Suppose you were a whale who wanted to convert your holdings into fiat.
What's the practical limit on this? Could you convert a hundred million dollars worth of BTC into USD in any reasonable time frame?
i don't know much, but surely they'd have their own higher volume exchanges, where they can do shit without the peasantry seeing, for a fee of course

Several weeks tops on the major exchanges. You'll need to provide them a bunch of documentation and pay taxes.
Alternatively you could move 100k/week cold hard cash on localbitcoins.com completely anonymous.
People who talk about "haha yeah $4000 bro but try cashing out ;)" are retarded nocoiners.
Granted, we're talking about BTC here. You're not going to be able to do this with some random shitcoins.

I worked as a trader for a while before the 08 recession. The house I worked for would sell large amounts by setting smaller positions throughout the day. If the market realized that a large position was moving, obviously that would affect market price.

I predict 1000
>>3084793
8k, this might be the last year of trading literal shitcoins. Exponential growth will make it impossible to trade against bitcoin in hopes to acquire more.
>>3084812
So I only have this year left to accumulate more
>OMG has finished its pump for the night.

I asked some days ago already but I hope to get some more advices. How do I become a freelancer? I'm tired of being a wageslave and spending 8h in an office with my boss looking at my screen all the time. Would like to be my own boss at my pace. I know however, that being a freelancer can be tough too.
Are there any sources, books, etc. that you can recommend? My field is UI/UX design and I have a strong portfolio. But I don't know how I can get my first clients. Should I just mail thousand companies and introducing myself? I would rather stay away from those many freelance platforms as the competition is high and there are tons of people who do the job for 10% of the fair payment.
My idea is also to make an PDF file with an introduction, my skills, my recent work and then some pricing options. Like 3 days of work as a cheapest package and 7 days of work for a high price to get a fully working prototype of their app/software. Of course flexible, so that it depends on what the client could need and pay.
I just can't really figure out where to start and get my first jobs. Do you also have some general advices about this? Also is 500 Euro per day a good rate to start
>>3084528
you need as many professional contacts as you can get, you need to shill yourself, your achievements and your strengths
second step is to ready the field and gradually steal away your employer's clients
