Why does economics assume the average customer is aware of the quality of the product they're purchasing? Why does economics assume the average customer is conscious and self-aware? Why does economics assume everyone is motivated by profit maximization? If supply and demand is real how do you explain the phenomenon of "Veblen goods"?

Classical economics describes human behavior in an approximate, general way. It's like physics problems where there are frictionless surfaces in a vacuum.

Profit includes non-material and non-monetary gain. This includes status, which explains Veblen goods.
>>
>>2735404

If it's non-material and non-monetary what kind of gain is it?

Wow, they are suck skilled devs they couldn't even manage a litecoin clone and had to go with a ER20 token.

I might pick some up if they get their own blockchain running but as we all know 99% of all token ICOs are low effort scams.
>>

Calling this a low effort scam is simply crazy. Try the beta

there isn't, you have to pay attention to developments in the tech, see who's saying they're interested, and literally speculate
>>
Inflation is easy:
(24 hours / block time) * coins per block * current price.

Valuation is purely speculation.

Why do landlords hate their tenants so much?

On the one hand, people are shit and the law favors the tenant, so I can sorta empathize with the landlord. On the other hand, I've heard dozens of anecdotes from people claiming to be landlords on this site, and even assuming only ten percent of them to be true, there is still this uniform contempt for the source of the owner's passive income. /Business owners/ and people anywhere near operations don't hate "their people" this much.

>>
because tenants are whiny and passive aggressive. you will seldom have a responsible friendly tenant.

they're like gibsmedat level jews.
>>
Have you ever had a tenant? You can't even make them vacate the house on time. They'll just make up some bullshit excuses about why they can't leave even though they haven't been paying rent. If you call the cops to make them leave, you look like a heartless asshole.

Worse, some of them will just get up and leave without paying.

Poorfag here. I have been hearing a lot of wallet recommendations. The hardware ones that include alt coins seem expensive, but I dont want my wallet to be hacked. Are there any reasonably priced hardware wallets that suit my needs? I have online wallets for most of the big coins and I leave the alts on Poloniex

I just use online software - blockchain - for my bitcoin, so if my computer packs up I can still access it online without fearing of losing it all. DO NOT USE COINBASE FOR STORAGE.

Cold storage (on a usb stick etc) is all well and good but it can also get corrupted and expensive, but if you have thousands of ££££ portfolio then its a good idea.

Hardware wallets are to microsoft office, as software wallets are to google drive.

I prefer google drive.
>>
>>2735299
Which linux OS is best? Would the computer be used just for that purpose?

How come some people don't advertise price in ads? For example, in housing for rent markets, some ads have the price per month, and others don't, so that you have to inquire over the phone. What is the logic behind not naming the price? And, are these "inquire within" prices often better or worse than the listings with prices listed?

>What is the logic behind not naming the price?
Trying to sell you on the product before you actually see the price. For many people, they'll turn down a product because of the price and no amount of cajoling will fix that. By hiding the price until the last possible moment, businesses bank on the customers "love" of the product overriding their initial misgivings due to price.
>>
>>2735143
Ahhh. That makes sense, thanks! So, then, the price on these listings will often be market price or nothing special, right? If even a bit inflated?
>>
>>2735119
Forcing you to call them will allow them to put you in a databse of buyer, and then you have pajeet call centers calling you 24/7 to sell you shit
