I currently work for a cannabis company that does over 100mm in revenue a year and am very close to the owners. They aren't very technical and are hesitant to invest in something involving crypto, although they think this is a good idea. That said, they're a very valuable resource for connections and investment in the future.
Consumers, dispensaries, manufacturers, and distributers are prohibited from paying for cannabis products with credit cards. Inconvenient.
What if a consumer can swipe their credit card, purchase a coin, and immediately exchange the coin for cannabis goods. After the exchange of goods for coins, the dispensary automatically exchanges the coin for fiat. The processor charges a fee to the consumer and the dispensary.
Cannabis is a billion dollar industry in retail sales alone in Colorado. Come 2018, California will completely blow this number out of the water.
How can this work? I know little about crypto, but I think it's the key.
Anyone interested in developing this with me?
MetalPay already does this.

I think the technology is similar to metalpay, but the application is different.
CRYPTO CHART IS KILLING ME
>>3174825

Get bots.
Then get other hobbies and let the bots do it.
Buy low and you'll never have to worry about the charts.
Last chance before to get onboard 0x moon mission before radar relay exchange gets released in the next week.
I've struck the jackpot at long last. No amount of fud can possibly get me to sell this under $1

anyone familiar with doing wire transfers with pic related?
how long does it take?
what were the fees?
>Fees listed are what our bank charge us. Other banks used during the transfer may charge additional fees and are out of our control.
this is the line that bugs me. I don't want to deposit $1,000 and get charged $100 in fees.
are there kraken fees on top of bank wire fees?
so many questions plz help me /biz/
>>3174786
>deposit ripple
>gets put 'on hold'
>need to provide a government ID, some ridiculous selfie and a proof of residence to access my money.
I fucking hate kraken.
>>3174851
why arent you using bittrex fucking brainlet
Why doesn't a billionaire just pump and dump cryptos all day since it's perfectly legal? Most coin market caps aren't even a billion
>>3174768
that's literally 90% of the daily crypto volume
>>3174768
You've got to let a rat win 30% of the time or they'll stop playing.
how many BTC do i need to start PnDing shitcoins?
The manipulation sickens me.
The highly illegal pump and dump groups are cancerous.
The insider trading is unacceptable.
Fake walls are deplorable.
This stuff needs to be reigned in, big time. I hope you all agree with mee and help me come up with a solution to send our senators to let them know that we need these markets throttled.
Perhaps some sanctions against China will show those chink whales we expect a friendly competitive market not slanted in their favor.
Yeah we need to centralise crypto. Maybe put it in the hands of the banks.
And remove blockchain technology. And get an international organisation like the IMF to oversee it.
I can even think of a coin that could power the whole thing. We could call it the "US dollar".
>>3174763
go trade your USD

No idea if the coin will be worth anything, though.

the ICO has been running so long, its probably going to dump immediately.

If one owns a house worth 100k is it a good idea to get an equity loan -> down payments on rental houses -> pay equity loan and mortgages with rent income and work?
What are some of the risks aside from tenants moving out leaving no income?
>>3174726
>What are some of the risks aside from tenants moving out leaving no income?
Tyrone fucks your house up, refuses to pay, then sues you for his niglet son that is retarded for lead paint poisoning when you had no idea lead paint was in the house
>spoiler, there was no lead paint but since your house was made before 1980, the jury found you guilty anyway. And since your white, you owe double plus reparations.
>muh freedom

>What are some of the risks aside from tenants moving out leaving no income?
housing market crash leaving you with negative equity

It becomes a superfund site and you are a potentially responsible party. It happened to my manager. He is 55 and lives in a tiny apartment now.
Do you regret holding more, or do you regret selling more?
>>3174702
Selling.
holding if it's a PND shit coin, selling if it's actually a good coin
>>3174718
I mean in general.

How would you do this? Could someone, or a group of investors, actually buy an island, and create their own "country" without it being a country, just a business. "Employees" would live there and contribute to the preservation of the community and business that runs the place. Do the numbers for something like this work? How would you do something like this?

There's a thread on /pol but I'm autistic and can't link to it
>>3174668
Fuck off /pol/ fag stop larping there is no way this is possible without a foreign military invading you.
>>3174675
>but I'm autistic and can't link to it
If you're autistic you should have the super power to understand exactly how to link across boards you silly.
And to answer your question, no. There was a bunch of Libertarians who tried that in the 70's, I think it was called "Minerva". The atoll fell beneath the waves and the Togo "navy" (just a bunch of convicts on a dingy with the King) reclaimed it as Togo Territory.
There was an Italian businessman who tried to build a Sea-stead but I think it got raided or something.
There have been attempts by companies like Cadbury and I assume even Disney to build towns where everyone works for the company, but I assume that's not what you're talking about.
Your way better off simply buying off a poor small country and infiltrating their government as a éminence grise, there by giving you access to regular diplomatic channels, legitimacy in the eyes of international law, and most important - LUXURY.
Think of Cecil Rhodes, Rupert Murdoch, the early Medici's... a silver tongue and silver coins is enough.
how long before this shitcoin dies?
>>3174664
Nice try fuck off bagholder

Thoughts on Obsidian?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2004871.0
Thinking about dropping 1 ETH on the ICO.
>>3174627
Seems like a good idea. Hasnt been one like it yet. Great for pedos and money launderers tho
>>3174627
I've got 26k ODN. I'm ready
>>3174640
Cryptocurrency is pretty much technology for pedos, sex traffickers, snuff porn, and money laundering/tax evasion for the rich. None of which are mutually exclusive.
This bag is getting heavy

every cunt who dumped OAX at Binance for half the price of Liqui/EtherDelta should die IRL
OAX will be $10 by January.
