Just a tip for those who probably already know.

SEC isn't even the code for it, dumbass
Hello my dear people of /biz/,
I started "trading" cryptos since I started lurking /biz/ but I don't really understand the technology behind it.
I'm sure several people on /biz/ feel the same, so I thought we could start something like a "tech-general", to discuss technology-related questions, that aren't worth an own thread.
To start, two questions from me:
>it it possible to use a blockchain as a server?
e.g. to run a website without using a "real" server, while the data and files get stored on the notes.
Does a project exist that wants to create something like this? I think I've read something like "onchain-sites" in the ESP-Ann, but there were no additional info.
(some buzzwords to google, so I find better results?)
>how important is the programming language, a crypto is created with?
would python get the same results (speed, safety, anonymity, etc.) like C++?
Is there a "best" language or do different languages have different pros and cons?
(thought about learning python and creating a "simple" project using it, to understand the technology better -> good or dumb idea?)
>>2992048
python is a joke.
you would be better off writing something like this in node.js for simplicity
or c++ for sure.
the whole block chain is peer to peer instead of using a central server.
everyones computer runs the server and compares the validity of the data amongst the network.
https://medium.com/@lhartikk/a-blockchain-in-200-lines-of-code-963cc1cc0e54
also block chains are leftist gay nonsense
that's the idea, everyone who is buying now is speculating that apps like what you're talking about actually get made and adopted using blockchain, then the value will actually be real
Siacoin for example allows decentralized storage I think, ETH/NEO/EOS allow you to write stuff with the contracts, check steemit for an example of what it looks like
>>2992048
also the only real sensible application of this outdated , insanely slow and inefficiently wasteful
technology, with a promise of extremly high transaction fees once the blocks are mined, is secretive black market transaction and store of laundered money.
there is no legitimate compelling reason for a company to want to use this technology , cept to ride the btc hype coatails , because they are too cheap to pay for server and data storage, so they would make the users do it. or because they are leftist communist delusional faggots
who genuinely believe a public shared peer to peer """"DECENTRALIZED"""" currency will usurp the usd
>be software dev
>take out a short position on bitcoin
>make tons of forks of bitcoin
>use different aliases so they can't be tied back to me
>add features to the forks that make them more attractive to miners
>crash the price of bitcoin
>???
>profit
Name one thing wrong with this strategy.
You aren't a software developer
>>2992026
you just learned how to ubuntu
>bitcoin doesn't crash
>you get liquidated and KYS like everyone who tried the same shit before
Here, I predicted the future for you
I stumbled upon this shitcoin on /biz/ called TeaToken, and at first I thought it was pretty stupid. A cryptocurrency just for tea? What? But then I remembered this coin called CoffeeCoin that made a bunch of money for nothing. I watched the introduction video on teatoken.io and it was actually very well done.
And I came to realize. IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THE COIN DOES! If normies like it, it will moon. Just like signatum, that giant shitcoin, and bitbean and yes, coffeecoin.
So I decided to put my money where my mouth is and buy 10,000 TeaTokens for 1 ETH since this is the pre-ico stage of their ICO. Next stage 1 ETH = 5,000 TeaTokens.
This is literally a copy and paste of another post made several days ago.
Fuck it. Might as well get in and collect the normies money. They don't stand a fucking chance.
I swear to god if this moons.... there's been so many coins that got fudded to shit, and then turned out to moon way higher than anyone could have predicted
Segwit happening in 20 minutes
What happen then?
nothing
Everything
something
I work at a place that throws away a ton of decent oak boards every day with minor defects. I'm allowed to take it home. What is some simple shit I can do with it to make money? I don't have woodworking tools at home but I'd be willing to pick up a few.

Over the years I've spent more than $2000 on private shows with cam-girls. I'm afraid to add up all the payments and figure out the exact number, I just know it's at least that much. I tell myself it's just an 'entertainment expense' as a coping method.
