So let's see if I get this straight: The chinks are hard forking into "Bitcoin Cash"? How serious is this? Doesn't this mean everyone will sell alt-coins and put it in Bitcoin in order to receive both real, American Bitcoin and chinkcoins ?
Why is this not happening already? The alts aren't crashing. Can anyone help me understand?

But yeah LTC is kill op. While every coin was dumping LTC maintained these prices just based on speculation that segwit would fail, BTC would contentiously split and people would flock to LTC.
Segwit2x looks set to go forward. The only hard fork there will be is the chinkcoin thing but that's a non-event. BTC might dip and make LTC spike around august but until then it's going down so when it does spike it might just get to the current price.

That way I spend most of time knowing that could have won, while only spending ~$2/year. Only mega millions or powerball if the powerball jackpot is 4x what the mega millions is.

I'm only up +43% from my initial cash investment of 20k, which feels really fucking abysmal, especially because this bubble could burst at any moment and send us flying back down to the pits of hell. I wish I sold back in June when I was well over 300% gains, but I got greedy and just held due to FOMO.
I mean if I was at a casino, I'd probably just leave now instead of gambling away what's left of my gains; 43% is better than 0%, or worse yet, negative. Does the same logic apply to crypto? What if everything plummets in august and takes 3+ years for me to get back into the green?
I'm ready to pack my bags and get out, so at least I can say I made 8 grand by planing with magical internet coins.
