. Currently the lightning network is in test. See you at $100 per coin bitchezzzzz :-)
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1L3ppPwKIQU

Also, webshop owners who are early adopters use VTC as payment instead of BTC already.

So, buy buy buy before this baby will moon towards BTC price.

Hope this thread can motivate some of you all to put down the vidya and start investing in yourselves. Learn a trade, learn to program, and most importantly..learn how to deal with people.

I'm in my early 30's and make ~$240k/year in the mid-west doing some highly specialized software development and leading a team. My wife teaches and dances ballet, earning ~10-15k/year part time. My weekends are pretty much the same..here's how mine has gone so far:

Friday night:
1. Wrap up work at about 6:00pm. 2. My wife is out teaching until 9:30pm....so I stop by an upscale sushi joint. It's typical here for the bar to be mostly solo-eaters: business travelers or people getting a bite before they go home. Nigiri sushi goes up to $8 per piece depending on what you're getting (Toro, Hawaiian Walu)..so I easily hit ~$120 including beer & tip.
3. Pay the tab and drive home. Wife's still not home and I'm tired of programming..so I pour myself a 75% mix of IPA beer mixed with 25% honey wine.
4. Wife gets home. I pour two more: one for her one for me.
5. Have a drink together while doing our on stuff on our laptop. Look at my email, sees that she's already spent about $100+ tonight since she's got back on designer dance leotards.
6. After the drink..she's still sweaty from dancing and needs to take a shower, so she recommends we have "sex" now since she doesn't want to have to take two showers.
As usual, I fuck her in the ass, missionary style. Normally this isn't a problem..but I've had a bit too much to drink. Ten minutes in she is yelling at me to hurry up. I recommend prone boning, she protests a bit but obliges. I turn her over and go in from behind. At this point I can tell she is in pain but other than the grunting she is keeping it to herself. Finally I wrap up.
7. I go back online to browse 4chan while my wife heads to the bathroom to shit out my cum and take a shower. We relax a bit more before going to bed.

Saturday:
1. Wake up after 9 hours of sleep. Have breakfast, then hit up the gym while my wife is at morning ballet class.
2. I get back before her..pretty bored so I go to my usual cam site. Lucky enough, I find one of my regulars..a typical 20-something redneck girl with daddy issues. I pay her about $80 to shit and fuck her ass in front of her high-def cam.
2. When my wife gets back we head to a coffee shop for the next few hours. I spend about 5 hours coding, working on a roguelike I make in spare time, while my wife is just chilling. By the time we wrap up she's only spent about ~$150 shopping online - not bad.
3. We go get dinner afterwords at a decent restaurant, but no reservations required...about $90.
4. Get home..wife starts watching some Milo videos (she's red pilled). I get tired of the youtubing so I put on some "neo-nazi" music (Death in June).
5. We drink a $45 bottle of wine, no sex tonight.

Sunday:
It's Sunday now. My wife is out most of the day because of dance. Just had lunch and I'm right here on 4chan chilling.
