It doubled because of the alt coin boom. People see others making money and they go nuts trying to get in on it. Nobody knows how high it will go. I personally don't see it going over 5k and I don't think that will be for years. My guess is it will have a huge crash again soon but I could be wrong. This market is irrational and seems to run on hysteria.

The problem with finding the next stratis is that you have to find an ico raising a small amount of capital

strattis only raised $600k from ico and thus its market cap managed to raise exponentially

although i like the idea of bancor and others im concerned it will have such a large starting marketcap & thus stratis tier gains will never be achieved again

Perhaps theyre trying to drive the price up, while driving eth down. Its a flip flop between the two, once btc is valued a bit more and eth has dipped, they scoop up the cheap eth. Then vose versa and rinse and repeat.

There is this new crowdfunding platform https://www.spacestarters.com/ which might be a place to watch, but their deep space industries crowdfunding failed, so there's that, even though DSI is a respected company, with some quite solid goals.
I like shitcoins as much as the next /biz/raelite, but I'd like to also bet some stuff on high risk real world use cases.
