Daily reminder that once Litecoin blows up it will never go down again. This is your one shot at greatness.
Litecoin is decent, but I hate that someone has been shilling it recently like it's just another shitcoin. Give it a proper thread it deserves and tell people WHY instead of memeing
Bump, been holding for a good while. It looks like it's escaping it's current barriers, but nobody's noticing because btc is going down.

why aren't the renewables taking off? would you invest in them?
they will take over sooner or later, r-right?
>>2448395
I can speak about European renewables
tl;dr: it's a wealth redistribution scam
central planning strikes again! all renewables except hydro are so shit that Euro gov'ts had to come up with a 20% renewable power by 2020 program; this program introduced an additional tax on all electric power grid users; they provided taxpayer money grants aiding the initial construction of renewable power plants and signed long-term contracts to take funds from aforementioned additional tax to purchase the power generated at above-market-prices
facts:
-solar only works during the day and doesn't produce that much even in ideal conditions
-wind power works well in certain places with loads of wind, however their yearly average is about 1/8 of installed power (potential they would produce in ideal conditions)
hydro is god-tier, however I am pretty salty about it because I missed the train on that one and could've been the owner of a 60kW such power station that would pay for itself in 3 years and operate another 30-50, reeeeeeeee
My guess is many governments across the world are pumping them with money and subsidizing their prices, causing a bubble. When the state protection inevitably comes to an end, you'll be in trouble if you invested.
The tech is too expensive still, and the produce too small
That's not to say there are no companies and techs worth investing in at all.. but keep this in mind: it's artificially made cheaper through forcing people to subsidize things they wouldn't otherwise buy

thank you very much for the quickrundown
>only buy crypto listed on coinbase
>buy/sell at opportune times
>keep everything outside of exchange wallet
if you aren't doing this, you're literally retarded.
explain?
>>2448320
I'm new to crypto and haven't invested yet so sorry if this is a dumb question:
What's wrong with the exchange wallets?
>>2448320
i keep thinking about doing this, but doesnt it take forever to sync your wallets every god damn day? this seems like a genuine pain in the ass
There are many of us, I am an early adopter.
I come here to advise, we all know of BITSHARES, and it has recently hit ATH, twice in one day. It's very low right now.
I have a lot riding on it, I suggest you get in.

C-can I beg for some ARK or BTC richman? I plan on donating some of my gains to the /biz/ community when I am able to afford a lambo, but until then...
BTC: 3MViiSrr3kGKwJyhB4qcLiJPjX4sBoV8CM
ARK: ATpCFDJrUapKioN1v5nwxGsvaNFW2fqASC
Thanks.
Also am I doing well holding ARK for the long term?
Is crypto investment a zero-sum game? Why / why not? There was a huge discussion about this here on /biz/ the other day, and no one could agree.
Yes
No
Maybe
I don't know
Can you repeat the question?
>>2448238
Right now? Obviously not, because money is being added to crypto at an alarming rate. Take a look at a market cap graph of all currencies. The value is going to rise as more people get involved.
In the long run, assuming crypto becomes a part of daily life... Well, maybe? But isn't the purpose of investment to take advantage of market fluctuations/supply & demand and make money?
tl;dr who cares. make money
Yes, duh. How is this even debatable? The only way you can make money if if you sell it to someone for a higher price. And the only way they can make money is if they sell it to someone for a higher price.

If you aren't aware of what is going to go down on August 1st in BTC world then you need to wake the fuck up. This will be the biggest 24hr in crypto history.
What's going down:

BitMAIN Miner Activated Hard Fork announcement (bad guys)

How to protect and profit?
Tldr: The ongoing scaling debate will finally come to an end when users activate SegWit via BIP148. As this will result in lower miner fees, BITMAIN (Jihan Wu) will attempt a hard-fork. Your coins will be on both chains, however the price will be affected. It's essential that everyone is aware of the event and gets behind the UASF.
>>2448149
i'm taking all my money out before then
>>2448157
Why? Your best shout is to HODL.
This is why I have scooped up a lot of LTC. LTC is the obvious place people will go to if they don't want to cash out and don't beat to be caught in the BTC shit late July and early August. SOMETHING will go way up, and I think it will be LTC. ETH is WAY too slow and unsafe for a shitload of people to store their money in while this shit goes down, therefore LITECOIN. It is stupidly undervalued as it is.
disclaimer I own all three
BITBEAN YES!
Yeah brother, after Porcfest we will go to the 350-400 sats again. End of the year 1000 sats.
And even then I wont sell 1 fucking bean.
>>2448127
>tfw bought it at 173 yesterday
>>2448127
FFS pump it higher, i just bought.
So this is our escape pod in late July right? If we all agree to shift to Monero we will definitely get the normies on board to and then can shift back to BTC after the tide has settled.

I'm waiting for my exchange accounts to get verified but it takes so fucking long.
Just want to see how it works, a couple of cents is enough.
Don't wanna come across as a lazy poor fag, I can make meme's for people in exchange for crypto.
Also realize people don't wanna give away serious coins so tell me for which meme coin I need to make a wallet.
