Heading to bed, but I just bought 1,000 USD of BTC. I don't want to leave it there over night (positive it will fall by morning). Where should I tuck it overnight?

not sure about xrp being an overnight winner. I've got some and yeah it's cheap right now but concerned it's going to hobble along for ages.

I said overnight. XRP does seem like a solid long term hold.

So /biz/ is late to the train again...
Investing in ICOs now is a mistake much how it happened with premines.
Things are now changing with ICOs, it was the same with the premined coins too. at first they were good and people invested in them and prices went high just for the owner to dump the premined coins at high prices.
Then people caught on to the scam and stopped investing in any of them.

Now the same is going on with ICOs. they replaced premining with ICO and every time the ICO coin is listed on the exchange the price plummets as everyone starts dumping for profit.
And people are catching on to this new scam, and generally bad plan and they will slowly stop investing in any of them.

Everyone already knows what happens with ICOs, this is why even /biz/ suddenly starts shilling ICO's because its already too fucking late.
Most upcomping ICOs are gonna crash and burn and the real money makers will be the ones that grab the coins on the exchanges as their price plummits.

Be warned, once you see /biz/ shilling shit you know its most likely not to your benefit, dont get duped.

It is way way better to simply hold your money in ETH at the moment. Tons of new things on the horizon, a new major release incoming.
Its all up up up on the schedule for Eth.
last year ICOs were a sure thing, today very very risky.

maybe there are the ratio of successful ones to unsuccessful ones it much lower now because of too many shitty ones coming out all the time, but there are still some legit concepts out there if you do your research. I'm kind of split on BAT myself but going to throw some money at it just because of the /biz/ factor---that people here are hating on it a lot so it's bound to succeed lol

Self admitted newfag to crypto and I have to say I've seen this in nearly all of the alt coins I've began researching. It seems like almost all of them have a huge initial spike in value upon release and then plummet. Some of them will experience a short lived revival a year or so later, those are the only ones you'll even hear of.

The only coin I've seen so far which breaks this trend is Stratis. Started out low and now seems to have some legit potential.

well, you're a fucking retard, so how much insight could your "research" really provide? You looked at some graphs? Oh cool. If you invested 1k in Stratis last year you'd have a million dollars now. Where's your graph for that?

You're a self-admitted newfag, yet you're giving long term advice in crypto trading? shut the fuck up.

Can /biz/ redpill me about the Federal Reserve?

So I know that they're not federally owned despite what the name implies, and I know that the U.S dollar is not actually a currency the U.S owns, but a representation of how much the U.S government owes the Federal Reserve. I also know that there's interest in every dollar printed in order to deal with inflation.

But how does that work in specific? Say for instance there exists no dollar bills in the world, and the Federal reserve prints a $1 bill with 25 cents interest on top of it. So the U.S gov. owes 1.25 dollars to the fed, but how will it ever pay that interest back if only a 1 dollar bill has ever been printed?

Wouldn't that result into an endless spiral of printing, inflation and debt?

is Lending BTC or other crypto profitable at market interest rates on exchanges that offer it?
16 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>2221449
What do you consider "profitable"? If you're holding long-term and don't plan on looking at charts, sure, it'll generate <1% interest.
>>
>>2221479
Yes but won't that ~1% accrue rapidly?
It's corrected for changes in the market, it seems like everyone would be doing it
>>
>>2221479
I got 1% interest per day with BTC on Polo before. Problem is interest rates only go up when BTC price is likely to go down. Your win is someone's loss.

No coiner fag here. So is there way to buy altcoins with credit card and then sell them for $$? Or do you have to buy bitcoin first? Shit is confusing would anyone explain or point me in the right direction please.

make a coinbase account
but BTC/ETH there
move BTC/ETH to exchange (polo, bittrex, etc. lots listed on coinmarketcap.com)
start trading/shilling
>>
>>2221166
Thanks nice digits. So there is no way to just buy with the credit card. Everything has to be through bitcoin?
>>
>>2221153
You need USD to trade on NYSE, you need yen to trade on the jap exchange, and you need BTC or eth to trade on most crypto exchanges. ezpz. Get Gemini btw not cuckbase

I'm starting to think that "risk" is just another Jewish term to scare away people from money and financial interest. Risk is really relative, just as price is.

Wage-cuckery is far more risky, but without all the benefits a high-risk investment can provide.

This about it: you lose your job, you or your mom get an illness and must use almost all your savings to pay... you are at risk of poverty, but your boss get more reward AND less risk, because less money is far better than no income at all.

How is wage-cuckery not considered a risky investment?

Wage cuckery is a time-consuming, dehumanizing, high-risk, low-reward outdated system. I expect to be free from it very soon.
