This aint going anywhere just yet bro. Move to Lisk, make some money, move back to Ark afterwards.
Or are you one of those "long hold" guys who waits 6 months for like a 50% return?
Lets go
So, obviously Monero pumped as we know from 40-50 to healthy 85 levels.
It dipped quite significantly to a low of 0.0185, from high of 0.024, as it did a few times before.
It is now recovering slowly, as it seems. It seems to be stable above or around 0.02.
Obviously, nothing moons forever and coins that had a 40-50% pump in the last days are probably always somewhat dangerous.
My question, I read this:
> ""Bithumb is encouraging monero trading by running a promotion; between August 23 and August 25, those who deposit XMR at their Bithumb account will receive an extra one percent on top. Furthermore, the exchange is also running a trading competition, whereby the top 50 biggest traders in terms of trading amounts will be given a prize of up to 100 XMR (worth over $7,800 at the time of writing)."
Now, this is tomorrow. Asian markets will wake up in a few hours. Many people wanna claim this bounty, or the free promotion gift, and I think volume is always highest in the end (slow people).
So I assume atleast one more 10-20%, possibly surpassing previous High.
Does this make sense? I am not a professional or even good trader but could this be a "predictable" pump?
>>3195647
But, Bitcoin Cash might be special,
but all these people leaving after the first wave of 30-40% gains missed out on two more pumps that would've almost tripled your investment if you got in premoon.
Maybe this can happen to Monero too? Given the relatively low marketcap and influx of new traders.
>>3195647
OP here, I know we have some savant tier traders here and I am a low IQ subhuman, so I would love to be awared if it is a good idea short-term to put in XMR.
Maybe there are no predictable pumps in crypto.
Alright senpai, listen up.
Bitcoin was a pioneer. But it has issues. Lot's of issues:
- Non scalable blocksize (Monero does this with an algorithm).
- Public blockchain EVERYONE can see what you are doing.
- ASICs ruined the decentralization.
- Fungability, "dirty money"
- ...
BTC is great for banks since all the transactions are publicly available. Great for trust! But it's a complete nightmare for consumers.
I've always really liked programming and stuff. I know a little bit of Java and some more web oriented languages. I'm only just wondering if anyone has any advice for someone who'd like to take up more blockchain as a hobby? Thanks!
Im interested in this too....
You guys think it could be a lucrative skill?
