Hello Biz,
I played with dummy money on Blockfolio over the last 2 weeks and gained 500%.

Got onto most moon missions since started, and lost only few euro here and there.

Do I have God hands or is it just beginners luck?

I do my research and I know how markets and mooning works.

I trade only shitcoins.

hi friends, new to /biz/ but had a question about BTC and wallets.

I bought 40 dollars of bitcoin in 2013 (at 900/BTC) and wanted to see if i still had it. I have the address that the 40 dollars worth went to (bought through coinbase) but i cant for the life of me remember how to access a wallet.

i have Kleopatra written down on a board where i keep all my passwords, and i faintly remember using it but im not sure if its related to all of this.

any help?
40 dollars now is 140, and i could really use some extra money if i cashed in, even if i cashed in to microsoft or something.

pic related: my purchase history (1 purchase, 40 dollars)

what do you think /biz/ what price is Aragon going to reach? And when to sell out?

I think $5.00 by the end of August is a good, conservative estimate. If something crazy happens we could see $10 by October.

>The Risks of Segregated Witness: Opening the Door to Mining Cartels Which Could Undermine the Bitcoin Network
>If implemented, SegWit would change this for the worse. It opens the door to an economic incentive model that would encourage mining cartels to form. As the bitcoin network currently operates, there is no incentive for miners to form cartels. Mining pools are not cartels; they are a firm. But SegWit introduces a fundamental change to bitcoin: the “AnyOneCanSpend address”, or essentially a blank signature for transactions. SegWit uses an “AnyOneCanSpend” address so that transactions will be validated and recorded into blocks, even though the sender/receiver signature data is separated. Normally, an “AnyOneCanSpend” output (as its name implies) would allow any miner to spend the funds associated with that transaction; therefore, SegWit would introduce new rules for interpreting “AnyOneCanSpend”. This means that miners could not take advantage of that output address to inappropriately spend the funds associated with all SegWit transactions.
>But with “AnyOneCanSpend” addressing, the system is only secure while all participants agree it is secure. Proponents of SegWit assume that once its protocol change is activated, all miners will agree to play nicely, never steal funds, and funds will be locked up safely. But the major flaw in their thinking is that it ignores economic incentives for nefarious miners to do the following after SegWit activates:
>1. Form a cartel to take over the network
>2. Switch off SegWit and revert back to the current bitcoin protocol
>3. Take advantage of the “AnyoneCanSpend” address to instantly steal funds associated with all SegWit transactions in blocks they mined.

So I've tried syncing Blockfolio but its never accurate. Neo still shows as antshares at like $15 and other shit is wrong as well. What gives?

One annoying thing about blockfolio is that it's a pain in the ass to track trades between bitcoin and altcoins.
>>
>>3024809
Because once it synchs, you have to add NEO manually as well and the transaction history
>>
Can someone please for the love of god tell me how to keep track on ALL THE TRANSACTIONS that happen daily, with Blockfolio. How do you guys do it? If I send some BTC to buy Alt coin, I have to account for the fee and price change etc. It is so annoying!

So Youtube just demonetized tons of vids just because they don't fit with the company's views on political matters.

See :

Not trying to shill, but IMO everybody should hold a small bag of LBRY just to encourage alternatives to Youtube.

This is the future of blockchain : fighting companies like Google or Facebook (and not just banks).

So I just came across this. https://nemflash.io/nem-beta-0-6-93-release-fee-fork/

SO NEM is gettingan update at block 1250000, it's at 1236642.

This up date will reduce its message transaction fees by a factor of 20.

transfers will cost 0.05 XEM per 10k XEM, capped at 1.25 xem (i.e 1.25 xem to send 250,000 XEM)

Few others too. Worth getting into? Only downside I can see is the marketcap and amoutn of XEM, but I keep hearing this is a seriously solid coin and no one has anything bad to say about it? I've a feeling this could be massive.

Hello,

I am so new at this, to the point I have yet to even bought anything. It was suggested I learn how the market works before buying. I know this might be a dumbass question. However, I was hoping somebody could explain how some coins can have an increasing BTC volume and go up and others can also have an increasing BTC volume but go down in value.

Thanks
