This might happen. If there's no false hype then it will rise naturally but only if:
a) the tech delivers on what it promises and REDD ID will actually be something unique and usable;
b) after the release there will be proper marketing from the team, so far they're asking for donations only for devs, administration and operations, so far they have no proper marketing team.

I can see this going either really well or really bad, at the moment I'm leading towards the latter.
