What wallet is your favorite and why? I've been using hot wallets online, I know that's not a good plan long-term, because it's basically an IOU from the service provider. I like the accessibility though, particularly in a "shit hit the fan" scenario where you might not have access to your home or a safety deposit box.

Right now I'm thinking about buying a Trezor. The Ledger Nano seems a little better from the reviews I've read, but all the places selling it won't get it to you until late summer or Fall. The prices on Amazon for it are absurd.

So what do you anons use/recommend? I was thinking maybe get a hardware wallet, but also print that same Bitcoin on paper to either stash somewhere or scan/store in some online repository. Reasoning for that being you'd have a backup if the device was lost/damaged/destroyed.

Also, any considerations of where your Bitcoin should be if/when a hard fork happens? I read some material Trezor had on this subject and still didn't understand all the implications. It sounded like if you had 1 BTC when the fork happened, you would now have 1 Bitcoin Classic coin and 1 Bitcoin Unlimited coin. The fiat value of the total though wouldn't change.

Hardware wallets are the best choice.
Buying the ledger on their website is cheaper, but still wont ship until late August
>inb4 MUH PAPER WALLET
Dont need a paper wallet unless you are expecting an EMP attack, in which case you are fucked anyways
>>

What do you think about just going with a Trezor since those are available right now?
>>
>>2434692
I simply dont like the look of the Trezor, looks cheap so I never bought one. Now that they support ETH though, I might be considering it. They have been around for a while and have already established a good reputation for themselves
